Xiao laughed as she watched the antics of the new game. "Thats funny! I want to play. Go on Akira... Whatcha gonna do?" She asked eagerly.

Akira smiled and thought for a moment "hmmm...oh! i got one!" he said. he then walked out to a tree just out side the cave, he streched out his neck as far as he could and keeping it outstreached he pretended to nibble at the leaves, he was standing on tiptoe trying to be as tall as possible

Xiao laughed at him. "You look like a giraffe!" She said through her giggles. "Is that it? A Giraffe?"

Akira laughed "you got it! your turn Xiao!" he smiled and sat down again "eww..i actually got a leaf in my mouth" he wrinkled his nose making a funny face

Xiao laughed. "I'll bet that doesn't taste good." She said sweetly before taking her turn. She pressed her ears flat against her head and lay on the ground, her tail helping to balance her as she clawed her way foreward, opening and closing her mouth like the great beast of the rivers.

It seemed like hours before Ling returned, the darkness had taken over the sky and the moon was full, casting its light into the cave. The king stood outside the cave, roaring once to anounce his return. He then entered, his large body and pale fur almost glowing in the moonlight.
He moved passed the group of playing kittens, to rest in the back of the cave. He said nothing, did nothing for the time being. He was proud of his pride, proud that they had found a way to get along. Though his mind wandered to the little red kitten, how had she taken to the pride, had she taken at all? He could only hope, and once he had taken note of her actions, he would decide what to do.
He noted the half finished carcass of boar in the cave. He was thankful that there was at least some left over. Though he did not touch it, did not bother. His mind was far too troubled to focus on eating, for now.

akira smiled "crocodile?perhaps?" he said laughing a bit "you do this game well" he added smiling towards Xiao. he then looked over towards king ling as he returned but looked away seeing the moon shining brightly outside the cave. he yawned "maybe we should continue tommorow?if you want to" he asked

Nola watched Ling come and lay down near the shadow she still lurked in. She owned him a lot for letting her into his pride. Even as she lay there she wondered if she would ever be able to thank him enough for taking her in.

Shaitani watched the others play, but didn't get up to join in. He merely moved deeper into the shadows of the cave near the corpse of the snake he had killed earlir, settling himself down and working to get comfortable. He was tired from going to the desert.
He looked for a moment to the snake with the crushed skull. He had killed the animal without a second thought. Looking to his paws he felt a great power with-in himself. He could kill.

Xiao nodded with a smile. "Yes... continue tomorrow..." She yawned sleepily. "Good night, Akira." She bid him farewell and trotted back over to her sister, cuddling up next to her as they had when they had no one else. "Night, Kun Yi..."

"good night" he said before walking back over to his spot and laying down to sleep. he looked up at the roof of the cave and around at all the lions around him he smiled, thouroughly enjoying his new home

Kun Yi slipped away from her sister during the night, the dark colored fur blending into the night's shadows. The small nap had pushed away the conversation and feelings from earlier. It was easier to deal with them now.
The small cub sat outside the cave, amethyst eyes looking up to the stars above. She had a feeling that the others didn't like her. That was perfectly fine with her. She didn't want to them to like her or to like them. If she stayed it would only be for Xiao Rou's protection. Not her own. She could take care of herself just fine. And her sister.
One paw played over the dirt, eyes turning down to study the patterns she had made. "I hate them all."

Leanna looked about at the kits play and smiled. She stretched a bit and took a quick nap. She awoke as soon as the King returned. The kits were about to sleep as well. Sighing softly, she stepped over to Ling and slowly gave a small chuff. "Does something trouble you, King Ling?" She whispered slowly giving a small bow. Even though they had not known eachother long, she felt like she could pick up his emotions. Well it wasn't hard since she could read his face. He was troubled by Kun Yi. Who wasn't? The cub was obviously bull headed and wouldn't listen to her betters and peers. Leanna looked down not risking to look into the King's eyes. If he was angry and their eyes met, she would crack just like glass dropped on stone. "If you do not wish to share..I understand. I just merely wish to help..."

Ling watched as the young, red kitten awoke durring the night. He shook his head as she moved off to be alone. He then noted as Leanna came over to him. He gave her the slightest of a nod before sighing and shaking his head. "The little one troubles me. She refuses even now to be part of the group. They sleep, she wakes. It is admirable in someone who has the calling of a guard, or a hunter, but this is a child...' He lowered his head and loked passed Leanna to the child. "She should be playing, enjoying life at this age. She's too grown up Leanna, too..." he thought for the word. "unpredictable." He sighed and closed his eyes. "We will see come morning what she is like. I want her sister to stay with us, that child needs protection from those that can protect her. It will be the other's choice if she stays, but if she does, she will be expected to get along with the others."

Sleep had not claimed the little off green kitten who was still hiding in her corner. She watched as Ling and Leanna spoke. Its true that the little blue one should be allowed to stay for she knew how to get along with others. However her sister was far too stubborn for her own good. It reminded Nola of a sister that she had lost. Stubborness hadn't saved her sister and it wouldn't save this little fighter. Nola used a paw to wipe the tears from her face that she just noticed. She stiffled a sniffle and tried to get control of her emotions.
