When Polaris pushed Niflhel behind her, Ares let her gray eyes slide to the boy, memorizing his features, before gliding back to the other Princess. It wasn't a threat, per se, but there was certainly something aggressive in the action, a promise, perhaps, of another kind of collateral damage.
Then Polaris began offering to "save" Ares. In spite of herself, the Princess of Smoke snorted. It was two-fold: 1) the belief that the White Moon was correct and 2) the assumption that Polaris would be able to convert Ares if she wanted to do it. (Granted, Ares wasn't sure she could corrupt Polaris either. She hadn't tested her magic that far and hadn't really had the opportunity to do so either.)
"Princess, I am afra--" The words never made it out. The White Moon Princess threw herself at Ares, tangling her in a flurry of arms and jewels. Ares' staff was hooked on one of the many long necklaces. Before she could do anything, Polaris pumped her wings, lifting the two toward the roof. It was a lot of weight for one set of wings though. To keep them from crashing to the ground, Ares gave her own wings a pump, landing on the criss-crossing metal beams high above the battle below.
The two women fell onto a beam, Ares on her back, Polaris on top. With a grunt, Ares flipped the girl off of her, lost her own balance, and caught on to the small beam -- maybe only 2 or 3 feet across -- with a hand. She pulled herself up, careful to keep her golden staff in hand. Up here, it stood a good chance of getting in the way.
"If you won't listen to reason, then you can listen to the pain of defeat," Ares hissed. Lunging forward, she swung her staff at Polaris' head.

[Order Hourly Roll - Kallichore]Despite herself and the chaos around her, Kallichore actually laughed. "Chaonis, you haven't changed a bit. I'm glad to see you too, a*****e." There was no anger in her voice, only relief. The eternal was worried about him too, and worried about Tsui and the Jovians. She hadn't seen where they were since the battle started and she only hoped they were alright. With a hiss, she kicked an incoming lieutenant in the face with her heel. It sent him reeling across the floor and out cold when he hit a wall. "God dammit. We can't very well kill them - that'll make us as bad as these Chaos scumbags..." Suddenly she heard the telltale beat of wings and looked up, spying Ares and Polaris skyrocketing upwards. Another lieutenant came at her with fists flying, but the eternal still had some fight left in her. A sleeved left hook sent that one careening somewhere else. Looking back up to the battling royals, Kallichore sent her faith with Polaris. Be careful! She only had one attack left, and it was her base level. She'd have to make due with punches and kicks for now, saving her last attack for an emergency. "Chaonis, think you can bulldoze us a path? Maybe get us back to a group so we can do some real damage?"

(Order hourly roll)
"Forgive me for being discourteous," Camelot began, but he was stopped short as a small ball rolled under his shield and stopped almost at his feet. He looked down at it, and for a moment his brain went blank.
They could roll things under his shield. Right.
In all his battles so far he had not had anyone do such a thing to him. Usually his shield blocked everything and while it was not unreasonable to understand that things could go under, over, or around it he had not actually been presented with a case as startlingly obvious to the drawbacks there as this one.
And then the thing went off and he howled in pain, shutting his eyes and stumbling backwards, ears throbbing. It was hopefully a momentary distraction, but it was certainly a big on. He forgot about Benitoite, Zinkenite and Howlite, who he had never met before but was now certain he was not a fan of.
He had to keep his head in the game, but it was very difficult when he couldn't see anything, couldn't hear anything and, a few seconds later though he hadn't seen the second little bomb, couldn't breathe either.
Did every nega get bombs now, or was he just particularly lucky?
He felt his arm jerk and realized that someone, Zink from the weight of the chaos around him and the strong pull of his grip, was trying to pull his shield free. Or his arm off, he thought, as a shooting pain tore through it. He stumbled and opened one of his eyes, seeing Zink through a haze of blurry color. It was fading, but not fast enough. Every second counted. Instead of pulling against Zink, then, he surged forward, barreling into the back of his own shield and then, hopefully, into Zink, with the shield between them.
He just needed to get some distance, and not lose his weapon in the process.

[Order Roll!] The room was in absolute chaos.
Ambrosia found herself separated from her fellow teammates Lenka and Pamona. She was somewhere in the middle of the fray, and was very disoriented. Everywhere she looked there was fighting. And everywhere she looked there was dying. The young senshi had never seen anyone die before. Every battle she had fought save for one had been against a youma, who simply turned to dust. But these were people, these were people!. They had families, school schedules, friends. And now they were lying on the floor with no hope of seeing anyone ever again. She covered her eyes with her bee plushie, willing herself to shrink into the ground. This wasn't what being a senshi was about!
Her ears picked up a small familiar voice some where in the battle. "Lenka!" Her shout did not attract her friend to her side, but a negaverse agent that had just knocked a senshi unconscious took notice of the apparently easy target, and rushed Ambrosia.
She dodged his run, kicking him in the back of the knee and sending him to the ground for a moment, groaning. Then she ran away, pushing past people and dodging magical attacks while she searched for her Chibi friend. --------------------------------------------------- Attack Blurb: Sailor Ambrosia holds out her hands and a yellow ball of honey about the size of a soccer ball shoots toward the enemy. If hit, the enemy takes twice as long to attack or move. [Duration]- 15 seconds before the honey hardens and can be broken. [Can be used]- 2 times in battle [Pros]- Slows enemy so that others' hit are more accurate and effective

Hourly Chaos Roll!Mesolite was laughing as she pulled the hair of a very upset looking senshi girl, though paused when she heard her name called, looking around. Her eyes landed on Painite and a grin lit up her face. “General! Hello there! Are you having a good evening?” She knew that she certainly was. If normal nights were like this, then being in the Negaverse truly would just be one giant party.
The Lieutenant gave the senshi’s hair one more sharp tug, then kicked her hard in the back of the knees, laughing as she fell and going over to Painite. “Do you have any lessons, general? My hand is getting quite tired of punching, and I’ve been even toying with the idea of seeing how much damage my paper clips can really do, though I’m quite sure it won’t be enough to make any real difference. I suppose I’m just here for comic relief more than anything!”
It didn’t seem to bother her much, though, it would be nice to be able to do more damage like some of her fellow officers were doing. If only she could.

Fairymount ((Sorry for the delay dear, if you'd like to jump with someone more active I'd be happy to run Juno off.)) It really was pretty unfortunate that the people the amused her most often turned out to be her enemy. First there was Bihran. And now this one. Under other circumstances the two might even be chums. Heck, the other girl even acted like she didn't want to fight.
But sadly Juno had a bit of a vendetta against the Dark Mirrors. Having your soul corrupted in the past did that sometimes.
She groaned and huffed out the air in her lungs as she was punched, using all the energy she could manage to roll herself up and out of her pinned state. She was sure to offer back a nice punch towards the ribs as well once she'd sturdied herself.
"Sorry, I only listen to my princess Small Lady. If she say punch, then I will punch. Twice." Her fist lashed out again, attempting for a repeat performance."So be it." It was a simple quip in the affirmative, no more need for long speeches. Now was the time for action.
Surprise and her jewelry had helped with the initial 'attack', but now as she stood balancing on the rafters, watching Ares regain her own balance and place she knew she'd need more. Her senses tingled and sang, alerting her to some shards of metal rafter nearby that had been shattered and broken with the explosions of the original attacks that had allowed Chaos into the building. She scooped them up, sliding one between each finger on her right hand. Impromptu 'brass knuckles'. She was using lessons from the past, because this would certainly be the toughest battle she ever faced.
Once in the past she had thrown herself in the way of Sassolite just to protect the children and other senshi in the area. And now she was doing it again. Hopefully this time she'd walk away with less severe injuries. Hopefully this time she'd walk away...
With the sober thought of what her defeat might mean to those around her, Polaris lurched forward with her metal shard laced fist at Ares, hoping to hit her before she could gather all her wits and strike back. The two be a flurry of fists and feathers, almost dancing above the heads of everyone else as they tried to keep from falling. It would almost be beautiful if not so lethal.

[Hourly, Chaos]
Remarque’s lips curled just a bit as he heard a very familiar, very unpleasant voice spoke up from behind him. He recognized it as Lenka’s almost instantly and was reluctant to even turn and look at the chibi Senshi. He knew how psychotic she could get. When Carnelian turned to acknowledge her, Remarque tilted his head.
He was eavesdropping a bit, curious to know why any agent of Chaos would be so friendly with such a monstrous child. Perhaps he was just still sore about their first meeting—and every consecutive one. Lenka had brought him a fair share of trouble—but she was still a child, and even if they weren’t on friendly terms, Remarque did not believe she should be here.
Not when people were being killed left and right.
He’d already been tackled to the ground enough today; he didn’t want Lenka to try again. He wasn’t sure his back could handle that.

(Hourly Chaos roll!)
General Painite smiled leisurely under the face mask, her eyes bright and burning with a passion for the blood being spilled around them. That she was helping to spill. This was more than fun to her. She knew she had come a long way since she was a Lieutenant, and she battled with the implications of murder, war, duty, and fun.
Now, they were all the same thing.
"I think you've got things well in hand," she laughed, "and knee. But Lieutenant," she watched the other seriously, eyes growing darker despite their light and vibrant color, "there is always something you can do. Just use your head and a little creativity. Stay close to a General or a Captain at all times, and don't let them surround you or out number you. Watch for their magic."
Now seemed a good time for some training. Why not? It was one of those 'deep end' 'learn by doing' situations. She kept her eye on Athene while she spoke, though her attention was drawn and she was not worried about that.
She had a bit of a super villain complex. Once her confidence really set in, her bad habits popped up. She was much better at controlling herself, but some things always remained the same. Like right now, she had a really strong urge to monologue, even though this had not even been her evil scheme.

When the orders came down that they would be attacking, Lt. Kyanite had begun to tremble. She was perhaps one of the worst suited people to be in the Negaverse, cousin to the deceased General-King Marthozite or not. The idea of taking a risk, any risk, made her skin crawl. She was the friend who listened to her friends' crazy stories, gave them advice, and then hung around to see how it all worked out. She was the girl who watched Lifetime movies with a bowl of popcorn and then wrote in her diary about what her life might be like if she ever tried to do something so crazy. The idea of willingly walking into a battle was as appealing to her as wading through a field of s**t. And that was, more or less, what she was doing. As a newbie, Kyanite had been assigned to entering through the mirrors. This meant that Ares had seen her face as a civilian, but Kyanite didn't know enough about what it meant to be a Negaverse agent to realize that this might be a big deal. She also had no idea that the very woman who lifted her up and threw her through the mirror was also the same person who had led to the death of her beloved cousin. Zinkenite had spared her this knowledge, and it was for the best. Now, the dark-skinned South African girl was attempting to hide in a room full of war. The only thing she had to protect herself was an oversized gas mask and about 4 feet of electrical cord. Despite her weeks of training, Kyanite still struggled to throw a proper punch, kick, or block. Yet, here she was, fighting along people who belonged in action movies. A senshi came flying in her direction, knocked backward by an attempt. Kyanite yelped, leaped over the body and sprinted blindly forward -- careening right into Chaonis with the full force of her run. Whoops.

Get around him.
It was a very simple goal, and one she moved toward with a singular purpose. She and Zinkenite had separated, and as the knight clashed with her superior, Howlite took the opportunity to allow both to push beyond her. Past her. That left her behind the blinded, deafened hero, and she was quick to press the advantage. A shield wasn't much good when it wasn't facing your attacker.
She was glad for her own protective, if futuristic, armor as she slammed a hammer fist strike for the back of the Knight's skull, pursuing him aggressively. Though she rarely became angry in the midst of battle, the pain he'd inflicted on her was a strong motivation to keep the hits coming, and hard.
She said nothing, Howlite wasn't much for quips beyond the occasional flirtation, and Camelot really wasn't her type.

[Chaos Hourly] Iris_virus Oh, I don't mind. I'm not that terribly speedy myself and this is fun. c: "Small Lady? Is that her actual name? Someone named their kid Small Lady?"
For some reason, in the midst of a battle, this was terribly interesting information. Useless, but interesting.
"Jesus, she must have gotten the s**t beat out of her in school with a name like that."
She shook her head in pity and then drew in a hissing breath as a fist was driven into her ribs. Really, it was too bad they had to fight like this. Chariklo found herself liking this girl and her smart mouth. They might have been, had things been different, friends and comrades.
The second punch she managed to just barely avoid by rolling to her own feet and standing braced for anything. Through her goggles, it was clear that there was a sense of resigned pity in her eyes as she watched the other girl.
"Really. Is that so?" she asked as she tensed slightly, fingers curling into fists. "Well, Twinkle Tits, tough s**t for you because I only listen to my Queen. And if you won't let yourself be saved, then you'll have to be... eliminated. Nothing personal, you understand."
With that, Chariklo launched herself at Juno, fists swinging as the tall girl surged forward, intent on performing her duty.

The Eternal Senshi of Danger grinned sidelong at Kallichore, crooked and devious as it always was. Though he was here to technically do good, there was always something devilish in his tactics. So when she asked him to bulldoze a path he felt like she was asking him to please take this free bucket of fun. He had permission to kick a** in any way he saw fit, and no one was going to yell at him for being too rough, too dangerous.
This was his kind of fight.
He just had to be careful with his attacks. Inside was the worst place for him, as he could bring the place down around them if he was too close to a load bearing wall or something.
He might remember to be cautious.
"Of course," he grunted, waving his hand. He didn't care if they got to others or not, more than content to brawl on his own and see what happened, but he was not going to leave her to her own devices. She was hurt and he was not, which meant she needed him. And there was something important in that, even if he never accepted it out loud.
He'd defend her.
When someone crashed into him, then, he was surprised but not angry. After catching his footing and bracing himself, he looked at Lieutenant Kyanite and bared a toothy grin. She had just slammed into the wrong Senshi. He saw the senshi on the ground behind her and assumed it was the Nega that had knocked them down, and that she was brazenly attacking him next. Big mistake. She had a brand new enemy without even trying.
"Going somewhere?"
The answer was no. He clenched his hands into fists and launched himself at her without hesitation, swinging hard and aiming for her face. He was pretty sure the rules about hitting girls were not applicable to war. If he was going to play bulldozer, she was his first obstacle. Lucky girl.

Was it really that hard for them to have a decent meeting every once in a while!?
Grus found herself fighting a lower ranked negaverse agent, who kicked out at her. She blocked the kick with an arm, rolling her wrist so that she grabbed the other girl's boot and gave it a tug. The rest of the body went with the boot, and the chaos agent received an elbow to the face for her inexperience. Grus let the girl fall backwards clutching her nose and howling while she scanned the room for another target. The fight was absolutely insane. Everywhere she looked, there were senshi getting starseeds ripped out and negaverse agents getting pounded into a pulp. She had lost Chaonis in the fight as well as Polaris. The Princess was located not too long after the battle began, if anything by her power signature alone. She was above everyone else, and Grus felt the desire to try and help her. But she seemed to be doing alright by herself, so the Eternal senshi turned her eyes elsewhere, where chaos energy mixed with Order signatures in a very disorienting manner.((if anyone needs someone to fight or someone to help them, Grus is available smile )) --------------------------------------------------------- Think Jupiter's "Oak Evolution" with feathers. The feathers now have an energy cover that makes them glow with a red and yellow energy. She spins once, thrusting her hands outward, and a ring of the energy covered feathers flies from her body. If the feathers hit someone, they stick to them and the person feels as if the feather cut it's way through them, and they will receive a feather shaped burn on the entrance and exit "holes" of the wound. Note: The feather is not actually cutting through them, it just feels as if it has and the burns show up where the holes would be if it did cut through them. If the feathers stick to anything but flesh, such as clothing, it will burn a hole through it. (Exception being like really thick things, like buildings. They will get a 2-3 inch indentation)

Hourly Chaos
Realgar pressed forward into the fray with an deliberation and fury that would normally have suggested someone of higher rank and greater capacity to give and take damage, but he'd never been the type not to push his limits, and he was apparently determined to shake off the 'rust' in the most savage way possible, scouring it off his reflexes with a fury of punches and kicks, relatively safe from his own weapons, which were still scattered somewhere underfoot in the chaos. He wasn't sure if anyone had actually trod on one, and he wasn't sure he cared. At his level, the most they could do was hinder, and he wanted to do more than that. He had too much to prove to let a ridiculous kids toy for a weapon slow him down.
