Jeromy hit the bed and all the wind was knocked right out of him. He looked at Mr. Curneel with wide eyes full of fear. Jeromy was afraid of what would happen next, until he felt Inari put her hand in front of him, sheilding him. He was relieved when Inari's father left and he finally caught his breath again. "I don't think I've ever been that scared in my life....." Jeromy said, almost whimpering. He turned to look at Inari, the fear still present in his eyes. He could see that there was a tear running down Inari's face and he very carefully wiped it away with his thumb. "I-I was wondering.... Should we tell your father how I protected you? Or do you think he'll blame me for you being in the situation with the mountain lion, then Warren and Barret?" He asked, stammering a bit.

Inari whimpered and took a deep breath. "Jeromy, I'm so, so sorry... I will definitely tell him about you being my knight in shining armor," she tried to lighten the mood. "Please don't be afraid... Please stay..." she pleaded, Please ask me to be your girlfriend... she added in her head and blushed. She brushed the hair out of his eyes with her left hand and lay it on his cheek, "Please..." she gave him a sweet smile. ((I AM OFFICIALLY 18!!!!!!!!))

Looking at Inari, Jeromy smiled a bit, though he was still nervous about what Mr. Curneel would think. "I guess that if you say that everything will be ok I'll believe it. I just have never been able to trust easily....." Jeromy hoped that he'd not upset Inari with his words, but he felt that it had to be said. He hugged her gently and said, "Why would I leave? If I would leave it wouldn't be my choice."

Inari smiled, "You don't know how happy that makes me, Jeromy," she smiled. Inari bit her lip, she had to make a move somehow. She knew him well enough now, so she would make things happen. "You know... My dad thinks you're my boyfriend..." she began, "And he'd be mad if he found out I'm lying..." she blushed, hoping that he'd ask her now.

Jeromy just sat there, hugging Inari. He wasn't thinking of anything other than her and he almost didn't register what she'd said to him. His eyes widened, He pulled out of the hug and gently put his hands on Inari's shoulders. "Are you sure it's safe? I mean you saw what your father did when he saw us just now... If we're really dating he's going to have people watching us 24/7. And I really wouldn't want anyone following us to my cabin if I'd want to take you there. That's my sanctuary. You can call it your sanctuary too, but I don't want everyone and their brother knowing about it....." He said as he looked deep into Inari's eyes.

Inari bit her lip, "I promise, no one will follow us. My dad already thinks we're together, and no one is following us," she knew her dad would be a problem... She caressed his cheek with her left hand. "Don't let my dad scare you, Jeromy," she grinned, "He won't hurt you. I mean, with my super strength, you should be scared of me," she shrugged, pursing her lips and squinting to make herself look 'tough'.

Jeromy was calmed a bit by Inari said, "I suppose you're right. I mean I would've felt someone watching me. Unless I've grown so used to the feeling I can't tell anymore....... That bothered him a bit, but wasn't going to let it get him down. He laughed a bit at Inari's comment of her having super strength and said, "You say I should be afraid of you... I'm not and don't see why I should be." He then looked at the ceiling before looking back at Inari, "I can't believe that something that I was doing for s**ts and giggles turned out to be a good thing. And the best part, other than me not getting arrested, is that I've got you now."{ooc: I'm going to bed now. I probably should get some sleep, even though I'm not really tired. razz }

Inari blushed and smirked. "Well, you don't technical have me yet..." she told him. "I'm TECHNICALLY still on the market... Still single... You haven't 'claimed' me" she laughed. Nari saw a male nurse, "But, you might wanna do it soon, if you want me, because that male nurse is preeetty cute," she winked at Jeromy, teasing him. ((Im going to bed too! Night!))

Jeromy thought it was funny how Inari was messing with him, teasing him. That was until she was saying that he'd not techically claimed her and then she said that a male nurse, that just happened to walk into the room was cute. Jeromy didn't show it, but when Inari told him that it cut real deep. He narrowed his eyes and stood up. He walked over to the male nurse and started talking to him. The male nurse looked at Inari, smiling a bit and at that very moment Jeromy walked out of the room. He was only going to stand in the hall, but he guessed Inari wouldn't think that.

Inari had simply been joking! She was prompting him to ask her... She didn't want him to leave. "Jeromy!" she called, even though he had had probably left. "You promised you'd stay..." she sniffed. Why had she taken it so far!? ...Why had he left? "Jeromy.." we whimpered and turned to the side where he was laying. She savored the scent of him and the warm feeling on the covers. He had promised. ((I had 3 hours of sleep. Kill. Me. Now. Please?:3))

Jeromy thought about walking right back in, but he just stood in the hall; he was sitting on his feelings and was going to leave Inari think he was jealous for a little. He stood there for a good ten minutes before he walked down the hall. He ended up walking into the gift shop. He had some cash on him thankfully, but he didn't really know what he'd be able to get. He browsed for a bit and saw the cutest little fluffy teddy bear with a single rose. He just barely had the cash to by it, but he was able to. Knowing that he'd need them as a peace offering to Inari, considering he walked out and she probably thought he wasn't going to come back. He knew that he'd promised that he'd stay and that he wouldn't walk out, but he walked out and broke his promise. He walked into the room and saw the male nurse was still there, staring at Inari like a dog stares at a bone. "Get out of here!! Don't you have something you're supposed to be doing!?" Jeromy snarled at the male nurse. The nurse flinched and nodded, remembering that he really did have other things he needed to do. Jeromy walked over to Inari, his head down and the bear with the rose in one hand.{ooc: Wow... That's crazy. xd And no can do. Sorry.}

It felt like hours since Jeromy had left. That was obviously and exaggeration, but that's how hurt Inari felt. She thought, at first, Jeromy might come back and say he was teasing her, but he hadn't. And then, out of no where, he did. She heard his footsteps and his yell, but she didn't see him because her eyes were closed. "You promised me you wouldn't leave, Jeromy," she was back to his full name bacau sense was upset, "You promised you stay. Then you left without so much as a word."she accused.

Jeromy sighed and set the bear with the rose next to Inari. "You're mad at me for leaving, but how do think what you said about that nuse made me feel?" He knew that if Inari stayed mad at him and if she would say that there were other guys she thought were cute he'd leave. He'd leave and wouldn't ever look back. He knew that would be cold, but he would do that if Inari kept up her little teasing game. Any other type of teasing was fine with him, but if it involoved someone else that struck Inari's fancy; he just wouldn't stand for it, not one bit.

Inari sighed and opened her eyes, "Jeromy...there's no one here that I'll ever want as much as I want you..." she eerie what she said and her face matched the color of her hair. "Umm... I mean... I'm just gonna sleep now because sleep is good and I need sleep otherwise I start spewing random stuff and it just doesn't end well..." she kept babbling non-sensical things, her face turning redder. She closed her eyes, "There's no place like home, there's no place like home.... Theres no place like home," she murmured, clicking her bare feet together.
