Genn sneezed as dirt slide off his metallic face, his tail slamming against the ground as he found himself still very much above it. You'd think after years spent in a cavern too small for his body, he'd be a much better tunneller. Frankly he was fairly sure he WAS better then that at tunnelling. Probably cause this was a dream. Next thing you knew he'd be some old Steelix in a retirement home rocking back and forth in a chair. The very notion sent shivers up and down his spine...least he was pretty sure he had a spine. Sort of hard to tell if he even had bones given his structure.
Pushing that aside the Steelix would plunge forward, teeth tearing into the dirt as he began to eat once more. After all how did one thing a Steelix got rid of the excess dirt while digging?

This time when the boy passed a Pokemon, it would be another Phanpy, and this one seemed to be outright ignoring him. If the paranoid little brat wasn't smart enough to do what was right, why should they bother acknowledging his existence?

Walking through the path, Sora realized something. This was just like that cyber adventure. Only all this was dream related. He wondered if it was possible to mentally think of something and that something would actually happen. Out in the corner of his eye he saw a small blue figure. Turning his full attention to it, he saw that it was a Phanpy. It seemed to be ignoring him. Sora thought it was best to leave the Phanpy alone. After all, so much has happened after encountering the Trapinch.

Momo caught sight of the berry and giggled happily. That was just great! A berry! Picking it up, she then placed it in her pack. Today must be her lucky day! The Spinda girl continued along the path. Who knew what they would find next!

it would happen at the same time ...as the dirt would collapse inwards on them both. The lavritar that had choose to push too much too soon, and the Steelix that seemed to have a hard time even getting started. Maybe, he needed to concentrate a bit more on shoveling than trying to take big gulping mouth fulls. As it would seem that each time that he did this, more dirt would simply roll into the spot.
It could be frustrating as the Lavritar had to back up a few paces underneath the earth. He would dig through, and then ...start to secure the top and bottom of the area. He didn't need to have another incident like before ....as he would press it a few times to be sure before he would start to dig again.

What they would find next ....was a creature that was well known for it's strength as the poison type was resting on a rock. It's eyes closed ...as it let it's throat fill up with air to the point that it was as big as a balloon before it would deflate again. It was playing, though such a technique wasn't normal for it's kind ....she had developed it over time.
One eye would crack open just a bit.
The she would close it again, if Momo wants her attention she could have it, but otherwise, the pokemon was literally ignoring her at this point.

A loud thud could be heard as Genn's tail smacked hard against the ground, rocks scattering in the wake of the large metallic limb. Things hadn't been going well...but the sign of his irritation would also be the solution. Turning his head back, Genn would lift his tail up and stare at it for a moment, watching as the spear typed end slowly rotated along with the other segments of his body which bore large protrusions. It was true he bore a shovel shaped head, but then...he wasn't a shovel now was he? The Steelix's eyes light up as he starred back at where he'd been digging, and suddenly the rotation of his tail sped up, producing a slight whirring sound before he thrust it into the earth. Yes. He wasn't a shovel...he was a DRILL! ">I don't know about the heaven's, but mine is a drill to pierce the world! GAAHHAHAHAA!!!<" Genn laughed boisterously as his weight began to sink into the dirt. He'd have to turn around at some point, but this was certainly a good way to make an opening!

The boy's next encounter would be with a Mankey...a Mankey and a rather disturbing image. Sitting with it's tail wrapped around a branch, the pig-monkey was sitting on a bush...wearing a blond wig and brushing the hair of a small, worn out doll ">I am a pretty pretty princess<" It said cheerfully, and in a very evidently masculine tone.

It would be the first time, that he managed to tear into the ground successfully as the tail trick would seem to work. The pokemon digging deeply into the earth ....as the Lavritar felt the earth tremble around him. He would place one hand eagerly against the side of his own mound of dirt.
Close his eyes as he concentrate on distance and he almost snickered. On the first try ...he had managed to get that deep? He had to admit that was a bit more impressive, but, he still had a ways to catch up to him, and beside, he had the lead so far in terms of distances. He only needed to keep it that way ....as he would start to dig even deeper. He wouldn't stop here and shore up the earth just yet, yes he knew the risk of not doing that. He might lose his lead here ...simply because he press on, but, if he stop here, and did that and the pokemon caught up by taking the risk he wouldn't ....well ...he wasn't going to lose easily.
That much he promise himself, and this was his mountain, so that equal to ...he wasn't going to lose at all ....as he stuck his claws deep and started to throw dirt around as he tried to get deeper and deeper into the earth.

Momo glanced at the pokemon resting and figured it was best to leave it alone. Naps were fun and all but it was a lot more fun to be out and about doing various things! Skipping, spinning, anything! The Spinda girl wasn't really one to bother others while they were resting so off she went to continue down the path!

She would watch them both ...as one pass the other as she flick the little horn on her head from one eye to the other. Her pelt shimmering lightly ....as she would kick out once, and scrape the rocks of her hindlegs. This was a mark that would let the other's know where she had traveled ....as she would hop from one stone to another ....and do the same.
Lead them ...lead them ...and then ...as she went to catch the next one ...her paw would slip. SHe would feel gravity take over, and before she could correct herself she would literally fall into their path ...almost on her head.
Sliding to a stop at the bottom, she would rub one paw against her face before recognizing where she had ended up and popping back to her paws. Her eyes narrowed as she tries to pretend like she had meant to do that.
(Who goes there ....if you want to pass, you have to play a game with me ....or else ...you will be stuck fast)
She tried to rhyme as she made her declaration and held herself solidly. Though considering her weak stance, if they wanted to walk past her ...well she wasn't exactly pose to stop them, and if it was a battle they wanted. ...well all they had to do was ask ....as the Absol's eyes fell upon them.

Dirt would fly as Genn sought to travel deeper into the ground, the hard protrusions of his body ripping into the earth even as the Steelix briefly began to curl up. For an instant he went for
circle, turning himself around so that his head was faced properly into the earth, and then he'd take his drilling one step further. Allowing his body to go ridged and straight, the segments of his body which bore the large metallic 'bars' as well as his head would begin to rotate, pushing him throw the soil, his teeth gnashing to consume the access so as not to hinder his progress!

Digging ...digging ...digging, the pokemon was digging again when it collapse on him. All the dirt, as he pushes his head out and blow some of the dirt away from his maw.
There was a want to throw a serious fit here ...as he starts to reset up the area, and scoop back up the dirt as he flung it to one side. He couldn't lose, he wasn't going to lose ....as he started to dig much more furiously at the soil. He was going to get through this ...no matter waht as he started to dig again. The sound of crunching above made it clear that his opponent was ahead of him.
