Misty smiled wryly as she returned her Pokemon and walked up to Koras. "Not bad, cutie. All right, here it is - the Cascade badge." Koras beamed happily as he took the Badge, putting it in his pocket with his Boulder Badge. Misty then smirked. "And this is a little present from yours truly." With that, she gave Koras a quick peck on the lips, causing the boy's eyes to bulge comically in shock; sure, it wasn't a make-out session or anything like he'd done with Lilian the other night, but it was still pretty damn shocking... so much so that he obviously didn't notice when Misty slipped a piece of paper containing her phone number into his pocket. Of course, he didn't really register anything at the moment other than the fact that he wouldn't have to worry about Team Rocket anymore, because Lilian was probably going to kill him... slowly and painfully.
Misty then smiled to Lilian as if she hadn't just been blatantly flirting with the girl's boyfriend. "Now, just let me go get my Pokemon healed, and I'll be right with you, okay?" With that, she exited the Gym.

Koras frantically tried to communicate that he hadn't WANTED Misty to kiss her, and the only reason he hadn't stopped her was because he hadn't been expecting it, and that he only liked Lilian that way and wasn't interested in the Water-type Gym Leader and that he was SURE she didn't want to leave their future kid without a father and PLEASE DONT KILL ME!
...Seriously, the poor guy was even waving his arms around frantically and crying anime tears.

Koras relaxed, calming down as he kissed her right back. At the mention of Cadaver of all people being a father, though, his hand flew up to hide a huge grin, and he let out a snort of laughter before he managed to get himself under control again, though only barely.
A friendly Cadaver, he could see. Cadaver as an uncle, still a possibility. Cadaver as a FATHER?
Darkrai itself would probably get nightmares just thinking about that particular possibility.

Koras paled drastically and instinctively crossed his legs, obviously now even more glad than before that he hadn't accepted Misty's bold offer as he nodded quickly in understanding, kissing her back before sitting down.
Misty returned soon after, smiling to Lilian. "All right, let's get started, shall we?" She headed to her side of the arena, waiting for Lilian to do the same.

Misty smirked. "All right, come on out, Staryu!"
The Staryu came out of its Poke Ball, its single eye meeting Psy's own eyes calmly.
"Now, Staryu, start off with Water Gun!"
The Staryu complied, blasting Psy with a perfectly aimed Water Gun.

Or at least, that was the plan; however, Staryu managed to blast a Water Gun at the wall just in time, using the recoil from it to push it back against the Confusion's force, slamming it right into the teleporting Pokemon's face if it didn't dodge in time.
"Good work, Staryu; now, Rapid Spin!" The Water-type complied, becoming a spinning buzzsaw as it headed toward Psy once more.

Fortunately, the attack worked this time, Staryu getting slammed hard against the wall. However, it still had plenty of fight in it.
"Now, Staryu, Bubblebeam!" A stream of bubbles blasted toward Psy before it could react, slamming into the Psychic-type repeatedly.
Koras watched the battle, mentally cheering for Lilian since, well, he couldn't do so verbally.

And that was enough to knock the Staryu out, the starfish Pokemon slumping to the floor.
Misty smiled as she returned her Staryu. "Impressive, but let's see if you can pull off a repeat performance! Go, Goldeen!"
Golden appeared in the water as Misty waited for Lilian to decide whether to call out her next Pokemon or leave Psy in. The water-type Gym Leader even smirked and gave a flirty little wink to where Koras was sitting.
