Radbod was rather disappointed that there was nothing in the box, but then again the rose had been red. Nothing good could come out of a red box anyhow. Red was the colour of blood, or most people's blood. Most people had red lips and yet Radbod managed to have blue. He never really knew why he had blue lips, and wondered a moment if his blood was blue.

If his blood was blue what did that particularly mean? Was he more different? Or just extraordinary? Perhaps a bit of both with a side of tea. Sugar, please, the whole jar of sugar, and perhaps a 'bloop' of milk while you're at it. Radbod's mind was fuzzied as he looked to where Tziphorah was going. Red, so much red, so much blood-somuchcoughingupblood-itwasthereditwasthereditwasthereditwasthered...Poisoned!

Radbod actually coughed out-loud and snapped himself out of his insane thoughts.

"Erm... no, not that way if you please. Rather horrid shade of crimson... won't the white path do? Ah, well, no bother, I shant delay you any longer,"
he said after a while of mumbling and took her hand to kiss it farewell before he made a bow at the waist to the Caterpillar and chose his own road.

Radbod happened upon a chest all by his lonesome with a nice white rose on teh front of it. He popped it open and looked inside.

He went that way! I mean, left. That left. No, not your left!
Not mine either, dear, stop looking. No, not up! Left!

The feline girl inhaled the scent of the catnip greedily, trying her hardest not to escalate into a raucious fit of giggles while she hid inside the box. Her attention was taken by the light filtering inside thanks to the chest opening up. She squinted and broke into an enormous grin, "RADBOD!"
Chey squealed and sat up, a bag of coins and chocolate in one hand, her toy in the other.
"Hello! Hi! How are you? How art thou? How dost thee fare?" She leaned back in the chest and bounced the bag of goodies.
"Would you like these?" She asked, her voice higher pitched than usual.
"'Caaauuuuusssse you're gonna hafta answer me first! My riddle, that is, I suppose!" The young woman finally let loose a fit of giggles, and she cradled the baggy of candy and coin to her chest.
"Radbod, what is so delicate that it breaks the second you say it's name?" She cooed, her voice changing to something more playfully sinister.

King Alexander Red
New Red King is Like a Boss

Lyno tightened her grip on the leash, and so the dog couldn't do anything else but follow.

"F-Fine. I'll...ju...j-jump." he took a deep breath, and looked at the broken bridge, cursing it under his breath. "To all the powers that be, I curse you....you stupid, broken bridge!" he gave the bridge a hard threatening poke, as if he was picking a fight with it. "In fact, I would like to strip you off of your title as 'bridge'! You don’t deserve such an honor, for a bridge connects, and does not force people to look silly as they jump!" he huffed angrily, "You will now be called...a...a..." Alexander thought about the bridge’s new title for a moment. He wanted to call it something so degrading, so insulting, and so disrespectful that the bridge could only cower in fear. But then again, Alexander wasn't much of a witty person, and the tea had made him so giddy he couldn’t think straight, so he thought of something very simple. "A stupid, broken...uh...Rainbow! Hah! How's that for degrading?" He grinned smugly at the bridge, feeling like he had won over it.

Then again, it was just a bridge.

He looked back at Lyno and saw that she was waiting for him to jump over. So as obedient dogs go, he stepped back a few paces and ran at full speed for his jump. The moment he stretched out his leg to jump to the other side, his tongue went out of his mouth and his eyes scrunched up like he had eaten a lemon—he did look silly. He landed perfectly on the other side, and he felt amazing. He panted and turned to Lyno, shouting from the other side of the bridge "I did it! I did it Lyno! And I didn't look like a fool! Right?!" If Alexander had a tail, it would have been wagging rather wildly at the amazing feat he had done for his master. "What now, Lyno? What is your plan, so that we may win this game once and for all!" his evil grin was back, and he now had a strong hunger to win everything—maybe jumping was all he needed?

Lyno began to clap happily, "that's great Alexander! I knew you could do it! Now can you open that chest too~?" Lyno mused happily slurring her words from the amount of excitement she had stored. She smiled and urged Alexander to go on, nearing the edge of the broken bridge and waving to him for encouragement.

After seeing Alexander jump she had a sort of hoarding feeling deep in the pit of her stomach that she really...wanted Alexander to be hers. Not like just two people, but two...lovers? Hand in hand a kingdom?

She wondered about how that would go.

Radbod made the motion of tipping ones hat to the Cheshire Cat, even though he did not in fact have a hat to tip. "My dear Cheshire Cat," he cooed and mused on her riddle for only a moment before he continued, "Your riddle is much too easy, love, for it is the one thing I can never truly achieve. Too many thoughts... all the time too many thoughts... all shouting... why, it's silence my dear Chey..."

He smiled at her and sat down in front of the chest. "One more before you go, for I know you have to go. Just one more riddle for me to ponder while I wander this maze?"

The girl became ever more delighted when the handsome Hare sat down, "Why that's correct! But of course it is, 'for it's you trying to solve it!" She grinned, all too happy to hand over the bag of goodies.
"Oh?" Her ears pricked in wonder. "You want more? Very well! Here, have a bundle! If you can remember them, that is. If not, why, just recall the first one! Or have the different voices memorize each one.." She murmured, dropping off into her own consideration of that idea until she shook her head and payed full attention to Radbod.
"Here goes~! Now, these are longer, but like a song(er)! Poems, really..." She began to drift again, but recited a trio of riddles in rhythm of a song.
"No legs have I to dance, no lungs have I to breathe, no life have I to live or die, and yet I do all three!" She paused. "You heard me before, yet you hear me again. Then I die, 'Till you call me again!" She paused again, just so it was easy to differentiate which was which. "And, 'Only one color, but not one size, stuck at the bottom, yet easily flies, present in sun, but not in rain, doing no harm, and feeling no pain~!" She chirupped happily, clapping and giggling once she'd finished.
"I'd apologize if they're too difficult, but I think you'll like to ponder them! Though for you they may be rather easy...Hm..."
The girl considered pulling the hare into a hazy hug, and followed through, nearly throwing herself over the wall of the chest and onto the ground.
"You give Tziphy my regards, ya hear? Tell her I loooooove 'er! She'sh shho elegant, ya know?" her tongue began to stumble, trip and slur and she giggled giddily again, letting go of the dark-skinned March Hare but peering at him intently. Were his eyes blue? Or orange? No, no...They were most deinitely green! Or was it all three?

As Radbod departed from her side, the lovely caterpillar just shrugged her shoulders before she continued on her way, finally deciding that the red path might have a bit more tricks hidden up its sleeve so she should go down it. Her pace started out slow, her bare feet calmly padding against the grass as she gracefully held a bundle of her silky dress in her enclosed left hand. Although her dress had a grand slit that went all the way up her thigh to her hip bone, she still hadn't shaken the habit she had attained whenever she did shed her insectuine form. Such a habit had formed since when she did become "human" she would just allow her legs to fall in any design or structure of their choosing. She hardly needed to question the style of the dress because she already knew she would like it. The dress was a part of her, was it not?

Stopping at a fork in the road, the sensual beauty released her left hand, so that her dress cascaded back down to the ground, forming against her curves perfectly. Raising her now-free left hand to her collarbone, resting her arm against her perked breast, Tziphora pondered to herself whether or not she should take the path on the left. She didn't want to decide through the two on their own, so she just decided that if she weighed one on merit alone and she didn't like it, then the other it was! The one on her left had white and red roses intertwining, so there was a high chance of her getting a good gift if she chose the correct chest, but also there was an equally high chance of her getting an empty one too. Hmm decisions, decisions.

After a moment's hesitation, the caterpillar just flung caution to the wind before she started out down the left corridor of roses that she pondered over for quite some time. It didn't take long, but she found her own chest with two red roses precariously placed atop of the chest. How odd. The raven-haired beauty mused to herself, wondering why in a corridor of red and white roses would this chest be marked with only red? But with one swift motion, she raised the lid of chest and her emerald orbs widened in response. Reaching into the chest with the hand that wasn't holding open the chest's lid, Tziphora soon scooped up a pouch of impeccable tobacco that almost made the woman cry. Although she didn't show her emotions to too many people, one of the only exceptions being Chey, it didn't mean she didn't have them. Overjoyed, the woman quickly shrugged off the backpack that Radbod had chosen for her before snapping it open and placing the tobacco inside.

On a second inspection, the woman caterpillar then saw another pouch that she had completely missed. Peering into the container once more, she picked up the second pouch before turning it over curiously in her hand. Removing her other hand from the chest, allowing it to finally shut close with a satisfying thud!, before coupling itself with the other. With small, intricate motions, she was able to undo the bow that had tied the pouch closed to reveal not tobacco, but instead on exquisite selection of tea leaves from all around. Almost immediately did the crazed hare mull his way to the forefront of her thoughts, causing the corners of her nude lips to curve upwards.

                                            "Maybe Radbod might like this..."

The insectuine beauty cooed softly before she tied the pouch closed and slipped it into the backpack along with her beloved tobacco. Although she did enjoy tea alone, she wasn't that much of a fan as Radbod, so surely such a present would be good for the tea-loving hare. Raising herself to a standing position once more, Tziphora looked in the direction she would need to go and let out a soft breath of air. Travelling alone was always so boring, but she didn't mind it too much. As she walked along she just couldn't help her mind as it wandered over to the mad hare once more and what he was doing at that exact moment.

Despite his cool, calm facade, Klaus flinched like Kris did when the chest opened with a hollow click! They expected something to come out and attack them, like the ink did. Klaus considered jumping to shield himself behind Kris at the last second, but fortunately, nothing happened. They stood there like fools, hiding behind their arms for a long moment.

Kris was the first to peek out from behind Klaus. He walked over to the chest and peered inside, then jumped up high with a loud whoop. "Wouldja look at this, Klaus!" he exclaimed, scooping up the huge bag of gold that lay inside. "I always knew this one here was gonna turn out good!"

"Says the one who was hiding behind me just a second ago."

"And ya did a crap job of being my cover, too."

Klaus peered inside the chest as well and picked up another bag of goodies, filled with a wide variety of different sweets. There was even a squished muffin wrapped in clear paper and topped with a curly ribbon. He looked to his brother, who was gazing at the bag of gold with sparkling but unfocused eyes. "You are going to share that, right?"

Kris blinked, then grinned a grin that reminded Klaus too much of the Cheshire Cat. "Riiiiiiiiiiiiight."

..::..

"Hey, Klaus?"

"Yes, Kris."

"My face feels inky."

"Gee, I wonder why."

After stumbling through the maze for a while, the twins finally came across another chest, this time a rather large one adorned with white roses. Somewhere along the way, they'd seen Tziphora walking along the path. Kris made a move to approach her, but Klaus dragged him the other way before the boy could horribly embarrass the both of them.

"This one ought to be safe. It has white roses on it," Klaus stated, gesturing to the chest.

Kris stroked his non-existent beard, crucially examining the chest. "You never know what these chests hide, oh naive brother," he said in a conspiring tone. "Alas, the maker of these chests is not one to be trusted."

"Amanda prepared the chests."

Kris straightened up, blinking. Then he ruffled his ink-hardened hair, laughing loudly. "Oh, really? M'bad. Thought Chey made the chests, I did."

With a sigh and a shake of his head, Klaus bent forward to open the chest.

Radbod smiled as Chey hugged him and replied, "Well the last riddle is most certainly that which is most like myself, I do think; a shadow. Not only my skin, but I'm not quite whom I used to be; a shadow of my former self. The others are much more tricky... I suppose I shall tell you at the end of this maze, if I reach it."

He chuckled slightly before he pulled away and straightened up. "Whose bright idea was it to let a madman into a maze in the first place? This whole world is mad," he replied without taking a reward as he started to walk away. "We shall meet fairly soon, I think," he mused before putting his hands in his pockets and continuing along the path.

He hummed to himself a while before he started reflecting on the riddles. "You dance, you breathe and you live and die, yet no legs, no lungs and no life... a tree perhaps? Or maybe the wind. No, no, over-thinking things, old chap..." he said to himself before he ran into another chest--quite literally. He fell over the chest before he got up and brushed himself off.

"Well, then, that was rude," he said to the chest before he heaved open the white-flowered chest.

Tziphora had once again run into a dead end. Well this was probably the third time since the game started, but she still didn't like being hindered when there was still a game to play. Although she didn't expect to win, nor did she really want to, all was fair in fun and games. With a heave of effort, she was able to backtrack enough and take another path. It didn't take long until she was faced with an obstacle, where the prize for completing it would be the dual-colored roses that were held atop of yet another chest. Well she only had gotten one chest open, might as well go for the other yes?

Staring at the obstacle, the caterpillar, tapped her long nails against the amber stone that hung so loosely from her tanned neck. There stood before her a rather odd-looking contraption that had bars stretching from the numerous posts that were strewn about. Lifting the hand that had been tapping on her necklace, Tziphora then raised it to one of the bars before a current of energy shot through her, causing the woman to cry out in both shock and slight pain. The shock wasn't enough to kill her or even to paralyze her, but maybe that was only because she touched it for such a brief moment, and with her finger. With a light sigh, she lifted the ends of her dress into her hands before she slowly began to bend over, curve around, or step over the bars. It was a pretty tiresome process and the idea of going back the way she came nearly lost her to madness as well.

Once she was safely on the other side of that jumbled mess, the insectuine beauty lifted her hands to just touch up any ebony strands that had fallen from their clasped position, even going so far to take out some of the golden bands so she could redo their style for a moment. After she was done, she thumbed the bottom of her backpack straps before lifting them off of her shoulders, eventually ending with her shrugging off the floral backpack and placing it next to the chest which she was intending to open. Kneeling down, she wiggled her fingers in front of the white and red entwined chest before prying the top of the chest open.

                                            [ Out.Of.Mushrooms: ]

The girl waved farewell to Radbod, staring down at the goodies in her hand that he had not taken.
"Silly hare.." She mumbled, and moved onto the next box. Inside, she heard a loud laugh from the outside. "I wonder who that could be?" She wondered aloud, completely serious and curious but curiouser than she was serious...er? If she hadn't been giddy, she would've rolled her eyes at the voice she would have recognized.
When the box opened the Cheshire's eyes widened at the inky pair and she burst into giggles. "Twins! It's the twins!" She cried in her fit of laughter. "They got spit on by an octopus!" The girl's nonsensical mind and rather odd humor were very out of place for her, but no oe was going to care tonight!
"Ah..Ahahaha! Ah...Oh! Your riddle! And then you can have these..." She looked around her at the few coins and chocolates, meager becuase it was a white-rosed chest. "Oh! But lovely Radbod forgot his so I suppose you get these as well!" She jangled the bag in her hand and laughed again, her irises wide and a luminous teal.

"I have many feathers to help me fly. I have a body and head, but I'm not alive. It is your strength which determines how far I go. You can hold me in your hand, but I'm never thrown. ~" She sang, hoping Kris would at least give it a try. Hell, maybe his stupor made him smarter. Or Klaus. Klaus could try. He probably would. Maybe.

King Alexander Red
New Red King is Like a Boss

Alexander's phantom-tail began to wag furiously when he heard Lyno clapping for his success and obedience. Yet, the excitement was but a flash in the pan, for Lyno now ordered him to go on without her, and open the chest ahead. His phantom-ears began to droop; he didn't want to be apart from Lyno, at all! Though a dog has to do, what a dog has to do—especially when the master said so.

"Are you sure, Lyno? I'll be back soon...I promise!" He left the broken bridge, walking over to the chest that Lyno was referring to. Alexander looked at the chest seriously, adding it to the list of inanimate objects which he had conversed with. He held the chest on both sides with both of his hands, and he stared at the latch intently.

"Dear Chest, greetings and Salutations! I, Alexander Red, am here to open you this fine night. It has taken me great courage, and incredible humility to reach you from across the broken bridge," He released the chest from his grasp and placed his hand on the latch,

"I hope you will make my efforts worth it."

( Rolled Number: 6 )

The latch held fast, meaning that it could either be empty or have Chey inside. Alexander wrinkled his nose at the thought about how Chey could end up in the chest. Although it meant winning if he had encountered her the most, the red king still found being in the company of Chey pretty distasteful.

He scoffed at the chest, in a rather pissed off manner, "Oh dearest Chey, if it so happens that you are in this chest, then I suggest you to come out now, lest I get bored with this one." He stared at the chest with a slight glare, annoyed that it didn't contain any treasures that he felt he deserved.

I jumped.
