Shira knelt down next to Atticus then, staring at him with a blank expression. She gently placed her hand in his then as she looked at what damage was caused. She looked up at Despair then "Let's here it then..." She said as she looked down at Atticus then, her soul wavelength rose slightly.
"I shall choose neither. For I have lost nothing to avenge, and nothing is left for me to protect. I am a shell of a man that walks in solitude, I protect nothing, nor do I care enough to avenge what is gone from this world. The path I choose, is Isolation."
Watching Shira the Shinigami girl took down Atticus, he would stare at the results. Drak heard a familiar voice, it had a strange and yet powerful vocal that surpasses that of a human. Drak turns to see a white being before him. As soon as he saw the white hair and those iceberg eyes. Drak knew who it was, "We meet again Ruler of Reality, it seems fate had something else in mind. For you and I too meet once again...is quite nogalistic" he said sarcastically. "I am the Keeper of Truth, otherwise known asDrak Vlien Ja Gats. I am what I am. Neither of the living nor or of the dead." He faces Sanctum head on and stares at the being that Sanctum became.

Sanctum would walk over towards Michi and Drak, "You seem to be very powerful, I look forwards to seeing what you can do." he would say as he formed a pure white sword in his hand and pointed it at Drak, "I do not usually acknowledge others, but you, you are different. You are something that I wish to take care of with my own hands." Sanctum said as he eyed Drak, "Shall we see what you can?" he asked. Elsewhere the hooded man and Shira would be talking.
Looking down at Shira, the man would sigh, "First thing first, you need to know who I really am." he said as he put his left hand over his face and pulled down his hood. As his hood came down, the man would reveal his slightly spiky, black hair, which was medium length, which seemed rather familiar. Removing his hand from his face, the man would reveal himself to be that of the true Future Atticus. He was identical to Atticus in every way, but twenty years older and with a rather noticeable scar across his left eye. "I'm Atticus." he said as he would then look away, "I am the Atticus of this future and I was the one responsible for creating Sanctum and killing all of your loved ones." Future Atticus would look back at Shira, "Your theory of how this world came to be was nearly correct, but I shall tell you everything."
Future Atticus said as he sighed, "This all started 15 years ago, in this time. Back then, we were still facing off against the three kishins, me, you, Gin, Michi, and all of the others. However, one day the kishin known as Vera, was betrayed by her siblings and abandoned. Wanting revenge against them, she would seek out the help of the only being strong enough to go toe to toe with any one of them and that being was none other than my mentor and father, Divine." Atticus would sigh once more and then continue on. "Seeing this as his opportunity to take out two of the kishins and take control of their army, Divine would agree to aid Vera, much to the dismay of Charlotte. Right now, I too realized that, such a thing was too good to be true, and sadly it was. For when Vera and Divine confronted the other two kishins, he would be betrayed by Vera and would be utterly decimated by the combined might of the three. But just when they were going to kill him, Charlotte would intervene, saving his life by sacrificing her own. Witnessing Charlotte's death right before his eyes, Divine would become consumed with hatred, sorrow, and despair. In fact if it were not for Charl, Charlotte's doll, Divine would have raged through out the land, destroying everything in his path. Luckily, that didn't happen, and she sent him to me and you."
Looking up into the sky, Atticus would seem distracted, "But that is when everything slowly began to change into the future we have now. Divine and I were both overcome with hatred and detest for the kishins who took Charlotte away, so we set out on the path of bloodshed and vengeance. During those three months, we would abandon this world and I would abandon you and our soon to be born child. As we journeyed we both grew stronger and closer towards the darkness, gathering a strong following as we made our way towards the three kishins."
Future Atticus would take one final breath and look down at his past self and Shira, "That fateful day, the day Divine and I, along with our army of demons and witches, confronted those kishins, were the worst days in my life. As our armies faced off against one another, it would be Divine's and I, army that would take the upper-hand, but that all changed when the Kishins took the field and completely annihilated everyone in our army, leaving only me and Divine alive. Seeing this, however, only filled our urge for vengeance and the two of us charged forth to face the three all on our own. That battle lasted for days, neither of us giving an inch, until that one day when I lost the man I had come to think of as a father. After many days of battling, both us and the kishins had grown weary and tired, and so on the last day, we gave it our all, and together me and Divine managed to take out Vera, but sadly, in the process we left ourselves wide open for an attack, in which the other two took advantage of. I was unaware of that, but Divine was, as I killed Vera, i would feel his hand push me away and seconds later I would turn to see that the other two had impaled him in his chest and head. If he had not pushed me, that would have been me that was killed. Seeing this, I would once more lose myself to the madness and darkness, but this time was far greater than another. I wasn't able to handle losing both Charlotte and Divine, so at that moment, I don't know how or why, but my very being was split into two separate beings. One made of my soul, spirit and mind, and the other made of every negative and deranged feeling I've ever had. A being made of nothing but insanity and madness, being from hatred and vengeance and thrives on darkness and sorrow, that is what Sanctum is." Atticus would finish as he looked down at Shira, "Do you wish for me to continue?" he asked.
Shira heard Drak and glanced at him for a moment wondering what the relationship was between the two. She turned her attention to the person in front of her then. She stared at him wide eyed before looking down at her partner then. She held his hand a bit tighter once more. She started to heal the injury that she caused him, but something in her said that it was for nothing most likely. This didn't stop her from healing it. She continued staring at her partner "Continue..." She said simply with a serious expression.
Michi just stayed quiet, her eyes dragged over towards the being hearing him say his name, Drak Vlien Ja Gats. Two person in one? Still having some watery bubbles underneath those orbs of hers wiping them away letting out a small sigh as she glances up to where Sanctum and Frak was, making her way towards Frak standing just a few feet behind him.

"I knew that was going to happen..." spat Eric bitterly as Sanctum's wound healed. Still, he knew he needed to hold of Sanctum for Shira and Atticus's sake. He turned Dara into a throwing star and launched her at Sanctum's face, arcing the spinning blades to try and slash across it.
As Shira's barrier lessened, Harold could feel the madness flooding through his body. "Heh, full Kishin. It's been a while..." he said with a grin. Crackles of electricity arced off of him as he underwent a change.

Suddenly, red fire engulfed Harold, dying down to reveal his full kishin form. "Holy crap Harold..." said Eric, looking up at the nine foot tall monster Harold had become. Madness radiated from him like heat shimmering in the light. Harold flexed his claws, briefly looking over at the future Atticus. "I remember that battle..." he said slowly, a look of anger crossing his face. "You forgot the part where you held back, letting the kishin wear themselves down against us while you waited for the perfect opportunity to strike. You sacrificed us for vengeance. I trusted you." His voice was deeper now, guttural and hard.
Eric looked back and forth between Harold and the future Atticus. "You joined his army?" asked Eric. "We were friends," replied Harold simply, remembering how Atticus and Divine had stood by while Demons and Witches were being slain around them. I would have died as well if not for my own willpower. That's when I realized how much friendship meant to you." There was a bitterness to Harold's voice as he remembered the slaughter. The heat of madness continued to radiate from Harold as he bared his fangs. "You knew I had a family. A wife and children. But you left me to die."

As Michi got closer to Drak, he closed his eyes and imagine how did things become so out of control. Sensing the madness near him he opens his eyes to see Sanctum infront of him. "You must've forgotten...who I really am. But as of things are now, I shall duel with you once again." Sanctum held up a pure white blade made out of madness. Hearing the echoes of cries and agony from the sword, Drak drew his blade to face Sanctum. "Michi, I'll lend you my powers. I want to see how you fight..., your partner Gin said you were quite familiar with the art of swordsmanship." He would reach out to her and merge his powers with her own. Their souls collided as purple/black butterflies surrounds them like a hurricane. Shattering the butterflies, emerge Michi and him in their armor form. Their existence was erased, yet they were still there. It was as if they went beyond the realm to a higher level of power.

Nodding, Future Atticus would then continue on explaining what had happened. "As I said, during that battle I lost Divine. The feeling of losing him caused me to split into two being me, Atticus and the other one was Sanctum." Atticus said as he looked over at Sanctum who was just about to fight Drak, "As Sanctum emerged in that battle, he was a completely different being than he is now. He was arrogant, reckless and bloodthirsty. As he was born, the first thing he did was consume Divine's lifeless body, gaining all his powers and strength. Seeing this, I, admittedly would be afraid of this being and would shake in terror. The kishins, who had observed everything would not react the same, instead they would go on to tease and mock Sanctum, but in the end they would be the ones to suffer. Sanctum would use his newly combined powers to take out both kishins in a matter of minutes. The battle which took me and Divine days to do, would be ended only a matter of minutes. With the last two kishins gone, Sanctum would then turn his attention towards. He would try to absorb me, just like he did Divine, but he could not touch me, for some reason, when the two of us are near each other we cancel out the others power and renders them useless. Sanctum had figured this out, so he then tried to kill me, thankfully it failed cause my death would also mean his death. Seeing me as nothing but a nuisance, Sanctum would leave me there alone and severely weakened. Thinking the worst was behind us, i foolishly decided not to pursue Sanctum and that one lapse in judgement would be the cause of something much greater."
Atticus said as he noticed Shira trying to heal his past self, "It had been many months since the kishins were defeated and the world had become a rather peaceful place, but all of that changed when Sanctum would reveal himself to you all by directly attacking Death City. Sensing the tremendous threat that he would be, your parents along with all of the others' parents, would band together and attack Sanctum using everything in their arsenal to take him down. Actually, they would have been able to when, if Sanctum wouldn't have held you and Riku hostage, along with the rest of the City. Not wanting to see their beloved daughter and granddaughter harmed, your parents willingly gave up their lives to protect. Sanctum would absorb them and become even more powerful, being able to heal his wounds and take out all of the others, one by one. It only took him a few hours to completely conquer Death City. While this happened, I would be off in a distant land still recovering my powers and mind. It would be a year later that I would finally return to Death City, only to be met with what was left. I did not know whether you or our child was alive, or if anyone else was, so in order to ave myself from such heartache i chose to cast away my name and took of that of Despair and from then on, I have been secretly watching you all as you rebuilt the city and started to regain your powers. At the same time, Sanctum and I would meet again, once more, but this time he would be completely different from before, he would be the man we see today. The two of us have been steadily trying g to find a way to kill the other since that time, but neither of us could do it." Atticus said as he finished his story. "In essence, I am the sole cause of this and I will be the death of your family and friends as well."
Looking over at Harold, Future Atticus would sigh, "I am truly sorry, Harold. I didn't mean to cause you any harm. I have been trying to pay for my mistakes by helping you all" Atticus said as be didn't look very broken up or even sad about it. As Atticus talked with the others Sanctum would seem to ignore his words and focused solely on this being in front of him, somehow it would have a power near his level but not too high. "Please try to make this interesting.
Shira healed Atticus completely and stared down at him, not saying anything for a while. "All of this... my parents dying... everything... just for some stupid revenge case?" she muttered as she stared at her partner still. She gripped his hand then as her power suddenly spiked again, trying to get him to wake up.
"I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."

Future Atticus would look down as Shira spoke, "Yes, everything I did: abandoning you and our child, giving in to my hatred, accepting the darkness, even your parents death. All of that was for a stupid little thing as revenge." he said as he would then show a different side of himself then he had before, an being void of any sympathy or compassion. "I cannot apologize enough for my actions, so I will not. After so many years I seem to have forgotten what it is like to be human or what it feels like." he would add as he opened up a portal under Atticus, which began to consume him, "He is far beyond your saving now. Leave him to me." he would say. "Tell me Shira, what have you learned from your time here in this world?"
Shira watched Atticus disappear in the portal, squeezing his hand one more time before letting go. She stood up finally, her wavelength calming down a bit. She looked up at the future Atticus then "I... I have learned how important everything is to me..." She told him before looking at her hand "Seeing what everything is like without you, my family, everything, it makes me understand that things we take for granted will be missed... if that makes sense." Shira smiled slightly at the ground before looking up at him "When we do make it back to our time, I will change it. I know preventing this from all happening seems almost impossible... but if it gives him a better future then it is worth it in the end." She said, referring to Riku. "When our Riku arrives, when all of our children arrive, I want them to have a good future. I want him to have two parents, friends, a family to rely on." she explained "I also want to prevent you from going into the darkness again, you have suffered in it for too long."

Harold narrowed his eyes at Atticus's explanation, but the madness was starting to get to him. He needed to fight soon or he would lose control. He turned towards Sanctum, allowing Atticus and Shira to have their personal moment. Suddenly, red fire raced up Harold's right arm, setting his entire arm ablaze with a hellish light. He held it for a moment, his hand clenching into a fist as he growled deeply. Having an idea of what Harold was going to do, Eric stood back, not wanting to get caught in the blast.
With one motion, Harold forced his arm towards Sanctum, shooting a massive blast of crimson fire towards him. The fire came in a line, cutting through the white-tiled floor as it sped towards him. The heat of the flame liquefied the tiles it passed through immediately, causing molten hot fluid to spray in every direction. Eric grimaced as he felt the ground shake due to the wave of flame. He was stunned by the power increase Harold underwent due to his transformation. It was nothing like the kind of power Harold and he had in their time.
Dara's eyes widened at the sheer magnitude of power Harold had seem to have gotten just from the madness shield being taken off.
"then surround yourself with strong friends, and be number one together."

Atticus would show no visible emotions to Shira's words, "I told you, the future is not set in stone. So you may be able to change it, but one thing is inevitable. I will eventually go back down this road, and you will once again be forced to kill me. That one truth remains." Atticus said as he was then look down at Shira and place the hood back over his face, "i have become like Sanctum, a being that has transcended all others. This will become his fate as well."
Before Sanctum to fight with Michi and Drak, he would be interrupted once more by Harold. Feeling the intense he that his attack was given off, Sanctum would quickly turn to face the fire blast that was heading at towards him. Gathering white energy around his left hand, Sanctum would create a powerful barrier that took the full force of Harold's attack. Once the attack was finished, his barrier would shatter and break down completely. Surrounding his entire body with the same type of energy, Sanctum would then steadily walk towards Harold, suddenly he would vanish in appear in the air above him. Sanctum then released a volley of the white orbs from before.
Harold growled angrily as the shield blocked his attack and teleported above him. As Sanctum fired white orbs at him Harold took a deep breath. In moments Harold had taken and released his full breath. Crimson flames jetted into the air, slamming against the orbs causing them to explode. Flares of red fire and bursts of white energy shot in every direction, momentarily creating a fireworks show of red in white in the air above them. Harold launched himself up into the air towards Sanctum, shattering the tile underneath his paws and he lifted off. Harold made a swipe towards Sanctum in an attempt to claw him with diamond-hard claws.
Eric stood back, not wanting to get Dara close to a fight of this magnitude between such two powerful beings. The levels of madness being given off by each of Harold's attacks felt like nails on a chalkboard in his mind.
