We are the Sirens of Spain...

The girl's answer made him think for a few moments. He wasn't sure what a 'sonice boom' was, but it sounded big and explosive, which was a pretty cool thing in his mind. "What happens when you do it?" he asked, trying to find out more about the ability as they stood in store. His mother was still busy, though it seemed as if he attention had moved onto hats, specifically baret's. He thought they looked funny, but as long as she didn't try to make him wear one, he wouldn't bother her, especially when he was talking to this girl.

Yvette wasn't sure how to describe it. It was just something that kind of happened to her. "Well I scream and then things get pushed away from me and if they are fragile and hit a wall or something then they smash into pieces. I also can fly too." The girl answered about what she could do.

We are the Sirens of Spain...

Once she explained more of her abilities, he nodded, a small thought of his remembering that 'sonic' meant sound. So, her sound was a scream. "Oh!" he exclaimed in understanding, since sounds and speech were all very important to Sirens, along with natural beauty, but he didn't worry so much about that sort of thing when he was still so young. "I've never heard of one of us that could fly." he commented in wonder. Most magic in the race was associated with the sea, or with emotions, but he'd never known that one could have an affinity for flight. "Can you take me flying some time?" he asked, thinking that she lived somewhere in the city and therefore they would be able to meet again.

Yvette frowned and shook her head no. There was no way she could do it right now. Her body was still young and it needed some time to develop and grow stronger. "I can't right now. You'll have to ask me when I get older." She told the boy with smile. It was kind of like a promise. "Maybe you can go to Reed's with me." She added.

We are the Sirens of Spain...

A flash of disappoint went across his face, but he understood. The adults were always saying how they would get older and stronger, and he knew that they were right. However, when she mention asking again when she was older, he nodded, a smile appearing as he said, "Okay." She spoke again, and he was confused for several seconds until he remembered what 'Reed's' was. A school where lots of magical creatures went. He knew that three members of the royal family had attended the school, so perhaps his mother would allow him to do so. There was fear of the school for several years when one princess died and it was revealed that Victor's daughter was a teacher, but when Aurora returned, many relaxed about the issue, and a few sirens were sent as a show of good faith. "I'll have to ask, but I'll try." He was about to speak again when he heard his mother call to him. He sighed, as he was having fun talking to this girl, but took a step away and near his mother anyway. Pausing, he asked Yvette quickly, "Can we be friends?"

Yvette smiled. She wasn't against making friends with anyone. "Yes. Let's be friends." She agreed before her own mother called to her. The girl peeked over to her mother and noticed that she was holding up a Spanish child's dress for her to wear and a hat and glasses for herself. "I have to go." The girl commented as she ran towards her mother. The woman paid for the stuff they had before leaving the store.

We are the Sirens of Spain...

Happy to have a new friend, Ceasar returned to his mother as Yvette went to her own. He would look forward to seeing her again, though it was obvious that he believed she didn't live far away. Still, it wasn't worrisome to a child, so once he was back at his mother's side, they left the shop and disappeared into the crowd of people.

Yvette was pulled by her mother into a restroom and stripped of her clothes that said that she was wealthy and not from here. Tabby didn't want her to stand out anymore. Once the girl was dressed Tabby then pulled her hair up and put it under a hat and her eyes behind glasses. It was then that they walked down the street. Tabby found a lemonade stand that served some churro's too. The woman ordered them each a drink and a churro.

We are the Sirens of Spain...

Feliciana was on her way home from work when she bumped into Tabitha, causing her to stop and turn back around, her tone apologetic as she said, "Oh my, I'm sorry miss." She smiled, then took a step back, only to find that she'd almost stepped on Yvette. Making a sound of surprise, she faltered, then told the girl, "Sorry!" Apparantly, when one worked behind a desk all afternoon it made one's balance veer off; at least, that's what she was going to tell herself rather than admit that she was simple being clumsy from sleepiness. Yes, it would be best to return home as soon as she could, before she ended up knocking over some poor vendor's cart.

Tabby was glad that she had gotten her food before the cart was knocked over. Tucking on drink into her arm she moved her daughter away so she didn't get wet or dirty. She then handed her her drink and dessert. "Stay here while I help." She told the girl. The woman set her stuff down next to her daughter then walked over and used her magic. the cart flipped right up and the wasted goodies went to the trash.

We are the Sirens of Spain...

As he moved to fix the mess made, the cart vendor was unaware of Tabitha prescence until suddenly his cart was upright and the mess of food gone, already thrown away without him having to move for it. Looking for the source of the magic, he spotted Tabitha, though she didn't appear to be anyone but another tourist. Still, her magic was very helpful, and he flashed the woman a smile before bellowing out, "Thank you very much, miss!" He would have offered her food, but she'd already bought such from him. An idea occured to him, and he beckoned to her after producing a plastic card from his pocket. It was shaped and felt much like a credit card, and in a way that's exactly what it was. As a people, the Sirens had long ago found a way to keep track of their debts, and this was one such way. Approaching the woman, he offered her the card; should she ever be in the area, she would be able to exchange it for something from his cart, as he would be reminded of the debt.

Tabby at first wasn't sure what it was then she noticed it was like a discount card that a person could get once they bought so much food. It seemed that she wanted to reward her for helping. The woman a smiled and took the card. Not because she was coming back, but to make the man feel good about himself. Tabby then returned to her daughter so they could eat.

Yvette's mother didn't know that she was here. The only person who knew that she had taken time to come out here was Lyn. The girl needed someone to cover for her while she was gone. The young half-siren told her friend to just say that she was sleeping over at her house if someone called the house. If someone called her phone then that was a different story. She would just answer it herself. The young girl used her own powers to get on the roof of the palace before climbing down the stairs. She wanted to talk to her father about being a right princess and do it without her her mother knowing that she was disobeying her.

The Siren Prince, Seth Solindo.

Having officially been corinated as king, Seth was as busy as ever. With so many people and plenty of land, he was hard pressed to keep the order. He had even kept any celebratory parties at bay, saying that it would be best to wait until the birthdays of both himself and his neice's for such an expanditure. Still, he was granted with roughly fifteen minutes of personal time until he had to return to his dreaded office. During this time, he chose to walk around a bit, trying to stretch out the muscles in his legs and allow for some freah air. His steps carried him through two hallways, then a flight of stairs. Reaching the top, he yawned, his gaze idly moving about the area before resting upon a girl; his girl. Frowning with confusion, he hurriedly descended the stairs once more, stumbling over the last step as he demanded, "Yvette Leni Kent! What in the-" He broke off when he reached her, sweeping her into a hug as he realized that this was indeed his daughter. "Where's your mother?" he questioned with suspicion, trying to think of reason for this unexpected visit.

Yvette was surprised that she found her father... well he found her so fast. She smiled and gave him a hug. Even if she hated what he did to them she still loved him. He was her father after all. "She's at a fashion shoot in Paris. I thought I would visit since I was allowed to sneak away." She answered about where her mother was. It was one of the hard things about coming, knowing that just a few hundred miles from her was her mother. "I wanted to come and talk to you because mama is being selfish. I know she doesn't want me to be a princess, but I want to be." She told her father hoping that she was starting on the right foot with this. "We walked around on the streets one time and a lot of people smiled at us. they were happy that I was your daughter."
