This time however the dark avenger's attack was no match for the rock hard hide of the Onix; but rather then strike back, at the sound of two snaps from his master, Tetrax would curl up, focusing on Harden(ing) his hide to make it even tougher!
The attack had failed. Maybe she needed to spend a little longer gathering energy. Preparing for the oncoming attack, she watched as the Onix just stood there. No, she wouldn't let him strengthen his defenses. Now was the time to attack once more! It was worth taking a chance! Feeling the energy surge from her, she felt satisfied this time! It was ready to be released. Balancing on the tip of her foot claws, she then pushed off strongly adding power to the already gathered energy. "Blood from the stone!" she yelled before aiming to slam into the pokemon with Pursuit once more!

With that Tetrax would fall, his master rather promptly fleeing down the tunnel. Further down the path child would be able to see the dim glow of sunlight, the end of the tunnel. Momo had a choice now. Follow the man to the end of the tunnel and into the enemy camp, or return back to the fortress. She'd done all she needed to, but moving forward contained both danger and reward.
Momo watched as the person ran down the tunnel towards the light. Ooo! The light.... Meanwhile there were two flashes of light as two pokemon released themselves from her belt. It was Azure and Loki! Immediately Loki darted to recall Valkyrie and then he clambered back onto Momo's shoulder. With a nudge from the Ponyta, she climbed on. It was time to go towards the light! What new friends could she meet? Maybe this time the people wouldn't run away. She loved making new friends!"Peace makers talk about it~ Spinnn~" she sang brightly, pink gaze happy as they traveled towards the light and unknowingly to the enemy camp.
What came next would no doubt be something of a surprise, a Dugtrio popping out of the floor only a few steps after the girl's attempt at departure...more surprising was a rather significant oddity with this creature...it had not three, but four heads! Truly this was a miracle or mutation of the Pokemon world! "Evening Cadet" Why it even spoke perfect English! Truly astounding. "I'd get moving, that way's about to be blocked" The fourth head said, suddenly rising up. Oh...it was just a trainer. Wearing a dirt covered military uniform emblazoned with the Rocket Emblem, the man's most unique feature was that he was wearing some sort of hooded helmet which looked identical to a diglett. Strolling off to the side the man gently rapped a knuckle on the side of the tunnel wall, causing it to promptly collapse and reveal a smaller tunnel steadily leading up "This will take you back to base. You can make it on foot, or I can get Cave-in to give you a lift" The man stated, gesturing with a thumb to the Dugtrio he'd arrived with.

The group had been walking when Azure stopped. Curious, she watched as a Dugtrio popped out of the ground. It had four heads! Whoa! That was amazing! Oh wait, it wasn't a four headed pokemon. Well maybe it was time to make a new friend. She climbed down off of Azure and stood in front of the pokemon, Loki on her shoulder. The Emolga went to return Azure to his pokeball, much to the shiny Ponyta's disappointment, and then returned to her shoulder. As the person offered the choice of her walking or riding the Dugtrio, a wide smile graced her face."Gattai!" she yelled happily, before jumping to try and land on the Dugtrio! Yay! This was going to be fun!~
With speed only possible of a ground type moving through a tunnel of it's own making Momo would find herself rather swiftly whisked away from her prior location, in the wake of which would be a thunderous KABOOM. When she reached the end of this smaller tunnel she'd find herself in a much colder position. She was outside again, in what was a minimum of three feet of snow and still more coming down on her. The reason why would come in the form of a small Diglett popping it's head out, a not attached to it.
"Passable work eliminating the rats. The Engineer is presently fixing a hidden long distance communication relay several yards west from your present location. If you get lost we won't go looking for you"

Well there one had it, and within seconds of the messages delivery the Diglett and Dugtrio would disappear, collapsing the tunnel they'd used to ferry Momo here in the process. She was officially stranded near the top of a mountain with only a vague direction on where to go.
Woohoo~ That had been a fun ride! The explosions was a nice side effect. Grinning, she landed in a bundle in the snow as the pokemon dropped her off. Phew, it was kind of high. There was a flash of light as Loki had Azure appear. The Ponyta was more then happy to let Momo up so it would be easier to travel. The odd group continued the journey through the snow. The Shiny Ponyta, the Emolga and the Spinda girl! What kind of pokemon would they meet this time?!
As fate would have it the girl would encounter not Pokemon, but a massive explosion. Not anywhere particularly close to her of course, rather it seemed to be several yards off, the fire and smoke followed rather closely by a low rumbling which signalled an avalanche further down the mountain. Completely unscathed, and no doubt heedless of the disaster happening elsewhere, Momo would find herself completely unscathed...no not alone. Snow would fly as an object began speeding towards her from the direction of the explosion. No...not an object, a person! "IIIII CAAAAANNN'T STAAAAAAAAAPH!" A shrill, feminine voice cried out. Given the speed and obscuring snow it would be impossible for anyone to tell why the woman was going so fast...unfortunately it also made it impossible for the woman to see a stone embedded in the snow. One moment the woman was moving at blinding speed, and then she was rolling, gathering snow till she looked more like frosty after one too many snow-cones, inevitably rolling passed Momo and crashing straight in to one of the only pine trees for miles.
"Gug..." The woman uttered weakly as the snow fell from her body. A moment later she was on her feet, announcing to all the world "I'm ok!" With that she tapped her helmet and added "That's what these tests are for!" The way she said it sounded absolutely logical in-spite of the shear absurdity of what had just been done. Now that she was free of the snow and not moving a minimum of 50 kilometres an hour Momo would be able to see that this was a woman of roughly twice her age, standing around 5'6 with long brown hair tied back with a large rubber band. Bundled up for warmth the woman was wearing several layers of thick winter clothes, a silver skull cap helmet over her hat and a pair of goggles over her eyes....though not for long. Lifting her other hand to her face the woman would move the goggles up to her helmet, leaning in as she looked at Momo curiously "Who are you?" Something of a delayed question. Little kids shouldn't be playing in mountains. It's all fun and games until an Abomasnow eats ya and we all have to hunt it down for vengeance. I'm done here so I'll show you back to town! It's this way!" The woman declared, thrusting one arm forward and marching swiftly...until a loud beeping issued from her jacket pocket "Ok this way!" She announced, about facing and marching off in the opposite direction...only to be met with another beep "Then this way!" She turned to the left...and again her actions were met with a beeping. "THEN WHICH WAY IS IT!?" She screamed shrilly, pulling a small device from her pocket and looking at it "...oh it's that way" The woman said, absently pointing south-west of their present position.

((Am I supposed to roll while traveling with the engineer?)) Momo felt the ground tremble and Azure paused in his walking. The group turned in time to see an object launch down from the sky. What was it exactly? The Spinda girl squinted, trying to make out what it was. A bird...a plane..a pokemon?! Nope. It came crashing down and then magically popped up almost immediately. Loki was on her shoulder, sparks emitting on his cheeks as he glared protectively. But it was just a human. The odd person looked at them and started into some kind of strange lecture. Not giving Momo a chance to speak, she then began to lead them supposedly back to the village. Uh? Loki gave Momo a tap on the shoulder, whispering something into her shoulder."Uh... excuse me? Are you the engineer Snow Grimalkin?"
"Yes, and you are?" The woman asked calmly, her expression blank while her head tilted to the left in curiosity. One, two, three blinks as Snow starred at Momo before a chill wind blew. Shivering lightly the woman would suddenly grab the small girl's arm "Nevermind that! We can talk at the bottom!" The engineer declared, yanking Momo's arm and leading her off in to the mountains. It would be several minutes after this, accompanied by several beeps when Snow wandered off in the wrong direction, that the pair would reach a small cable car. Dragging Momo along with her further the two females would board, and within mere moments would find themselves underground and at the bottom of the mountain. "WELCOME TO MY LABORATORY!" Snow announced dramatically as she stepped out of the car, holding her arms up as if she was about to laugh maniacally "....Gyms upstairs. So what did you need?" She asked, tilting her head to one side. Apparently she was prone to dramatically swapping between normalcy and insanity.

This was definitely a fun adventure for the Guard member! Not only did she have crazy adventures but she met some fun people. The girl looked at Loki who continued to mutter into her ear. Oh, right! Rummaging through her bag, she then held out a brown package. "My name's Momo! I'm from...the academy! Right. I was sent to deliver this to you!" Would the engineer realize this girl was a little strange? As if that wasn't already obvious by the pinkette's spinda costume that she was wearing.
"Ah! So you must be one of Rooksies lil'Pupitars" The woman stated cheerfully, patting Momo on the head lightly before giving her something of an odd stare, a questioning look on her face "Funny. Thought you'd be more shadowy." Shrugging it off the Engineer would take the package, turn away from Momo, and unwrap it. "Seems undamaged" She announced, giving a faint nod of her head before stepping towards a work bench "Rooksie called ahead with the measurements so the hardware is already done. All I need to do is..." She trailed off in to muttering, putting the package down on the countertop and taking out several tools held at odd angles in her hands. The next few minutes was a series of banging, drilling, and the occasional soft grunt. "Finished!" Snow declared, pivoting sharply on one heel and holding out something for Momo with both hands. At first glance the device looked identical to a platemail gauntlet, in exactly Momo's size, painted green. Closer inspection would however manage to reveal two things. One, that the gauntlet wasn't painted green, but the metal itself appeared to be so naturally. Secondly embedded on the back of the hand was a large glowing stone which revealed itself whenever the gauntlet was clenched in to a fist. It was the Chrono Stone which Momo, then Riku, had discovered back on the island. "Meet your new partner, the All-Guard!" Snow declared with a grin, clearly quite proud of herself.
[The ability for the Guard Team is known as the "All-Guard", a specially powered gauntlet which provides them with three abilities. ]
1.] Nullify Damage from a Single Attack. Simply put, it nullifies all the damage the Pokemon would have taken after a single attack, and only for that one attack/turn.
2.] Nullify Status Effect. Simply put it nullifies any additional status effects from an attack. Only works on the same turn the Status is applied.
3.] Nullify Fatigue. Nullifies the damage normally taken from excessive countering.
Each of the abilities only work during the same turn which the damage is being taken. So if the student is the one doing the damage calculation they must activate the ability in that same post. If the opponent is doing the damage calculation they must activate it in the post directly after.
Each use of the ability only applies to that single instance of use, not the entire battle. Further more the ability can only be used a total of 3 times per mission.
Example 1:
Null DMG - Used 1 Null Status - Used 1 Null Fatigue - Used 1
Example 2:
Null DMG - Used 2 Nully Status - Used 1 Null Fatigue - Used 0
Example 3:
Null DMG - Used 3 Null Status - Used 0 Null Fatigue - Used 0

Momo looked at the gauntlet, holding it for a second and then slipping it on. It was shiny and pretty! Rightttt. Loki was whispering some more in her ear and he did bring up a good point. There was a gym here that could possibly help her pokemon become stronger. The stronger her friends were, the more likely they would encounter other new friends and go on journeys far and wide. Smiling, she then turned to glance at Snow oddly. Why would she think she would be shadowy? Momo was definitely a version of the sun, shining brightly. "Thank you for the All-Guard!" she said happily. It fit perfectly and though it would take a bit to get used to, it already felt like a part of her? "What type of pokemon are at the gym here? Uhhh what does it specialize in?" the Spinda asked curiously.
"You're welcome, as for what type my gym is..." She gave Momo a week "...woman with secrets are more beautiful." It was an odd way or wording it but apparently she wasn;t talking.
