George couldn't help but agree with Osmond, "Thats part of the reason I am not in the force. I figure I can do more good helping single citizens, one at a time and maybe tackle the syndicates in a way that a normal officer could do." He smiled with some ideas on how to have some fun with the syndicates.

Tyr shook his head, He kind of shrugged, I am not too worried about that right now though. I am just getting to know this human and what is expected of me.

George looked around as night started to approach. He was looking for some tall pines that might allow them to sleep under it out of the rain but still in kind of the open.

"I think we need to find a nice place to sleep first and then gather some wood from the nearby area to make a fire. Some of us could grab some wood as we walk and explore to find a good place to sleep."

He reached into his pack and pulled out a short axe perfect for cutting up some small bits of wood for a camp fire along with some matches. He had come prepared for a camping trip and long hike.

"I don't have a hoothoot or anything, but Voltron can use flash if that would help." Keria offered him.

The emolga stood proudly hearing his name, he would be quite willing to help Shaun, what kind of superhero would he be if he didn't help find the group a suitable villein free camp space.

Dora introduced herself to the trainer holding the poochyena, distracted by whatever Mordred was getting up to. "Dora Richards, nice to meet you," she said absently.

-----
The next few hours passed in a blur as the sky grew darker and the temperature continued to drop. Failing entirely at getting Mordred to stop pleading for shinies (the murkrow was fixated now, and kept trying everything from sneak attacks to pleading little bird-hop dances), Dora instead kept her attention on keeping the doduo calm and walking forward.

But it was getting too cold and dark to go on, and this ridiculously large group was only going to end up having more trouble the later they continued moving. Looking around the group, Dora frowned. "Does anyone have a fire type here?"

"Not in the dark, precisely," Shaun answered. "But it's got some features that let me see better in lower light. It could be helpful, especially if we look for a place to stop before it gets fully dark out." He lifted the camera to hie eye and fiddled with a couple settings, making the view as bright and clear as possible.

Shaun looked up when someone offered a pokemon with Flash. "Thanks, that sounds useful," he said with a nod. "But I don't think Flash will help me too much. It would probably be more useful in searching from the ground or when we're setting up the camp. I think it's intensity would diminish too much from the height I intend to fly up to. Try searching from down here. Maybe you'll catch something I miss from up high," he offered with a smile.

Narrator: (( Lolll. )) The group's consensus seemed to be to stop for camp, maybe start a fire and rustle up some dinner instead of munching on berries the whole day.

As if the mountains heard their cries, there was an indentation in the rocky surface near where they were now. The ground was packed dirt, as if many travelers before them had frequented this spot. Not very comfortable. It was much like a cave, except a lot more shallow and at least the wind wouldn't be nipping at their faces the whole night, should they decide to rest there.

There was also the alternative possibility of resting outside on the soft field of grass, a few paces away from the cave. However, there was nothing to shield them from the wind, which had begun to pick up now that it was growing dark.

(( Someone should discover the possible stopping areas, then decide where your character will sleep. They do not need to stay as a group. ))

Juno sniffed in derision and turned her back on the Shuppet trainer. Another girl, this one with a Murkrow, caught her attention when she asked if anyone had a Fire-type Pokémon. The tall woman clacked over to her and held up the lantern in which Desdemona rode, currently staring intently at the rising moon. "I have a Litwick here," she announced. "Desdemona could get a fire going."

The Doduo squawked as it looked about, trotting after Jack as she looked, glad noone was stopping her per-se, and she flicked her light. A patch of exposed grass (Doduo was getting excited about that!), or a cave nice and warm.

"Soooo. Dirt cave or grass." She looked back.

"HEY. THERE'S TURF TO ZONK HERE!"

....

Well. Now Jack had to argue with the Doduo. and she sighed, coaxing the creature to try following her into the cave, hoping a Zubat wasn't going to fly out. The Doduo squawked and objected, but Jack camped in by the door, and the Doduo curled with her for heat as she fed it some nuts, nibbling some jerky herself, wishing for a poffin. Duskull flit over, nuzzling in to sleep itself, making small noises as Jack's doduo did, the bird yawning large, and then nestling up after eating happily. Jack simply motioned. Anyone who wanted warm Doduo fluff (if the scent could be tolerated) and dried meat was welcome.

Keria nodded to Shaun. "Good luck on your flight. Voltron flash!" she cried as she tossed the emolga into the air.

Voltron waited until he was above everyone before he used flash, he didn't want to accidentally blind anyone the little emolga glided along for a while before the wind simply became to much for him to deal with and he was forced to land on Keria's hat.

The trainer continued her fast paced hike up the mountain until she found a spot that looked good. It was a large grassy area which meant there was less of a chance of anyone rolling of the cliff in the night as she moved closer she noticed that there was a cave like indent as well. "Good job Voltron lets get back to the others now." She turned and quickly headed back to the group.

Nobody seemed to object to him flying up for a look, so Shaun said, "I'll go scout around, then. Let's fly, Salvo, but be careful of the take-off." Then he sat up and wrapped his legs carefully around his pokemon's neck, holding on to the pokemon with one hand and his camera with the other.

Salvo stepped a bit to one side to give himself room, then jumped into the air, beating his wings hard. He rose slowly, and to one not used to seeing it, it may have looked like his leafy fronds wouldn't be strong enough for the task. But he ascended steadily until he could catch the rising wind, which helped carry him onward.

Shaun and Salvo both looked around for a suitable campsite, Shaun looking mainly for a field or other open space. He was particularly looking for some kind of steam or water source, since that would make food preparation much easier. But he saw a grassy field first, which looked like it might do as a campsite. Directing Salvo to get closer, he inspected the area. The ground looked sound enough, though it might get windy with no cover. Still, it would do, and the grass provided food for any grazing pokemon anyone might have.

They returned to the group, and as they landed Shain reported, "I found a grassy clearing over that way," pointing in the direction. "It could get windy, but the ground seems sound."

Keria got to the group a little after Shaun did. "I think i found the same grassy area you did, there is a cave like area not to far from it that would provide shelter from the wind." She reported.

"Oh, time to stop?" Fifi asked in relief. Her meowth squirmed free from her arms and darted away into the night. "Oh no, not again! Kitty!" Fifi looked around, big blue eyes worried. "Will someone help me go find Kitty? I don't want to go alone," she asked.

Keria turned hearing someone ask for help. "I can go with you, if you'd like." She offered to the other girl. "I'm sure it hasn't gone too far."

"A fire would be good, as long as we can find somewhere safe and out of the wind to light it," Dora said, acknowledging the lady with a litwick with a tight smile. Hearing Jack call out, she sent her Doduo in that direction, dismounting it and leading it closer to the not-quite-cave. "Harder turf or more wind, which do you think?" she asked the bird, which seemed divided on the subject itself, if the way the two heads had started trying to go in opposite directions meant anything.

As for Mordred, he was going wherever his shiny-holder was going. Dora had no say in the matter in his little birdie mind.

"Oh, thank you!" Fifi said gratefully, hands clasped in front of her chest. "Kitty is new, and she keeps running off! Oh, my manners! I'm Fifi, nice to meet you!" she said.
