She was ALMOST THERE... Almost... She could practically see the door, but then she heard somehting flying above her, and felt something even moments after that. The bones flew at her already broken body, hitting her with a force that felt so much worse than anything before. Her skin was still tingling from the fire, her breathing ragged from the flight... but she was not pressed against the floor as the assault from above came.

She had a chance to look up, and around at her flying enemy for a brief moment. Weaker this time, she forced herself to keep moving and NOT attack back. That would be sure-death. She knew her own limits... and this was not a play fight where her spar-ee would take her home afterwords.

Apparently in her flight she got lost, because she was back where she started.

The sound of his name managed to reach him even over the din of battle, and he turned to see Aymet had struck at one of the fleeing hunters who was . . .going in the opposite way. Huh. "On my way!" he yelled back. "Got two - "

Oh wit, no. One. Looked like Mei had managed to find him and knocked the ghoul down before she could escape. Mort sent the jiang shi a wide grin and thumbs up before rushing past Aymet. "Be back in a bit! Leave some for me, yes?"

He traced the bruise looked Hunter to the prison and paused for a moment, almost feeling bad that she had lost her sense of direction so close to the exit. And then the moment passed as he delivered a shock to her system, hoping she was out like a light this time.

Ami screamed as the angry red color spread its way across her skin, first in tiny droplets, then in angry stripes across her skin. It bubbling, hissed as the skin underneath it melted. Black smoke and ash choked her vision and throat as she collapsed onto the ground.

Pain. Her entire body radiated pain, from the very core of her being. It wasn't just the lava. It wasn't just the horsemen's layer. It was the endless torture, the constant reminder that she would always have ugly scars. She was so sick of these creatures not only making more, but shoving them in her face every opportunity that she got.

Not that she could do anything. She slumped onto the ground, Junpei flickering in her hand as she twitched, attempting to get up. She had to run ... she had to ..

Just ... Just hold on.

For whatever reason, the dream hadn't faded to something else. She was weak, but she clutched Junpei, her blackened knuckles going white. Somewhere she could vaguely hear Allan shouting, but it sort of blurred.

Otto booked it. He didn't look at anything around him. This was all in his head anyway. Screw them all! He'd save himself, and wake up in that prison again. Faces and forms flew by, and soon, Otto had found the exit. The portal home. Was it really though? Honestly, he didn't even care. Not a second thought flew by.

He flung himself through, back to Deus. He hoped, somewhere deep inside, that it truly was home.

He was still running around the colosseum, but it looks like he was getting closer to the exit now. That had to count for something right?

Go figure that after hoping that there wouldn't be those who would need help, Deryk would see one of the other hunters get taken out by one of the zombie looking kids.

Wait. What were students doing here? Wasn't this a horseman lair? Well, now wasn't the time to question these things.

"Hang in there," he murmured while limping over and picking her up with a grunt. He needed to work out more. With the girl in hand, he couldn't move too quickly at all.

The ghoul felt accomplished. This had been her first Hunter she'd ever taken down. Sure, Mort had taken a bigger hit before her's. And maaayyybbbeeee the Hunter was weakened from previous things. But it feel none the less like an accomplishment.

She shot a grin at Mort as he scrambled off. "Of course!"

Her gaze soon fell upon another female Hunter. She was slumped on the ground. How weak she was. Sitting about when everyone else was fighting.

Coming up behind her Mei gave her a kick to the back to get her moving. It was not very satisfying if she wasn't fighting back. Or at least fleeing.

Ofelia nodded her head, not really feeling the need to speak. The thoughts Bix seemed to be conveying probably were the same as the reason why she was still there too - they couldn't go back to get anyone but they sure as hell could prevent any horse people from doing serious damage to the exit and blocking it off.

Rue was humming in her head, a battle cry and a demand for FEAR. It was all around her, she could taste it and feel it, so the weapon wondered why no one was attacking and nothing was happening. It was making her irritated as all get out but seeing as Ofelia was standing, waiting, there was nothing she could do.

The teen wasn't going to attack unless she got pushed first. Until that time, she stood a few feet away from Bix, at level with him so they looked nearly in line. They'd keep this spot until everyone had passed through.

Clerise just muttered to herself, eyes narrowed as she continued looking for him. "******** giving me heart attacks. I oughta pummel you."

Gritting his teeth, Jerry concentrated on just surging forward. The pain was in his head. His Fear Shield protected it, healed it, it shouldn't be bugging him, he wasn't crippled, he wasn't in pain, he had just helped save Sasha and Wash and ll the rest and....

There! The end! He stumbled past the Colosseum, barely taking it in before he was barreling past other hunters and the distant sight of a portal...

There was too much noise, and all around hunter coats blurred into horns and feathers. Unearthly screams echoed all around the stone structures, and he was left disoriented as he moved on at a half jog, half crouch, avoiding chunks of falling rock while trying to not be seen by any of the odd creatures the Hell-Demon woman from before had been with.

Melvin. Human. Listen. You okay? You need to talk to me. Helloooo.

Melvin really wasn't in the mood to responding to her, as his mind was pretty much on auto-pilot just to move.

Ceres was apparently, SUPER lost.

She did not have to wait for long though... being as soon after she turned around, realizing she had indeed ran the wrong way, she met face to face with a zombie boy.

Cereshatedzombies.

She did not have to worry about that any more, because before she could dodge the zombie delivered quite the shock to her system. Her last words were "s**t..." Before she hit the ground with a thump.
