She watched the pup go from cutesy back to his normal hostility. "I guess you were right, pup." She stated to the mini. "So I suppose this is how it shall be. Come, Ama. Let's get our interrogation over with." She rose and followed the lackey.
Ama stood and shook the grass from her coat before following.

Inside the cave, Cypher sat to the right of Smith, gaze focused on Ama and Bella's entrance.
Lunaris rose, following the two adults into the cave.

Smith had once again been pushed to his agitated state, and he'd make that known. He didn't care if Bella and Ama found out about him listening to the past conversation, he just wanted straight up answers.
He stared at them with his classic glare. "Alright you two, I want detailed information on where you have been and who you have come in contact with." They would probably want to know why, so Smith did the only thing he could, lie. "I need to know this because this cave is perticularly important to me, and there are some Tala I just don't want to know about it."

Bella glared with a look of ferocity. "Do not invite us into your home and then treat us like the ground you walk on. As I told your lackey we know no one who would venture to look for us. So you don't have to worry about others finding your home unless the little fuzzball decides to jump out at other Talaye again." She flopped onto her haunches, the fur on the back of her neck still bristled in agitation.
Ama sat close to the mini Tala, trying to hide her big body behind his tiny frame.

Cypher growled, wings fluttering in agitation.
"Who the hell do you think you are, talking to him like that?! The only one who does the commanding around here is master....you don't hold a position of authority here!"
Pfft, stuck up adults thought they could order his master around! What the hell were they thinking?!
Lunaris blinked back at Ama, looking slightly confused.
"err...."
Smirking, the little pup sidestepped, the tiny bit of Ama that was concealed being revealed once more.

Smith shot a glare to Cypher as to say 'SHUT UP!', this was no time to fight, he had found out they were being honest and not just smug. "Fair enough oh purple one. Just keep the spaz away from me and all shall be fine. I'd rather not get tackled in the middle of the night. I like to get my sleep."

"FINE!" Belladonna rose to her full stature once more, head held up in dignity. Snarling once at Cypher she stalked out to cool her head. That pup was going to end up in a world of trouble if he didn't learn to let the grownups talk. Fuming still, she stalked off through the trees.
Ama looked sheepish. "She'll uh... be back." Looking around she couldn't contain her curiosity any longer. "Does furhead really hop on you when you sleep?" Let's face it, Cypher had been the one freaking out, so Amaranta didn't know it was her Smith had been referring to.

Immediately submissive once more, Cypher's ears flattened back against his head and the pup lowered himself to the ground, trying to look as small as possible.
"Sorry...."
His voice was a mere whisper in the cave, the pup fearing another round of abuse from his master.
"Hey! Wait up!"
Oh hell no, he wasn't about to be stuck in the cave with the idiots. Lunaris turned and quickly ran off after Bella, struggling to keep up with the larger Tala.

"Cypher, go apologize to Bella...NOW!" Smith wouldn't ever say he was sorry, cause honestly, he never was, so why bother saying it. But he would be damned if Cypher didn't say it. Smith's gaze soon turned to Ama. "And just what do you mean by that? I was talking about you pouncing on me."

Ama tilted her head. "But you said spazz and I was sitting her minding my own business." If ever there was a time for a fake halo made from a wire hanger, this was the time she needed it the most. "He was freaking out." She pointed accusingly to Cypher and giggled. Stopping midlaugh it was as if a lightbulb turned on. "So you do or you don't want me to pounce on you while you're sleeping?" It was a weird request but she'd do it for a friend.
Bella didn't turn her head back to the mini; instead she hopped up onto a rock in the middle of the forest and flopped down, still in a deep state of agitation. "I swear if I see that suckup Cypher pup anytime soon, I'm going to box his ears."

Heartbroken, Cypher trudged off out of the cave, tail dragging along behind him. All he had tried to do was stick up for his master! And instead of praise he received nothing but more punishment. Tears welling up for the first time since this whole ordeal had started, the little pup slowly followed Bella's tracks.
Lunaris ran up beside the rock, flopping down nearby.
"Mind if I watch? I'd enjoy seeing that..."

Bella shrugged at the mini. She couldn't seem to escape him, but he seemed ok for a pup. He asked too many questions but he seemed open to suggestion.
Ama sat silently, thinking long and hard about what Smith had just said. "I'LL TAKE THAT AS A MAYBE!" She giggled and smiled at him.

Cypher sighed. Maybe now wasn't the best time to go after Bella. Sure...his master said so...but the little pup was a wreck. And she sure seemed made when she left....
Trudging over to a tree, Cypher flopped down below it to gather his thoughts.
Lunaris meanwhile went silent. So far he hadn't ticked off this adult too badly, and he sure didn't want to start now.
