James turned his head to Kouen, his brother was always the quite the gentlemen when they weren't sparring or poking fun at each other. Those two years with him made into a brother that James never knew he wanted. "Spoken like a true Zaibatsu lap dog, Leo." he said to his brother sounding nonchalantly slowly turning his head back to Xenon and leaning back in the chair folding his hands and laying them on his chest. He sensed his father's energy nearby, he wondered if he had knew that he was back in the city. He knew soon that they would fight. A battle. Just to see where each other stood. Were they evenly matched or did James have a lot more to learn? Soon he would find out.

⎾ Xenon looked up to see Kouen and James arrive to his office and took a few steps inside. Approaching him like as if nothing was the matter. Well it seems some things do not change after 2 straight years, especially with their attitudes. Welcome Kouen and James. I see that you both have made quite the progress in your leave. His eyes dimmed when he began to bring up their absence. You both and another left under unknown circumstances without any consult with anyone in the Authority. Quite a bold move to play I suppose, especially when the CEO had gone unconscious. Xenon took a moment to let silence arise until he began to continue speaking. However, right now is not the time to move onto what you will receive for leaving, we have a bigger issue going on right now that needs to be taken care of.
Xenon remembered the Diviner family as they appeared in his mind. Ellie, Derek and Eighth Diviner. For 17 whole years, I kept the truth from an individual who you both know pretty well. This individual has a very dark yet extremely serious power that can grow to unimaginable and unbearable means. By keeping it a secret from everyone, including him it would maintain peace for the Zaibatsu as a whole and keep away any harm or danger for anyone who may have bad blood against the family. Derek Diviner, your classmate who have left alongside you both has not returned home yet. It is under suspicion that Derek may have gone to Arkham and head straight for Doma, the very organization that brought the Zaibatsu to its knees years ago. Xenon took a pause for a bit to allow James and Kouen to rebuttal or speak up. ⏌

As Xenon gave the shocking news, James leaned up in his seat and gave his CEO his full attention. "Do we know why he went to the Doma? Sure, Eight was the leader, but you don't think he's going to carry out his legacy do you?" James asked. He may have not been close to Derek however he was still a comrade, and a comrade is a comrade. Derek what're you up to? James thought to himself. He then sensed a familiar presence. His father and with him an unfamiliar one. "Hm?" he said under his breath.

Zaibatsu Admin _____________________________ Jamarr opened the doors of the CEO's office. He held it open for Rose before he himself entered. He then waved his hand once for Xenon to notice that he was in the room. "Yo." he said simply. He then turned his glance to his son, then to Rose. Jamarr then turned his attention to Xenon again. "Sorry if we are intruding on anything, Xenon." He then found a wall to lean on as did so, then slowly crossing his arms he spoke once again. "I couldn't help but hear from the conversation from outside. So Eight's boy is in Doma territory, eh?" Jamarr asked the CEO. Jamarr's mood didn't seem to change. Change never was his forte'.

⎾ I don't know for sure, however I cant turn down the possibility. Xenon stated with his hands crossed and held in front of his jaw. If Derek does go to Doma and somehow allies with that organization, it could bring a serious danger to us all. The capabilities of his power is still unknown but he is still a Zaibatsu resident and warrior, just like the both of you. Xenon released his hands as he looked down to his information on Derek and his parents that are on his desk. Now your new assignment comes in next.. ⏌

Rose slowly walked in past Jamar as she stared at a room of strangers. Her eyes went from Xenon, to Kouen, than to James. There was no doubting that was her son. His read hair was a dead giveaway. She wanted to hold her son, to embrace him, but how would he feel? Did he want her too. So she stood, waiting his response to he lively presence.

" [¤*-Kouen Leonard-*¤] Rise of the Phoenix   As Xenon proceeded to go over just how bold a of a move leaving the Zaibatsu without notice or permission was; the Phoenix could not help but crack a rare smirk. Thanks to James's influence over the year, he generally enjoyed chafing under the rules and being somewhat unconventional in such matters. It was a long-standing issue of his that had extended into when he was younger. He joined the Divine Force mainly out of his need for revenge, but also because of what others had spoken to him for. 'Don't join the Divine Force. It's the toughest branch and you'll get yourself killed!', they had said. Fine. So he would bring it back to its former glory that it had once lost. He couldn't say he regret what they did but their CEO quickly stated there were far more important matters to attend to. Raising an eyebrow as Xenon proceeded to explain Derek's true heritage and the grave danger he could possibly hold, Kouen maintained his neutral expression. He and James had figured out Derek's legacy years prior and discussed it at length a few times. Those of his blood tended to be the very Game changer; the key to the overall structure of the system and how it was used. The game and how it was played. But from what their CEO was informing them of, it seemed that Derek intended to return back to the Doma, huh? Wonderfully ironic considering it all but questioning whether what he intendeds to do was irrelevant. Kouen, bluntly, responding with a few questions of his own. " You want us to track him down, interrupt his progress and stop him if need be. Am I correct? But if you'll allow me to speak freely as James had, I simply have one question. How far do you wish for us to go? A mere capture without harm? Whatever goes as long as he remains alive? Worse? I do not know about James, but I can kill him. I can kill him without the slightest hint of remorse or guilt, if need be. For I am nothing but a Phoenix. So go on, Xenon Mirai. Give us your orders. " At the mention of just what he was willing to do to preserve the safety of the Zaibatsu, he had begun to smirk once again. But the smirk was a little more dark, sadistic and overall not something you would expect from Kouen of all people. It seemed so familiar to Xenon, possibly, but also just slightly different. Almost as if another being was sitting right next to him, staring at him with those very same eyes that the former Admin would have faced years prior. But in a way, it was almost as if that same other being was speaking through Kouen--testing him and his new resolve as a leader. Was he truly worthy to command such immensely powerful beings at this point?  " The Zaibatsu and the family I've made within are all I have left. They have shared my joys and my sorrows. I will not allow any harm to befall them. If you try to lay but a finger on their being, I won't hesitate to send you to the Void itself. "

○ - | James | - ○ Eternal Flame of Shinkoku _____________________________ James sat there and listened to Xenon's briefing about the situation, for the moment he was fine, shocked, but fine. He didn't draw anything out till he heard Derek's reason for going to that place. That angered him, the most however. Why would he go there? What reason could there be to go to the very organization that brought the D.Z to its knees? Maybe he WAS trying to follow his fathers legacy, but then again James wouldn't know much about following in someone's foot steps. More questions followed until everything came to a screeching halt as he heard Kouen's remark, it lit a fire inside of him. James emotions seemed to take control of him as he quickly hopped up out of his seat and slammed his fist on the desk, lightly enough to where it wouldn't break hard enough to make the room go silent. "Brother..!" he hissed at Kouen and ignoring everything else in the room. "How can you just say that." he shouted turning his head to glare at him. "He's a friend and a colleague...Not only that we don't know which side he's on so why narrow it done to something so drastic as killing him?" he said more calmly but still backing up much anger with his remark. _____________________________ [OCC: I changed the layout so meh.]

⎾ No that will not be necessary. I am sure that even though Derek's family history and his childhood life of being watched in pure secrecy, he would not stoop to the level of joining Doma. This is his home. It was his father's home, his mother's home and his home. Xenon sighed as he turned around to watch the city. However we can't ignore the possible options from this situation. So now, I'm ordering you both to leave the Zaibatsu once more. This time in search of Derek Diviner, the only spawn of the legendary clan that has started the Zaibatsu. He should not be killed...unless physically provoked. We need him alive, physically able to walk...or not. ⏌

Receiving his mission he pushed his chair back in where it originally was and nodded his head. "Sorry for the yelling, sir. As you wish, Lord Xenon. We'll leave right away.." he spoke more calmly. He finally began to loosen up from Kouen's comment, though it still lingered in his head what he had said. Though it was true James didn't want to think about that. But he was relieved that Xenon hadn't order them to kill Derek. He could kill, he was fully capable. But something about killing a friend, a comrade, a friend since his academy days, just didn't; nor would it ever sit right with him. He then turned to his father and the strange red haired woman. Like the one he had seen before he left. It couldn't be. His mother was dead. He remembered how she appeared to him once before but, he figured it was just his imagination. He did just get done participating in a war, after all. But it was her. He'd recognize that face anywhere. He slowly approached her and quickly hugged her and lifted her up. She was light compared to what he was used to lifting. He put her down and put his hands in his pockets. "Guess this is a bad time for a family reunion, huh?" he joked. _____________________________ [OCC: I changed the layout so meh.]

Eyeing him while remaining silent, he did not respond at first as James claimed that what he had stated was too much and unnecessary. While it was indeed true that Derek had once been their comrade and essentially still was, much had changed since then. Especially with the Intel of the Diviner quite possibly joining the enemy side, Kouen was unwilling to take chances on such a matter. They both had taken a oath to protect the Zaibatsu no matter the cost or personally hardships it would inflict on them. Truly, he would feel no pleasure or satisfaction if he were forced to go up against his rival and taking his life would surely haunt him for many years to come. But he knew his duty, knew that they would not win this war while being hesitant, too slow to react or take risks when necessary. They needed to be as swift, relentless and unwilling to show mercy to the very enemy that slaughtered their families, friends and destroyed their home years prior. A fiery light lit behind Kouen's eyes as his thoughts only became darker, a firm look of steely determination flickering within. To become an Admin would result in him being able to spread his intended ideology throughout the Zaibatsu. he believed that peace negotiations were completely pointless and moot at this point in time. Their only option was to kill the Doma completely, eradicate everything it stood for and crush every last monument and base in its honor to the ground. This had been his life goal since he has been but a child--to claim revenge for what they had done to him so many years ago. Rising from his seat, he could only glance over to James, acknowledging Xenon's orders. " It will be done...as you command. But Brother, do not misunderstand me. I do hope that such a course of events will not come to pass. Killing Derek is not something I am anxious, nor will I ever be, wanting to do. But I will do what must be done to preserve the Zaibatsu and destroy The Doma. It is our duty and what we took up as our honor when we officially joined this organization. But like I previously stated--I doubt this will come to pass. Now let me know when you're done with your family. I will meet you at the Gates to the Zaibatsu. " Sensing that James most likely wished to face his parents alone, he believed it was necessary to give his Brother his privacy. They were his parents, not his. As a result, he felt that he lacked the right to intrude onto his affairs. Stepping towards the door, Kouen slightly smiled as he witnessed his brother embrace the beautiful red-headed woman with an expression that only gave away pure joy and happiness. Walking out, the Phoenix soon left to wait for his brother...and see what Fate had in store for him.[Exit] " The Zaibatsu and the family I've made within are all I have left. They have shared my joys and my sorrows. I will not allow any harm to befall them. If you try to lay but a finger on their being, I won't hesitate to send you to the Void itself. "

the beautiful fiery red haired rose ran her fingers through her thick hair as her eyes met with her sons. What a handsome man he was. A young version of her father, and his soft features were from his mother. She was sad she had missed out on his life, but she was glad to see he had grown to be a strong independent man.
As he hugged her, she embraced her baby in a strong hug, He was so tiny the last time she held his body, but now, a man was in her arms. Rose took in the moment, of hugging her son. It was almost as they had never met, at least, she was sure it was for James, for he didn't know her, while she knew him.
Rose pressed her lips to his temple before he released her from his hug. It was indeed not a good time to be reuniting. This was a time of war, and now as Rose understood it, they had to find a dear friend and stop him from betraying them possibly.
Rose looked over at Jamar and smiled lightly.

He had to be ready for anything that would transpire if he and Kouen had to apprehend Derrek. He also had to be ready to square off with any Doma members that would get in their way. He turned back to his mom and dad. "Sorry guys, I have a mission to attend to. We can hang out when I get back, but this is urgent." he said going back to hug his mom once more, then looked to his father gave a nod. Finally, they were family again, he wished to stay with them both and hang out. He missed the chance as a kid, and now he could as an adult, which was ok . He had to go and finish this mission before he could tend to his personal matters first. He ran toward the exit after Kouen. Knowing that this was going to be one hell of a mission. ⎾ [Xenon nodded as he witnessed both James and Kouen's leave from the office. Looking around to the city he began to drift into his thoughts about those three. Kouen, a member who dreamed of being an admin and would do whatever it took to accomplish such a dream. Then you have James, who just wants to live life and Derek, the one that Xenon has lied to for many years. The thought of them three clashing would quite be hectic. Though he was sure that this likely would not happen. Even though he had lied to the child, he was sure Derek wouldn't join Doma to get back at him. Only time will tell exactly what will happen. ⏌
