MATCHMAKER MATCHMAKER MAKE ME A MATCH!
Anna wasn't entirely sure why she'd decided to come to this party - it wasn't like she really knew any boils other than (ick) Neil, and she definitely didn't want any kind of romance with him or anything, ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew. But it would be a good way to meet other people? In theory? Maybe some boil who could sweep her off her feet, or something?
In practice, the room was horribly intimidating, and the witchling soon found herself over by the games. She figured FEAR compatibility was a decent enough place to start, so she put her hand on the machine and closed her eyes in a sort of panicked anticipation.
.... apparently she was compatible with two people, neither of which she knew. O-okay. Anna stepped away from the machine and sidled over to the next game down, before anyone could go AHA! YOU ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THESE PEOPLE AND MUST NOW DATE THEM! or something. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek.

diana's next stop was the whack a hunter game. So far this was her favorite. She took up her mallet and waited for the game to start. As soon as those hunters started popping up she started whacking with a fury. Once the game was finished she looked at her score. "Only six?!" she cried out dismayed before shaking her head and heading to the prize booth.

The next game was... oh, Hunters. Those kiddie story not-monster things. That was kinda cute, though Anna could tell the poor game had been beaten on by some people who seriously hadn't gotten over their fear of bedtime stories. (Or maybe, part of her brain whispered, Roch really had been telling the truth...)
Anna picked up the mallet and readied herself, putting one hand up to steady her pointy hat before the little targets started popping up. She did her best to smack them before they could disappear, and in the end... eight points? Well, that was okay. Definitely not a failure, right?
... Right... okay. Next game? Maybe.

... Free candy? That sounded okay. Anna peered at the little candies inside the machine for a moment before stepping up to turn the dial. The candies themselves didn't look all that appetizing, but apparently some of the candies gave prizes? Or something?
Worth a shot, anyway.
... HRT BURN.
What did that even mean? Anna stared at it, then tentatively put the thing in her mouth. A moment later she swallowed hurriedly, then ran off to the punch table to get the taste of dead chalk out of her mouth. Ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew-

After picking up her item from the prize booth she went back to the games and went up to the ghost-man game. She started the game and tried her best.
She only got a extra life... well she would just have to try harder.

Concentrating she tried again to get to the next level. An extra life was good but she needed to get to the next round.
She almost laughed at her luck when her freshly won extra life got used up already.

After loosing her extra life she worked even harder to get to the second level. Her fingers flew over the buttons as she played the game.
She smiled as she passed the level. Onto the next.

THESE TASTE LIKE CHALK BUT FREE CANDY IS FREE CANDY.After he'd finished with the whack a hunter game, Alexander began to notice how very uncomfortably hot he was feeling. So many student bodies in one place, combined with the physical action of attempting to bludgeon hunters with a mallet as well as the fact that he was wearing long sleeves and a suit jacket were just all adding up to one thing Way too much heat. And so, he unbuttoned his jacket, slipped it off, and folded it over one arm before scanning around the games area again, either for a friend to join or for a new game he hadn't played yet to amuse himself with until he could find Yin. Fortunately, he spotted the weremantis not too far away, over by the candy machine that he'd visited earlier. His heart lifted, but it was short lived as he noticed how very upset his friend looked. Alex assumed that meant his 'speed date' with Chuppi hadn't gone over very well. He felt like running over and throwing his arms around Yin and telling him everything would be fine, which was a ridiculous notion on many levels. Instead, he shuffled over at his usual pace, reaching past the weremantis to crank the candy machine handle once again and remove the heart shaped candy that dropped down. "Nightmare!" He said, happily giving Yin a warm smile as he held his up for the other to see. "What did yours say? And..did uh..everything go alright with Chuppi? You look a little..unhappy." Urge to hug, rising.... (One point~)

Did the candy help? Sorta. Mort manage to get one above his last try t any rate, though he was seriously doubting his rage powers if he couldn't even hit ten.

To try this again Titus wasn't sure if he dared. Supposedly if you got the right candy you could get something but all he had left this booth with was an odd aftertaste. With a sigh he turned the knob to see what he would get this time, watching the little candy plop out on the table.
Eat Chalk.
"This jacking game is rigged." He tossed the candy over his shoulder unwilling to eat it this time. If he had a stomach ache he would come back later.

What if Israfel didn't like the answer he got? Would he bad sad? Would he leave? What would Lucien do if he'd upset Israfel? Well, it was too late to worry about that now because in the process of his thoughts he'd already played!

With a continuing lack of Ash, Thackery was wandering around the party like a lost puppy. He didn't really greet anyone, and still seemed fixated on watching the door. Surely he would turn up at some point. Surely.
He leaned against the candy machine, poking around on his eyephone. Idly, he reached down to get himself another candy, smiling at the message. King of Pain. Two times in a row. Yeah, he was a king. He was so awesome. The most awesome. That's why Ash loved him, he bet. Because of his sheer level of badass.
He didn't eat the candy this time, pocketing it. It would later show up on a shelf in his room, where it would be displayed with pride. He was king.

The phone could only entertain him for so long, and there were plenty of other games that he hadn't even touched, so Thackery pocketed the phone as well, careful to avoid crunching his candy. That thing was important.
He stared at the cardboard cutouts, head tilted, laughing to himself, and didn't even have the chance to say that he was going to play the thing before some overeager gnome was blindfolding him.
