Even the kitsune had enough wit to know when to laugh at a good retort, and that was one. Did not mean he wasn't already scheming a reply. Remi of course had really freaking huge fox ears. Which he flicked upright, and swiveled back and forth almost attune to what a satellite dish would do, or picking up sonar. Pausing his assault on the black dog for a second, he gave a smile and nod to Danny. "Pleasure to meet you, Danny. Everyone calls me Remi." He also gave a bit of a knowing grin back to Mei, and another wink, before returning his attentions to his current target. "Let me help you a little.." He slouched down, leaned in, and touched nose tips with the other boil so they were eye to eye. "Better, yes? Hows the reception now?"

"Oh, okay." She didn't really get it, but it was clear he didn't want to talk about it more, so she left it at that. At least she'd know now to call it by the other term, if that's what Alex preferred.

The mermaid stopped her song though, looking as she saw other students resting at some kind point. Since she saw neither her boilfriend nor Danny, she continued on.

With the thought of searching for her boilfriend, she wondered if he missed her as much as she did him right now. It was odd that she would miss the boil so much. They had seen each other practically every day!.

Alex didn't actually have a preference, it was just that when it came to actually protecting Yin, saying that he did it because they were boilfriends just didn't cut it. They were bonded. They were supposed to look out for each other, keep each other safe. Mind you, Yin only seemed to think that it was him that should keep Alex safe, and not the other way around. "It's no big deal or anything." He shrugged. "Call us boilfriends, best friends, bonded. It all counts." He offered her a smile before glancing down to his vibrating phone once more. Remi introduced himself and Danny was about to say something, but the kitsune went back to teasing Tybalt, so Danny figured it was okay to leave those two alone. "I like your shorts!" Danny said happily to Mei. The ghoul had good taste.
