"Mmm sorry no." She rubbed the back of her head lightly. "You gotta play the game to have a chance at one and you gotta wait a bit between tries before you can play for prizes again. It would be kinda unfair to hand them out by the fistful willy nilly." Giving him a small frown. Mei felt bad for saying no especially since he said he wasn't going to be around much, but then she'd get everyone coming at her for bunches of stars without playing the game like they were suppose to. And that was kind of bad for business as one might say. Not that this was really a business as she wasn't making a profit from it.

"I'd have preferred it if you'd just lied to me." He muttered underneath his breath, possibly even too quietly for her to be able to hear. And of course, she was giving him the old people change speech, which he knew already. He still couldn't help but appreciate how hard she was trying, though, to cheer him up or to make things less painful for him. So, he put on a brave face, quirked his lip up in a small half smile, and began to push his way up off of the ground. "Oh, hey Mort." He greeted the other boil, his enthusiasm fairly lackluster. "Uh ya, bored. We can call it that." He reached up to run fingers through his hair as they made their way back over towards the machine, though Mei was quickly snagged up by challengers and was quickly too busy for either of the two zomboils. While Alexander didn't really drink things very often, he accepted the offer of the Croak from Mort, reaching out to take it from him and having a small sip. "Oh you know, it's going. Mei's been getting challenger after challenger and beating them all." He waited until she was finished with this newest competitor and stepped up to the machine, only then did his eyes seem to actually light up a tiny bit. "Okay, Mei. Somebody needs to bring you back down to earth and I think it's going to have to be me. Step on up because a new challenger has arrived." He passed the Croak back over to Mort, and climbed up onto the machine, waiting for Mei to take up his challenge.

Ev was back for more dancin'! Stepping up on that platform again, hiking up her skirt a little to keep it from getting caught, a song was picked, and the game was on.

Yin did one of those ninja dances where it was so fast no one even saw him.
Except the scoreboard, though it was not that impressed.

Sometime before all of the rabo feels Yin ninja'd by and danced again.
Maybe it was not an all-time low, but it was probably pretty close.

Finally she could get a small break. When she rejoined the boils Mei was sad that apparently the Scarecones were closed. But she accepted the offered drink with thanks none the less. From behind the cute she mumbled. "Alex maybe, but not me so much." It was more Alex being kind of depressed than bored, but Mort didn't need to know that. He probably already figured since the other Zomboil was pretty public about it. "Good so far." She grinned, lowering the cup from her face. "Lotsa people challenging me. And me winning." Ego alert. When Alex had issued the challenge, she puffed out her cheeks. "Its not my fault everyone else is bad at DDD. Trying to take me on when I'm tired? Alex how sad to use such tactics to try and win. Try." She emphasized that word. Even so she still had a grin on her face as she climbed up onto the pad once more. "But it's ok. I'll forgive you for trying to get an edge in the game.""Alright, you pick the song. We'll see if you can 'bring me back down to earth'. What do I get if I win though? You gotta make it interesting."

Alex just snorted in response, tapping his foot against the machine as he started to pick out a song...and then instead changed his mind and just hit the random button. Before the song could begin he gave her a reply. "I don't know, what do you want? You already have Mort as your b***h for the day. Sorry bro." He offered his zombro a grin, then turned back to the game as the music began. Let this be a lesson that Alexander should never just hit the random button. What the fresh hell was this song even?? He might have had a very sour expression on his face throughout the entire song. Score: 28

Kiln was attracted by all the shiny lights and throbbing techno music. what was this wonder?
and there were arrowhead everywhere, on the screen on the floor. AND THEY GLOWED TOO! Kiln was one hyper kofeari as he scrambled onto the pad and began to hop on each of the arrows with both of his feet.

Smile? He turned his head towards her and blinked. "I still smile!" He leveled a deadpan look at her, tapping his foot again for yet another random song. This one was just as bad as the last one had been, and he grimaced at the random generators horrible suggestions. Still, he tried to keep up, but now he was contemplating what Mei had asked for if she won. "You know, I'll smile more when I win then if I were to lose." At this rate, he was totally going to lose. Stupid ties. It was the first time she had ever tied with anyone. Just for that comment Alex Mei was going to kick your butt. And she did. Gloriously. No tie this time. It was a moral victory. Alexander rolled his eyes and slumped off of the machine. "So I'll meet you at the cafeteria on Moonday then?" He asked, innocently enough blinking and smiling for all the world as though he was not feeling like absolute crap. He would have challenged her to another dance, but there just didn't seem to be any point. He was unfocused, upset, and even playing is favorite game didn't seem to be able to pull him out of his funk. But time would. He was still depending on time and hopefully once the festival was over, some distance to see him through.
