Chi raised an eyebrow at him but didn't question it. She made sure the door was shut before making her way to his bedside, only to practically collapse into the chair. "I... I did it... I altered the cure's structure to adapt to your body... To adapt to the blood of the Uchihas..." She showed him the contents of the pouch, which held and empty syringe and three vials filled with a bluish-colored serum.

The Hokage nodded to the Inuzuka. "Yes, I found the old mission request."
Vale looked at the vials for a moment, before closing his eyes. "Let's hope it works."

"Hopefully..." Chi said quietly. She took the syringe and loaded one of the blue vials. She made sure it wasn't jammed before resting a hand lightly on Vale's arm, close to where the injection point would be. "R-ready?..."

Vale nodded, closing his eyes, and letting his arm go limp. He gripped the sheets on the opposite side, awaiting the needle.

Chi nodded and cleaned the area first before finding the vein. "Hold still... Three. Two. One..." Then she injected the serum with the syringe, pulling the needle out afterwards and healed the small puncture.

Vale just layed there, waiting for the needle to go in. When he felt it go in he froze up, only relaxing when it was pulled out. He said not a word, instead looking over at Chi.

Chi wiped off the syringe before returning it to the pouch with the remaining two vials. Then she met his eyes, silent for a good few minutes before breaking the silence. "I-if you notice any changes, good or bad, be sure to tell me or one of the medical ninjas helping out..."

She went silent again before looking down at the pouch in her hands. "Th-here's no need for thanks... I said that I owed my life to you because you found my cure, and I meant it. You even found your own cure in a way. It just needed a little tweaking..."

"It's just... My own clan lives in infamy because Kimimaro worked for Orochimaru. I can't do anything about that because there's proof that he was working for that snake and fought against the Leaf. With you... The Uchihas were once a proud clan, and then fell because of Itachi's attack. There's more behind that though, and if we can prove it, we'll restore the Uchiha name..." Chi sighed and turned her gaze towards the window. "Think of it as a way to help redeem a fallen clan in replace of being unable to help my own."
