It's kinda late,a nd today I was....well busya nd took naps throughout the day.

Chapter 7: Riku Steps Up A Plan Like Everyone Else

Riku hated reading romance novels. He did really, but there was something so addicting about them. Even if it was all mushy, and gushy.

'I love you Ian'
'I love you too Sophie, so much'

He guessed the reason he liked them so much was because he wanted his own love life to be like this. Oh how he would give anything to have this scene on a field confessing their love and kissing one another deeply and passionately, with Sora. How he'd give anything to just have Sora say three words to him..

And even though Riku cherished the kiss they had shared, Sora was still denying everything. Why couldn't Sora just admit he loved Riku. Riku had done it, so why couldn't Sora?

'Because he's so innocent and naiive...' Riku chuckled at that.
Maybe he should do something? Like..make Sora jealous.
It was clear to him he would never let anyone have Sora. Not Axel, not Roxas, no one. Sora would be happiest with him, and Riku could provide more than enough for Sora.

Hm, now that the thought came to mind, Riku did consider making Sora jealous. This would awaken Sora's feelings and he'd confess to Riku, and they'd both kiss and everything. Happily ever after?
For Riku that was all he needed to have his fairy tale: Sora.

Now who would he get to make Sora jealous? More importantly a boy or girl? A girl maybe. He couldn't ever think of kissing another boy that wasn't a certain cute brunette. Who he had shared secrets with; who he had giggled to when sleeping in bed; who he had played with and teased; who he had..

Gah! Riku placed the pillow over his face, trying to stop his thinking. Poor Riku had it bad for Sora. A cute bad.

DING-DOONG

Yukita jumped up a little as she had been attentively listening to Amora's plan. Well..developing plan.

Amora got up, and asked, "Who is it?"

"It's me Sora...ma'am..."

"Sora?!" Amora opened the door, startled.

Once inside the little comfortable living room, Sora could see his mom seated on a desk. He gave a sheepish smile. "Umm...."

"And what are you doing here?" Yukita asked, in a neutral voice. Whatever he answered would either make her mad or happy.

"I ..felt like seeing Riku.." Sora said softly.

His mother just nodded, and let it go. She'd ask about it later.

"He's upstairs. " Amora said, and gave him a wink before sitting on the chair beside Yukita.

"Thanks!" And Sora skipped every other step happily, heading to Riku's room.

The girls listened until the door closed.
"What do you think happend?" Amora asked.

"Axel, Roxas, ...Something to do with them flirting. My guess is that Sora likes Axel too and doesn't want to share him."

Amora nodded, and stared at Yukita. "What about my son? What are Sora's feelings for him? No offense, but if Sora likes another I don't want Riku to wait forever..."

Yukita gave a small smile. " Sora loves Riku. He just needs to find it out himself. How? I don't know..You know sons' are a lot complicated.."

"But they're worth it. Especially are weird ones." Amora said, giggling.

Yukita laughed. "That's true! Now as for Roxas..I think I can get Axel to do a little deal with us. It won't hurt them of course. I don't want to hurt Axel, he's a nice boy and real cute too."

Amora nodded, laughing lightly. "Yes he is. I've heard of him a lot," she stressed the words with her fingers, " from Riku"

"Oh you should have seen that day he was outside bugging Sora. It was funny and adorable! I swear I want that boy to find his love as well...Say what if it's Roxas?"

"Could be. I mean everyone has one. And one day Roxas will find that person, and will be fragile too. That's when he'll realize what he's done all these years, and he's what 17?! My god.." Amora explained, panting.
That was Amora a real romanticist. Like her son.

"My god is right. But yes Roxas will be fragile. Hm? I wonder if I can get his number..."

And what would she do?

"Sora!"

Riku looked so happy, and his eyes glittered with pure love that Sora found himself blushing even when a comment wasn't said. He gave Riku a shy smile, and sat on his bed.

Riku didn't complicate himself with decorations. There was very little in his big room; a table, chair, posters, and a bed. Sora had a lot more, like his little ships that he built when he was a kid, or his boxes he named to put toys in, and well..a lot more. No wonder he never kept it clean. And Riku liked Sora's room better!! Why? He didn't have a balcony like Riku's. But he was flattered that Riku did.

"So Sora...why the sudden visit? And skipping school too? Not that I mind.." Riku said, staring at Sora attentively. He tried real ahrd to hide the book he was reading. The las thign he needed was Sora making fun of him.

"I just wanted to be with you..." And suddenly, Sora placed his head on Riku's chest. "I just couldn't take it...."

'Oh Sora..you have no idea how badly you kill me..' Riku was melting at Sora's cute antic trying hard to kick the book under his bed without startling Sora. But Sora saw the movement, and stared suspiciously at the object. It took a while before he figured what it was.

"Riku?"

"Eh? Yeah what is it Sora?" Even his anme sounded beatiful as the word love. Or maybe he had been reading that story waay to long.

"You read roamnce novels? Hee. Hee." Sora's voice was so seductive, Riku was starting to get scared.

"They are well-written" Riku tried. Sora gave him a face, and Riku just smirked.

Sora blushed, and looked down on the book before picking it up.

" Sophie had never seen such a beautiful day. The sun was glittering magestically, and the perwinkle sky could only be adored by the townspeople. Birds were chirping down below in a birdpond, and she sighed at the sight. What made everything ten times better was she had dreamed about Ian again.

A kiss she would always dream of. So passionate and firey. She loved how rough his mouth was when she kissed him."

"And you call this excellent writing. I mean, yeah it's good, but Riku...why a love story?" Sora asked, rasing an eyebrow. It couldn't be, because of Sora could it?

Riku blushed slighty, and leaned closer to Sora. He sighed. "I just do. I just do Sora."

Those words made Sora wonder more. Was it because it reminded him of Sora in some way? Most likely.

"Riku?"

"Yeah.."

But Sora didn't answer, not with words anyways. he gently placed his lips on Riku's cheeks and gave him a slow, chaste kiss. He liked Riku a lot, but was it love? And what of Axel? Didn't he like Axel too? But Axel had Roxas now, so Sora could have Riku and be happy.

When the kiss was done, Sora giggled as he saw Riku's cheek red. "I just wanted to do that.."

Riku smiled at him. "And I loved it....could I return the favour?"

Sora cheeks matched Riku's cheeks, and he slowly nodded. Why not?

Riku smiled again, in that heart melting way, and he gently pressed his lips on Sora's soft cheeks. They were so sweet and warm. And cute even.
But Riku stil had many things to think about, like the person who'd he get to make Sora jealous.

"Deymx?"

Demyx gave a cheery smile. "yes Roxas?"

"Can I sit here? Or more, can you move? I'd like to sit by Axel?" So Roxas had given up and decided that sitting next to Axel would make him concentrate more on the classwork. Besides Mrs. Heart did say partners were allowed.

'I think I might actually-NO!'

"Sure. I'll just sit ove there. No sweat Roxie. "

Roxas pouted. "Don't call me Roxie." It was a warning.

"Fine. Take it easy blonde. Not still upset 'cause I'm not interested in you? This school is different you know. They are much choosy on who they like. But for some reason the girls adore me, why woudl that be?"

"Like I care. Just go. "

Axel smiled at the sight. Roxas could be so..cute? Right? Well if you liked the baby cheek, tough blonde type. He decided to try something.

"Say Please Roxie. No one likes bad manners. Got it memorized?"

Roxas made a face. He'd never say please, never. Nothing could make him say it.....

"Guess I'll ask Demyx to be my partner..."

....Except that. "Please Demyx..could you move..." If it was an anime show, Axel swore fire would be coming out of Roxas's eyes.

Demyx seemed satisfied, and left without another word, but a wink.
So that left Axel and Roxas alone.

"You realize we have to work together?" Roxas asked, "And that means you'll have a mean partner...."

Axel smirked. "Oh but I can tame the mean partner. Would you like to hear how?"

And to Axel's surprise, Roxas was blushing. A faint blush but there.

"No. And I won't be nice to you no matter what." Roxas said, trying to figure out why he was so nice to Axel, and why Axel liked him. Sora would be all pouty and hurt. But Axel....liked it? He liked Roxas's attitude.
Thats' when he felt hot bretahe on his cheek.

"You never are...mister Roxie..." Oh mind games. Crap. Axel had sounded so seductive right now. Roxas gulped.

"Just shut up, and let's work on the project." If he kept thinkign about Axel this way, he'd have a broken heart again. Just like he did with Irvine. he had given his heart to him, and it turned out Irvine just wanted a ******** toy, a.ka. Roxas. After that Roxas had changed....

"Whatever my Roxie says."

Somehow Roxas liked that thought. Axel's Roxie.

The next day...

So Cloud thought the new teacher Leon was attractive. Hell he was very attractive.

Dame attractive.

But that didn't mean Leon was all that likable. he was reserved,a nd done right quiet. He could barely keep a conversation going with that man. The most Leon had said was- " If the students don't care about their grades, neither will I. That's why i don't pressure them to handin anything" -which was logical, but really a few words were not enough for Cloud.

He loved to chat with the teachers. They liked him (especially the Principal Sephiroth) ,a nd he liked them back. But Leon would bring challenges.
Well Cloud liked challenges. Heh.

"Keep smirking to yourself, and you'll scare the students Mr.Strife."

"Cloud. Just call me Cloud, Leon.."

Leon glanced at him from head to toe, and smirked. "Like tight clothes or something?"

"As if your one to talk, you wear tight leather jeans don't you?" Cloud retorted, not at all liking this guys' attitude.

That made the creepy smirk grow. "And you noticed. Huh? What else should I know?"

"Nothing."

"Hey I'm only trying to talk about other stuff that isn't about school. Like I care about the school. I hate teaching, but if some kid likes me then why not. And they'll learn something valuable from me" Leon explained, drinking his coffee.

"And what is that?" Cloud challnged. He was the best teacher, not Leon.

"That's all I'll say." And with that leon left, leaving aa annoyed Cloud.

Leon had to admit Cloud was cute. And that he was attractive, but a relationship could never work. So why try.

"Sora....Sora..."

Sora opened his eyes, not sure where he was. For a moment he thought he was kidnapped.

"Sora.."

"Riku?"

A giggle. "No silly it's your mom...."

"Mom?!" That woke him up. "Where am I?"

Yukita laughed, and ruffled her son's hair. "You fell alseep with Riku was telling you a story...Amora woke him up, and he brought you here with me. Oh and your in our house."

Sora smiled shyly, thinking about poor Riku waking up, and lifting him up to the house.

"What time is it?"

"Oh eight a.m...."

"Gah! I'm gonna be late!"

Yukita laughed, and made him rest on the bed again. "I'll let you stay today but only 'cause you amde Riku so so happy...So go back to sleep.."

'So I can make a phone call...to Roxas...'

God someone kill me......

"Hello?"

"Hey Kairi, it's me Riku...I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?" Someone please kill me.....

"RIKU!! REALLY?! Of course!! You'd give me a great reputation,a nd no one would dare laugh at me. I'll be popular forever. yes. Yes I will. But you have to do what I tell you.."

"No. I'll do what i want to, or else no Riku boyfriend." He was not gonna listen to her.

"But it won't work if-"

"NO!! I'll do what I want or else we're breaking up right now...!!"

"Fine."

"Wait!," Riku shouted making sure she heard, "But keep it a secret. Or else no deal."

"Huh? Why?" Came the annoying voice.

"Because I want it out at a certain time..." Riku didn't want to hurt Sora. He had a feeling Sora was hurt because of Axel and Roxas, and it wouldn't help if he hurt Sora too.

"This is because of Sora isn't it..."

How the hell did she-oh wait Demyx..right.

"Yeah it is. Problem?"

"Nope! If I can get a kiss from you than no no problem!! See ya tomorrow Riku!" And with that a beeping noise was left.

And Riku was left worried, and regretting. But it was for Sora. Besides he had a date in two days.

"Axel I have a prepostion for you..." said a voice on the other line, and Axel listened. This was Sora's mom, and she was telling him too...

"Roxas....I love you...."

"Axel...I-I can't...."

Axel came closer, and lifted Roxas's chin. And before either of them knew it, Axel kissed Roxas. A chaste, firey kiss.

"Axel...I..."

Roxas shook his his head as he marched on the sidewalk. Last night's dream had confused him badly. Was he falling for Axel? He couldn't...He wouldn't!! But every part of his body told him he did.

This could only bring problems....

Like the fact that the whole school knew about Roxas's crush, thanks to Yuffie. Roxas still didn't know it, but when he did he'd be pissed off.
Or worst.
