James sighed, "Okay... goodnight..." he said, and he sat there, thinking, I don't know... I like her, but I can't let history repeat itself... he sighed, and he closed his eyes, attempting to sleep despite his insomnia.

She tipped off to the side, still asleep, and rested against him, her head on his upper arm, a frown on her face... No! NO! Momma! NO! Don't! They'll kill you! she screamed in her dream... a replay of the day her family died. Oh Please, hunny. Just go to school. I'll be fine. her mother said, and suddenly she was at school...
the day flashed by, and she was walking home... she turned the last corner...and dropped her bag.
Her house was nothing but ashes, and smoke.

James looked at her, and he wrapped an arm around her, noticing the frown, he sighed and he watched her sleep.

Deep furrows started to form on her forehead, NOOO!!! She yelled, I TOLD YOU THIS WOULD HAPPEN!! she fell to her knees sobbing, Why did you never listen..? she sobbed harder, First Acid... now them... why... why... WHY!? she pounded the grass with her fists... then stood. She had a determined look in her eye.
After about two hours of rummaging through what was left, she had found her dad's Lightning Hawk, 30 Shells, and a huge blade... she holstered the gun, sheathed the knife, dumped out her book bag, filled it with money, food and water, and left, not knowing where she was going, just moving forward at all times.

James watched her, he rubbed her back soothingly, hoping she was okay. He looked up at the ceiling, and he whispered, "We'll get out of this..."

Acid woke up the next morning and yawned, his ears twitching and para still asleep. Acud slowly got up and put a pillow under para's head and went over to a food cabinet, taking out a pack of nitrites in bars and eating two. Acid then went over to the cooler and pulled out an ice coffee, counting three left. Acid drank the coffee and went over to the weapons cabinet and put on the waist pack that he readied the night before.

Para woke up a few minutes after Acid. She attempted to tip-toe over to him to scare him but tripped over the gun that she had placed on the floor the night before. She fell with a thud on her butt. "Ouch.." She muttered and awkwardly picked herself back up.

Acid laughed alittle and tossed para a fruit bar. "eat up. Got a alot of preparing to do today." Acid said. Acid picked up the bottle with his pills in it and took two pills out, swallowing them and then going over to para and picking up the Red9.
"so, just tell me when your ready to learn." Acid said with a smile.

She slowly woke from her nightmare... only to find herself snuggled close to James... with his arm around her. Her face went a deep red, I-i'm sorry! She said and sat up, rubbing her face, trying to get the sleepiness away.

Para eyed the gun while eating her fruit bar. "I suppose the sooner the better..." But we should work on chorus first.

James stared at her, "Sorry for what?" he asked, and he smiled, "It didn't bother me any." he admitted, and he patted her back, "How did you sleep?" he asked, curious why she seemed so upset last night.

Acid nodded. "yeah. I agree." Acid said as he set down the gun.
Acid checked the time on his data comp.
"huh......it's 6:00 in the morning. " Acid said as he yawned.

She blushed, slightly, and smiled at him a bit more, I don't know about you, but I slept With my eyes closed. and rubbed her eyes, and murmured, That nightmare again...
