Mel nodded. "I get really quiet when I get angry. But I'm usually quiet and reading." she said. She ate a few more bites. "Does James realize a lot of what he does drives me away?"

Mel smiled softly. At least he wasn't doing it in purpose. She looked at the table, and noticed her heightened eyesight let her see the wood and its grains much better. It looked beautiful. This was something she had to get used to. Being able to see farther away. She used to have to wear contacts at school, and glasses at home. She had remembered at some point the first day she woke up, to take them out. She had nowhere to put them, but it was safer to have slightly blurry vision than have her eyes infected. At least now she woudln't ever need glasses or contacts again.

She scraped the food into the trash she didn't eat. Only to wash the dishes. Waiting on Mel to finish up eating or say she was done. She knew James would take a while to get all the food and such. So he would still be out for a while longer. Maybe she could put a comedy in and go back talking to her friend online. She thought that seemed like a good idea.

Mel finished, and scraped what she didn't eat in the trash, and washed her own dish. She wasn't sure what to do. Athena chose something, and Mel would agree. She looked at the floor, still feeling powerless, like a human. Probably from being caged so long.

She was done with her own dishes when Mel washed hers. Noticing the girl's timidness, she sighed out loud. "Mel' what if we go for a small run? We've got about six acres of land and the fences are about, ten feet high. So hunters can't get onto it, well that easily.", she suggested. Even her human skin was a cream pale color. If she sun bathed it was as a tiger to prevent being sunburned and well tanned.

Mel looked up. "Sure. Will we be able to transform without being noticed?" she asked. Melanie was bad judge of distance. She always had been, and couldn't look at something and judge if it was three or six feet away from her. She was still happy at the idea of transforming and running.

Smiling a bit she ruffled Mel's damp hair a bit. "Don't worry, we've got trees covering us from neighbors. And even they're weres. Why else would you not be reported to the police?", she asked. She gone to her room and stripped her clothes. Only to put a silk knee long robe on. Then she tossed Mel one. "I'll be getting some stuff out.", she said.
With her robe tied she slipped on sandals and gone to the barn. Some noises were heard by were ears. Soon enough about three foot big round hard plastic balls were being rolled out. Followed by a couple of life sized deer dummies. Which was placed randomly on the six acres. Being a were never hurt with speed and muscle. Even some hard plastic balls that were a foot or two round was on the ground. In case if Mel did not want to tackle the big ones.

Mel smiled at that. When she was given a silk robe, which she changed into before getting tossed outside. She watched Athena placing things around. She wanted to transform and run.

Returned to the back door and took the robe off. She hung it on a nail. Then running a few steps she shifted. And stretched in her tiger form. Only before running around like an over sized kitten and playing with the balls. Followed by tackling a dumb deer which was already partly shredded. In a way a tiger would sneak up on their pray.

Mel took off the robe, and transformed without a second thought. She ran, and attacked the ball, not going for the deer yet. For now running could satisfy her, along with the ball. She also played like an oversized kitten. Felt like one too. It was so weird how she loved this when she's never been interested by the 'great outdoors' before.

She finished with the fake deer. As she swatted a big ball around and chasing it. Then she playfully knocked Mel's away from her. Only to knock it back to Mel. Clearly playing 'catch' shifted version. Now hyperily she paced back and forth. Followed by some how chasing her tail in a circle. After a moment of becoming dizzy she stopped and laid down.

Mel had been doing everything from trying to balance on top of the ball, to going under it and batting it up. Eventually she started batting it so it'd roll away, and she'd pounce on it. Suddenly Athena knocked it away, and passed it back to her. She smiled as best she could when Athena chased her tail. She knew her facial expressions weren't the same, and certainly didn't look the same as a cougar. She sat next to Athena, wondering if she still wanted to play catch with the ball.

James LeonHe was finally on his way back. Soon enough he was up the drive way. Once his truck was turned off he got out. Closing his door he gone to the back seat to grab some of the bags with food. Laying there she panted a bit. As she rested and looked at Mel. Not bothering to get up she rested. Since she would look like a drugged tiger trying to walk if she tried to. Once the spinning slowed down she got to her feet. Upon hearing a truck and a single door close. She knew it was James.
