Ellis shook his head. "Few have. I've had other concerns." he said, adjusting his hat and squaring his shoulders. "I'm going to see it eventually, it might as well be now."
Irana was going through a basket she was bringing. "I hop you don't mind. I added a few think to give your parents. Since we're going to be relatives soon, I would like to start it off as positive as possible.
Araima peeked in. "Are those your pastries?" she said. If her mouth hadn't be closed she would have been drooling. She remembered the days of sneaking a few hot ones fresh out of the oven when they though she wasn't looking. In fact... some of those memories accrued a few weeks ago as well. "Can I have one?"
"When we get there." Irana stated, closing the basket.

"Hmm..." Gale crossed his arms. "I see, well fair enough I suppose." He sniffed the air, there was a sweet fragrance in the air. Turns out Irana had brought sweets with her, and wasn't sharing them till they had got to his family. "Can't she have one? It wouldn't hurt, can you really say no to that face?" He pinched Araima's cheeks for emphasis and smiled.

Araima blushed deeply and swatted at Gale. "Oh you!" she stutter, a little embarrassed by the display. But her mother laughed at the sight, very much amused.
"Well, since you asked like that..." She pulled out two of the carefully wrapped pastries, for each of them.
"Don't I get one?" Ellis asked, raising a brow.
"Not after stealing several hot one right out of the oven." she stated with a curt nod.
The man wink. "Worth it." This earn a smack on the shoulder from his wife.

"Hey, it helped, didn't it?" He laughed shortly. He thanked Irana for the sweets, unwrapping it just a little and taking a small bite out of it. His eyes lit up, it tasted great! He definitely wanted to take his time savoring it. He had to stifle his laughter at her parent's antics. It was nice to see the lighter side of her parents.
"Lets just go now, shall we?" Gale took Araima by the hand and walked her out the house. Some time later, they walked through the gates, on the other side was of course Gale's Human world.
"Well, this is my world, what do you think of it?"

Irana's reaction was much the same as Araima's the first time. Open admiration. Ellis was a little less enthusiastic, but no less impressed.
"It beautiful." Irana told Gale. "I feel like I've gone back in time a little." she chuckled. "You live near here?"
Meanwhile Araima was standing near her father just breathing in the air. "I can see why you would like to spend some of you life here." Ellis murmured.
She smiled and nodded.
"Are you ready for that."
"Definitely." she assured him, giving his hand a squeeze. She looked back at Gale who was guiding them with a slightly smile.

"No, not anymore. My parents do though." Answered Gale, he was relieved for Araima's sake that it was close. Not as near as the original, but they would all make it. They approved so far, that was great.
It took them awhile before they got to his parent's humble home. He pointed it out for Araima's parents, as they they had not seen it before. "This is it, like I said before, we don't have tree branch roofs around here."

Ellis was nodding, appreciating the house. It was nice. Made from the land in a more relative use or the word. It was rather nice.
"It's lovely." Irana said. "Despite the lack of branch roofing." she teased lightly.
Araima found her way to Gale side and took his arm. She was growing nervous the closer that got to the home. Her grip was rather tight on his arms. "Do you think they react alright to all of this? I mean... we're about to dump a lot on them." she whispered as headed up the stone pathway to the front door.

Gale shrugged "I like that about your houses, okay?" he answered, in any case he felt someone tug his arm. He gave her a soft smile, and squeezed her hand for a change.
"I'm pretty sure it will be alright. I mean, she knows how much I love you." That being said, he walked along the pathway and knocked on the front door. Given a minute, the door opened thanks to Gale's mother.
"Gale, it's so good to see you and Araima."
"Hi mom, this is her parents, we kinda have a lot to talk about."
"Oh that's all righ-"
She stopped mid sentence, noticing the protruding bump of a belly Araima had gained. Angela screamed, and then collapsed to the floor. Apparently the news was too much for her and she fainted. Gale's expression was none other than shocked.
"That...could have gone better..."

Araima paled at Angela's reaction. Was it offensive she was with child? Fainted might have been expected, but she screamed as well. She looked up as she felt an arm wrapped around her shoulder.
"Oh, don't worry. I almost had a similar reaction." Irana whispered in a comforting manner. "I just had a couple of months to figure it out. Now go sit down, dear. I'll take care of this."
Stepping up with a determined look. "Gale. You and Ellis will help you mother to the nearest couch. I'll get some wet rags. Now go!" she stated firmly. "And Araima honey. Just sit down and calm yourself." she added gently.
She must have looked very upset for her to say that. In fact she was. She'd just made Gale's mother scream and faint. She did as her mother bid her and sat, rubbing her belly.

Gale nodded and lifted Angela by her arms while Ellis would support her legs.
Hearing the noise, Ryan rushed downstairs with a golfclub in hand. Gale couldn't believe he still had that old thing in case of burglars. Seeing that it was only his son and his guests, he put the sports equipment down.
"What happened here?"
"She saw Araima, who's now pregnant with our child." Replied Gale, he pointed to her to show his father. "Oh, these are her parents, Irana and Ellis."
Ryan sighed and helped them along with carrying his wife to the nearby couch. "For someone who said she couldn't wait for grandchildren, she doesn't take that sort of news well, or perhaps she took it too well."

Araima watched worriedly. "Will she be okay?" she asked nervously.
Irana came with a bowl of water and rags. "She'll be fine. Don't worry." the older woman assured her daughter.
Ellis nodded to Ryan and they settled the human woman an the couch. "I'm Ellis. Good to meet you." he said. "This is Irana." he introduced his wife. Irana sent him a smile as she sat down beside Angela and daubed her forehead with the wet rag.

"Ryan, it's a pleasure to meet you, the both of you." He smiled and gave the back of his head a scratch. "I'm sure Angela would have said the same."
Gale walked behind Araima's seat and gave her a hug to help her keep calm. "Don't worry about my mom. Yours knows what to do, and it will take more than a little fall to keep her down."
About 15 minutes later, Angela's bearings returned. She rose up slowly, clutching her head due to the headache she received from the fall.
"Being asleep when guests around is not like you Angela." Said her husband, she threw him a look that showed she was not amused at him. Ryan knew his wife and simply took it in stride.
"Oh you behave, Ryan. I hope I didn't cause trouble with that scene." She answered, she was embarrassed that she got so worked up and fainted earlier. In truth she was excited, really excited for the news of a grandchild.

Araima breathed a sigh of relief as Angela awoke. "I'm sorry. We didn't mean to shock you so. Perhaps I should have sent word ahead." She glanced at Gale nervously. Her hands were clashed tightly in her lap.
"Perhaps that would have been a good idea." Irana said thoughtfully. She took the human woman's hand. "Sorry for intruding in your home. I'm Irana, Araim'a mother. And this is my husband Ellis. I hope you don't might us being here."

Angela shook her head. "Nonsense, I was just a bit overexcited." She turned to Irana and smiled. "It's great to meet you both, I don't mind it at all." Without a second thought, Angela made her way to Araima and hugged her up.
"I'm so happy you two are going to have a baby, a bit too soon to me but no sense in complaining about it."

Araima hugged her mother-in-law relaxing. "I wasn't exactly expecting to expect so soon myself." she admitted. She placed on had on her distended belly. "I'm glad you are so excited about your new grandson." she giggled.
