[Tambrey, Kratos]
"Oh, I'm terribly sorry," Weidman said automatically, taking a step back. Then he listened politely, making little 'hmm' sounds of active listening as Tambrey and Kratos spoke.
"Valid concerns," he acknowledged, "and Kodo's finest are certainly at your disposal. You can find their number in any phone book. The card is a direct number to what you could call a joint effort - local enforcement, League backing, and citizen involvement. And these are a direct line to me." With his free hand he drew a stack of business cards from his suit jackets and offered them to Tambrey and Kratos, fanning two out with his thumb. "We'd like you to feel there's multiple resources at your disposal."

[Ivory + Opal]
Obviously the trick had worked, and Yuri realized he had been had when Ivory seemed to tune in on what he was saying. Repede then moved over to the girl and reached out to gently tug at the end of her dress with his mouth, encouraging her to get up.
Yuri sighed and leaned back in his chair. "The furball thinks we should dance. I told him its a bad idea. I might step on your feet or something."

[Yuri + Repede]
The moment that Repede managed to get a hold on the edge of her dress, the girl's attention quite quickly went to such. The Chingling seemed to use the bridge of the puppy Pokemon's nose as a bridge to get back to his back, as if she was a part of the plan all along.
"...oh... OOoooooh... Opal, you silly girl! Is that what you were trying to tell me?"
The white chingling hopped up and down, jingling happily as Ivory-friend seemed to catch on. "Ching!"
Casually, the girl attempted to run her fingers through the puff of hair on the top of the Growlithe's head. "...please make sure you are careful with that, okay Repede?" With a slight chuckle, she gave in to the wills of the two Pokemon.
From behind her dark glasses, she glanced to Yuri's dark form. "Is that what happened 'last time' then? You stepped on a girl's feet? That doesn't sound too bad in all honesty..."
She wouldn't really know. She'd never danced with a boy before, let alone had her feet stepped on. She didn't even have the pleasure of a Father-daughter dance at any point since her father wasn't even a part of her life.

[Ivory + Opal]
Repede made sure to be very careful. He didn't want to rip Ivory's dress after all. Letting go, he looked up at the girl, letting her pet his head. There was a certain glimmer in the dog's eye, as if he hoped she could get Yuri off his a** and onto the dance floor.
Yuri folded his arms and looked away with a pout. "Yeah, something like that." Granted it hadn't been so simple as stepping on a girl's feet, but he obviously didn't really care to go into detail regarding embarrassing stories. Either way, he hadn't danced since.

[Kratos, Weidman] "It's okay; jus' didn't know y' were there." Tam' put on a grin. "Ah! So it's... kinda like a 'many hands make light work' sorta thing? That's neat!" It kind of sounded like the whole plan boiled down to people having a sense of community... across the whole region. Of course, it was still limited information. She had nodded a little as Kratos had spoken; his words had become a better way of putting forward her thoughts (or what she was trying to convey as her thoughts) about the police. Tambrey sounded quite genuine when she called it 'neat'; it was, if she had it right, ambitious and, she thought, a bit of a gamble, but still rather an impressive one. "Ooh! Thanks!" She reached for one with her free hand. "D'ya have, like, opening hours?" The dark-haired girl peered at the card. "Does that.. say Weirdma- Oh! Weidman. Sorry." She gave an apologetic, slightly embarrassed smile. 'Tharon Weidman'; that seemed memorable...

[Yuri + Repede]
Now on her feet, she turned to face Yuri, hands smoothing down the front of her dress. "...'something like that'... I'd love to get details... but... you obviously don't want to give them..." She smiled before kneeling down to the two Pokemon in front of her.
"...well... how would you two like to be my dance partners? The more the merrier, right?" She smiled before turning to face the Puppy Pokemon in a shy manner.
"...though you'll need to help me get there without bumping into people... okay?"
It might not have been what Delic-friend wanted, but Opal was always willing to be Ivory-friend's dancer partner anytime! "Chingling ling!" She waved her arms around to let her friend know she was game for dancing!

[Ivory + Opal]
At Ivory's request, Repede woofed his agreement also, fluffy tail swaying behind him.
"Dancing with Pokemon, huh? This I gotta see," Yuri said, not seemingly in a hurry to move from his spot.
Repede looked at his partner as if he were some kind of bum.
"Hey, don't look at me like that."
With that, Repede trotted towards the dance floor. He yipped towards Ivory, hoping to steer her in the right direction.

[Yuri + Repede]
With a slight giggle, the girl uttered "Thanks" to the Growlithe before he ran ahead and attempted to guide her along. Carefully, she began to make her way, seeming to slow herself down as she approached the edges of another table.
However, she eventually made her way towards the dance floor, no worse for wear. There weren't too many people there at the moment, at least it seemed that way. "Alright... so which of you wants to be my dance partner first?"
Standing up as tall as she could from her momentary perch, the false Chingling's tassels bobbed up and down as she waited for Ivory-friend to join her and Repede-friend. Once she was there and confirmed she was ready to dance, the chingling allow herself to fall off the top of the puppy Pokemon's head. When she landed, she was no longer a small Chingling.
She was a white Growlithe. Her tail wagged furiously as she let out an excited yip.
Apparently Opal was up for the offer of dancing.
With a laugh, the girl leaned forward and uttered "Why am I not surprised?" Glancing to the darker of the pair, she let Repede know "I expect you to leave your dance card open, Mister!" Behind her glasses, she winked, though the gesture was probably completely lost.

[Ivory + Opal]
Yuri watched as Ivory and the two Pokemon walked towards the dance floor, leaving him by himself. Well damn... now didn't he just feel like a bump on a log.
Repede sat at the edge of the dance floor and barked when Ivory told him her expectations. The dog then looked up as Yuri came to stand beside him, arms folded and watching the girl and Opal dance. The dog smirked, but wasn't at all surprised. He hadn't given up yet.

[Yuri + Repede]
It was true that Opal wasn't always a puppy Pokemon, but she still had worked with training Opal quite a bit over the years. She could make out the false puppy's tail wagging back and forth. "Opal, up!" Hand signals didn't work for the Ditto, but verbal commands did wonders at times.
White ears perked up and soon enough the pink nosed Puppy had bounced up onto her hind legs, balancing awkwardly with her forelegs in the air.
Once Opal's paws were in the air, the girl loomed in closer and held onto the animals paws, helping her to balance more before helping her to stand on those hind legs. "There we go... now we can dance!" Certainly, the girl hand to lean forward a bit to compensate for height differences, but that didn't make a difference. To the beat of the music, the pair moved. The false Growlithe had to take each step awkwardly on puppy paws, but the white haired girl never moved too fast for her. The girl managed to keep a small smile upon her face, giggling every so often as she had to help poor Opal with this game.
Opal likes this game! Her tail moved back and forth contently, her attention upon Ivory-friend the whole time. Perhaps it wasn't dancing like how the humans did, but if it made Ivory-friend happy, it made Opal happy!

[Ivory + Opal]
As puppy and girl started to dance, Yuri placed a hand on his hip and watched the endearing moment with a smile. It was really quite adorable, the two of them.
Repede glanced up at Yuri then looked back at Ivory and Opal. He then opened his mouth wide in a long whining yawn, followed by a groan.
"Yeah yeah, I get it," Yuri told the dog.
It really was a little pathetic with the two girls out there dancing and having fun, while the two guys just stood there on the sidelines.

[Yuri + Repede]
For a brief moment, Ivory came up with a fun idea that she wanted to try with her Pokemon. She wasn't certain how well it would turn out, since Opal wasn't exactly in this form all that frequently, so she might not have been the best one to try this with.
In a reassuring tone, the white puppy pokemon yipped out "Growl growl!"
"...you're right, Opal!" There was no time like the present to give it a shot. Backing away a couple steps, she let go of the puppy Pokemon's paws. Hand gestures meant nothing to her dance partner, so instead she said one word.
"Spin!"
While on her hind legs, the puppy barked before awkwardly hopping in place, scooting slightly clockwise with each hop. Eventually she had managed to do one turn before Ivory-friend dipped in and caught the now tired puppy's paws. That was quite a work out. Her floppy puppy tongue soon enough was out at the side of her mouth, twitching in and out as she panted loudly.
"What a good job you did, Opal!" Ivory was absolutely giddy that the "twirl" had worked as well as it did. "After this song finishes, you can rest a bit, okay?"
"Growl!"
With a giggle, the girl then finished up the song, holding her friend up until the very end. Once they were done, she brought the puppy's paws down to the ground. "Thank you for the dance, Opal!" She curtsied politely, touching the edges of her dress before moving towards the sidelines where she saw a familiar set of colors.
"Hi Repede... hopefully I didn't make you wait too long!"
Opal was tired! The moment that the song was over, she had made her way to Yuri-friend and Repede-friend then flopped over tired next to where the real Growlithe sat.

Yuri continued to watch from his post on the sidelines. When Opal did her little trick, Yuri clapped his hands.
"Hey, not bad" he said as the two of them finished and approached. "Think you could do that Repede?"
The Growlithe looked up at the dark haired man and huffed. But when Ivory spoke to him, he turned up his nose, apparently not wanting to actually dance. Instead he got to his paws and stepped behind Yuri, giving the man's legs a shove.
Conveniently, this caused him to stumble a couple steps in Ivory's direction. He managed to catch himself just short of actually bumping into the girl.
"Hey, knock it off, Repede."
The Growlithe gave an insistent bark and sat himself once again.
Yuri heaved an exaggerated sigh, then smirked. All right dog, you win this time.
"Looks like he's not feeling up to it. Mind if I take his place?" He then asked of Ivory.

[Yuri + Repede]
"Hmmm...?" Repede didn't approach when she greeted him again, which puzzled her slightly. She thought he had wanted to dance with her. He even began to move away a bit.
Her brows knit slightly upon her forehead as she straightened up, only to find someone had been bumped a bit closer to her. She was most certainly surprised, and reacted accordingly, taking a couple steps back.
"Um... oh..." The man had already stated before he wasn't in the mood to dance. Where as she had been quite enthusiastic before when it came to dancing with the Pokemon, she seemed to hesitate a bit when it came to deciding to dance with Yuri.
"...I guess... I don't mind... just..." Her voice cut out a bit, as if she had decided she didn't want to divulge a certain bit of information with her proposed dance partner. Forcing a smile back to her face, she uttered "Nevermind... um... I guess... shall we?" She didn't really budge from her spot.
Opal glanced over to Repede tiredly. "Growlithe growl growl..." She complimented him for doing a good job.

[Tambrey, Weidman]
"I see," Kratos said, taking one of the cards and peering at it. "This is more promising than it sounded," he admitted cautiously. It did seem like a more effective counter than he had initially supposed, if still annoyingly vague. "I hope it proves to be of use- this region was much more peaceful when I initially travelled through it a few years ago," the redhead said, easily putting on a... while not exactly social front, but one that was a bit more vocal than he generally preferred to be.
When Tambrey called Weidman Weirdman, Kratos disguised a flinch and sighed. Quirking an eyebrow at Tambrey, he shook his head a little. "This is what happens when you refuse to wear your glasses," he said, shaking his head a little. Whether the admonishment was simply a part of his cover or a genuine one was up for debate, however.
Not even Kratos himself could be entirely sure.
