When he started coughing she reached out, grabbing his hand and squeezing it tightly as if to say 'somehow it will be alright.'
She wished that she could talk so badly...especially when he closed his eyes. She wanted to tell him that it was just like staying focused for the martial arts that he was trying to teach them...and that everything would be fine. Friends were like family. Family was extremely important to her. She wasn't going to let anything happen to him.
Her breaths came in and out, in and out. Even if he couldn't see it, she was still breathing with him... It seemed to help her stay calm as well.

Alida was startled as Ritsu of all people came flying into the office to beg the teacher to help Yuki. Yuki? She looked out the door, and there was Yuki, off to one side, with the pale girl next to him. Something seemed to be wrong, but with the girl in the way, she couldn't tell what.
She looked over at Sylas, and then up at the teacher, and squeezed his hand reassuringly. This seemed urgent. While they were waiting though... I'm going to write down my description of him. That way we don't waste any time. She found a notepad and after pulling Sylas to sit on the old, broken down couch next to her, she began to write it down before she forgot.
The teacher had spun back to the phone and dialed up the number provided 'in case of emergency' and waited impatiently while the line rang...
((Frieze plays Hatori, right?))

Sylas looked down at the paper and nodded his head. She was going to tell what he looked like. That was good because he hadn't seen too much other than the floor. He looked around the office, his heart beating faster out of nerves. Oh he hated being in places like this. All kinds of people running around. More so because of what was goign on outside of the office. Someone seemed to be doing poorly and they needed help. "Uh, maybe we should just let them go first. I mean, it isn't like what happened to me is too important compared to what seems to be going on for other people." He flushed and looked at the floor.

Ring ring. Ring ring. The young doctor-in-training kicked off from the wall, riding his rolling chair back to his desk. Ring. In one swift movement, the phone was lifted to his ear, "Doctor's office, Hatori speaking." His fingers tapped along his desk idly, the less-than-enthusiastic young man awaiting a response.. ".. What?"-- (Skip phone call for now, okay? o___O; And yes. Hatori got some time out from school to finish setting up his clinic. )
The dark haired young man slipped on the lab coat Freize had given him- It was rather cold outside, and this was the only form of protection he had with him in the office. He quickly headed out, straight for the Elementary school. He was there in a matter of moments, being that although Hatori never seemed too excited about all of these things in any way, he had his ways of getting where he wanted to go, when he wanted to be there.. He arrived in the teacher's office, face lacking vital emotion, "Where is he?"

The teacher motioned to the gym, surprised at the doctor's sudden arrival. "He's out in the gym, this young man knows more than I do, since he ran to tell me."
Ritsu cast his eyes down and fidgeted with the sudden attention called to himself, but he did risk a quick glance to see if Hatori looked mad or not. "I... I told her as fast as I could... Hatori-san. Yuki-san is over there." He was forcing the words out, but he was determined not to let Yuki down.
He led Hatori back the way he had come, other kids stopping what they were doing to look at the strange man who had appeared in their midst.
Alida, on the other hand, had finished what she was writing, and taking Sylas by the hand again, moved to the teacher and reached up to give it to her.
"What's this? A description... of that man? You remembered all this? Good girl! This will help a lot. You don't have to worry, we'll take care of it. You two kids run along back to class. I need to call the Principal again."
Alida nodded, and turned towards the door, letting the teacher do what she needed. She felt very proud because of the praise. I knew my memory would pay off some day! She beamed at Sylas, hoping to share her good mood with him. She didn't want him to be upset anymore.

((*gives hari a cell phone o__o so people can annoy him while hes in school too. hah.*))
Somehow she knew just what to do.. as much as his mind wanted to get away from her, all those fears bubling up to the surface and melting away his calm, refined mask of a personality making him want to run for his life.. Still something with her was calming him. Making him not want to run as much.. Slowly he opened his eyes, looking around the gym. Bad idea. Most of the kids were now staring, after all ti was hard not to pay attention to someone who looked like they were dieing in the corner of the gym.
Still that fear from before rose up.. they were all staring at him. Looking right at him. And when he was so weak.. Something snapped, his eyes glazed and slowly everything faded... and he blacked out, slipping the rest of the way to the floor unconsious. It was probably better for him, the more he paniced the worse it had gotten.

Sylas smiled at Alida, her smile had an infectious side to it that he wasn't able to ignore. Still holding her hand he nodded to the teacher and wondered where they were supposed to be now. He had missed gym class and the game that they were all playing, and right now he really wasn't up for something that involved running from objects being thrown at him.
"If they are still in gym, do you think I would be in trouble for not wanting to play?" He looked at the floor again and scuffed one bare foot on the tiles. Hmm, why do people wear shoes? He hated them, it was a good thing no one was really looking at his feet, he may have gotten in trouble then. His dad had given him some and he tossed them somewhere.

( Hatori:... Yay. -____-)
A brisk nod, and the man strode along after the younger Sohma, still appearing much less concerned than he should be for Yuki. It was a talent. The art of suppressing your thoughts and emotions. Most of the Sohma's could most probably write a book on that. What an exciting book that would be.. He glanced towards Ritsu, in his version of an uncertain manner (which isn't really saying much. It isn't too noticeable.) And then he spoke in an assuring manner, "You did well, Ritsu-kun." He knew how the boy could be, they were related, after all. And he could almost sense his nervousness.. Or something of that sort. And so the dragon did his best at reassuring the boy in the only way he thought possible.
A pause as the young man's dark gaze fell on the unconscious Yuki. He ground his molars together slightly, a habit he picked up when he was younger, and had managed to hide after much scolding from his original father.. He never quite quit it.. It was his way of dealing with stress. Grind grind.. And then he was at Yuki's side, lifting the boy's arm gently in order to check his pulse.. Grind. Oh great.. C'mon, Yuki-kun.. He tenderly began to lift the boy, seeing that he would have to take him to a much more... Calm spot. Cozy would be best. His gaze wandered idly over their audience before he began stalking off.

When Yuki passed out her face went deathly pale...almost as if she had stopped breathing as well. Her fingers held on that much more tightly to his hand...letting go only when the young man lifted him away.
She bit down on her lower lip tightly with a determination to keep the tears at bay as she sat there on the floor, staring after them. She wanted to follow...to make sure that everything was alright.. But what if it wasn't?
With a sniffle, she pulled her legs up to her chest, resting her cheek against her knees.

((*pats* there there Hari.. o_o))
Yuki made a soft grunt as he was picked up. His brows furrowing when his hand slipped from Ash's.. He was still there atleast, in that dark area between conciousnes and unconsiousness.

The dragon hesitated a moment, and then spoke back towards anyone who would hear, "I've been taking care of Yuki-kun for a long time now. I wouldn't worry." And then he continued off in his quick pace.
Someone jostled him in the hallway, and were met with the almost chillingly blank stare that Hatori could manage sometimes, now moving into the first room he could find with some sort of cushioned chair, laying the smaller boy down.. A hand rested lightly over the mouse's chest, just checking his breathing for now. If all went well, the boy's unconscious state might have helped him quite a bit.
The youth then set aside the bag he had brought along, kneeling on the floor beside the chair, snapping it open and then proceeding to rummage through it.. Ah.. Upcoming migrain.. He had been up all of last night and the night before, and had actually been settling down to nap in his chair back at the office when he had gotten the call. It was better this way. He wouldn't have wanted to fall asleep there, anyways. He pulled out a bottle and a needle.. He would have to give a small injection, and then, once the boy woke up he would have to give him a pill to make sure this didn't happen again. Atleast for today, while he was in school. Unless he exhausted himself again.

His breathing was still a bit labored, but it was slowly getting better.
He didn't move when the needle went in, Hatori was good afterall.. it never really hurt. His breathing slowly evened, soon the pained expression on his face fading into a peaceful sleeping one.
He'd Probably wake up in a few minutes.
(So exciting.)

Soon after, the teacher came from the office to find the class playing, not exactly in an orderly way, but no one was causing a ruckuss... wait.
"Jeffrey Nelson, what do you think you're doing?!" She strode over to the bully, who had just yanked a jump rope from a smaller girl's hands and pushed her over, laughing. He looked over at her with a look of terror in his eyes.
"I want you to give that back this instant." She stood there with her hands on her hips.
He did so.
She waited, face looking grimmer with every passing second.
He scuffed his foot on the ground and mumbled something fairly unintelligible.
"I didn't hear you." She raised an implacable eyebrow.
"I said I'm sorry." He said it with what sounded like conviction, but as the teacher nodded, and turned away to check the girl, he stuck his tongue out at her back. She didn't see him.
((Just to liven things up for the rest of us. Sorry, Yuki. You don't get to kick the bully's butt today. Maybe Kyou. *grin* ... Where is Raving, anyway?))
