It had been like she was holding her breath, expecting the end.
Sighing outward, she watched as the two kings exchange words and blows, the cryptic words of the Silver King echoing through her, making her set her jaw after the copy of Mengyao left to start battling for a country that didn't exist, in a world made up by . . . someone.
Growling out her frustrations, she summoned her bow - not the weapon she was given at the beginning - a small lithe rapier that, now that she thought of it, seemed foreign to her hands. She was tired of pretending. Hearing the sound of ripping, she turned to see the Chieftess tearing up her dress, and with a soft, pointed look, Lifen bent down and took an arrow, ripping at the edge of the dress, exposing her legs a little more and making it easier for her to manuver as the archer she was, the Artisan.
Shame her legs didn't look the same. Oh well.
"No dilly-dally. We know what we must do," She stated shortly, looking back at Kiwi and Lan. "We go for him, finish this nightmare. Then we reset. Hm?" She offered, before almost rushing to step in line with the taller woman.
"It is an honour to go in to battle with you all. She finished, giving them all a look, following Shaheen.

She accepted the symbol with no further doubt or hesitation and when the surge of miasma had changed her completely, Ligaya joined the others.

Gold eyes stared as the events unfolded, followed by a long, unladylike groan. "Nothing involving him is ever easy is it?"
The undressing of Shaheen and Lifen got a mildly amused look before Lan shrugged. She was fine. Then again, she was used to layers and layer and layers and layers in battle. "If he kills me again I'm not going to let him live it down." Following after Shaheen and Lifen she paused to look at Kiwi.
".... You really do look quite nice dressed like that by the way." And then Lan was off.

For the time, Kiwi was perfectly content to watch how things would unfold. And unfold they did. The Silver King's appearance was entirely unexpected, and the horseman found he could only watch as the false image of Mengyao was stripped of something ... For a moment, he wondered what effect that might have on the true Mengyao ...
His eyes met the others, and once again no words needed to be said. It was time.
He watched them one by one reclaim their identities as they filed from the kingdom to the battlefield, and nodded an understanding as each left, a bold new warmth to his eyes. They were together. And together they would find a way to finish this.
Lan's parting statement however, took him momentarily by surprise. She wasn't one to mince words. He glanced down to the rich crimson and gold cloth. It was fine enough to grace any Conquest noble. But he was neither of Conquest, or a noble. Even in this realm. A soft smile tweaked across his lips. "I am sorry to disappoint you Lan-"
The cloth parted with a shriek, a noise that would have likely made Lan flinch ever-so-slightly had she still been standing there. The cloth, now torn, was wrapped about his waist and securely knotted, so that it fell from his golden undergarments to the front and back alike. Just as his usual attire was worn.
"-I am a horseman of Famine, and it is time we show the enemy what true horsemen are made of."
He eyed the fan in his hand a moment, and considered flinging it aside. But it could still prove quite useful, and he had taken a liking to it ...
Some things, could be adapted to. He gripped the fan tight and strode through the exit.

Kashiyoru simply chuckled. He knew, no matter what Molan said, he was going to do something reckless and stupid when it came to his new special someone. But he smiled as Molan walked on ahead, taking a bit to enjoy the view. If it truly was the last time. With a soft sigh he heaved himself up and walked slowly behind him. ((Exit))

Off to battle. All of them.
With hesitations rising in the back of her mind, she swallowed the nausea down once more as she followed her Emperor into battle.

She didn't move an inch. Just sat there, wide-eyed and frightened as a babe as something - someone - struck at her emperor. And she, who had found an odd burst of courage enough to join the ranks, stood by and did absolutely nothing.
It didn't matter that she was clearly outclassed. It mattered that in the vacuum of her mind where fight or flight had turned to freeze, she didn't even think to move and defend His Highness.
Despicable. She had no honor left. The flowers she had brought were wilted and gone and forgotten and useless.
But useless or not, she had one more chance to try and win it all back. For her sake. For her kingdom's sake.
She was too proud to accept defeat so easily.

She did not remain around the kingdom very long once their Emperor had made his choice. Fini just took a deep breath and walked forth proudly, ready to fight for her kingdom.
She never saw the mini battle that took place before hand.

Mjoll listened at first as one by one they all left. Soon she'd be the only one left. Pulling her eyes up from her arms eventually she watched Lifen, Kiwi, Lan, and the others as they walked out to the battlefield. No one would miss her, she could just stay here... right?
No.
No that wasn't what being a gold was about. Granted at the moment she didn't feel very much like pride as it was. Mjoll closed her eyes and took a deep breath trying to pull up what was left of her dignity. She mentally tried to dump all that pain and angst she felt right into the heart of her pride and turn it from a pride in her kingdom to an angry pride. A pride which would serve her to the end...
She just hoped it'd be quick.
With one last deep breath the Gold Kingdom craftsmith marched out onto the battlefield.

He was warm. Senga was always warm, or maybe his very presence was just a comfort for her. “And you too,” she mumbled into his shirt as she buried her face into his chest. Slender arms wrapped around Senga’s shoulders and pulled him as close as possible to her. Jay breathed in his familiar scent just before she pressed her lips to his cheek. “Don’t leave me,” she murmured, but as her eyes narrowed at the king with the silver crown she repeated it a second time, quieter and more urgent. “Don’t leave me.”
Narrowed eyes stared at the spear before she released her hold on Senga and tugged him away. “We have to follow, Senga.” Grim determination as she took out a dagger, which she spun around in her hand idly. “For our kingdom.”
