(17 - 14) + (6 - 7) = 2 x 2 = 4 DMGThe Rattata would soon be forced to realize the complexities of the ear didn't simply effect ones ability to hear, but also their equilibrium; the ability to balance and keep from tripping over ones own paws.
As the rodent would inevitably fumble forward, the Zorua's exercise would come to a halt. Tilting his head, one of the Dark-Type's ears would rise as the other fell ">'Ey now lil'miss, don't start throwin yaself at me yet! Haven't even started the performance yet!<" Requiem declared. It would seem in the midst of his vocal practice, he'd completely missed the rodent's actual intent.

The attack would hit as she sunk all the way to the ground ....her ears held down by her paws as she sunk all the way to her belly. She couldn't take noise, she couldn't stand the sound. IF she had only had more strength ...no she had it. As she looks at the Zorua and lunge forward with another tackle the moment he started to prattle.
She had a family to get back to, and if she didn't take this fight seriously ...she would never return home .....as she used tackle then.

With a twitch of his tail, the Zorua's would begin to move in a series of smooth, swift movements. His legs acted in perfect harmony, skipping about and carrying him out of the path of the Rattata as if he were dancing with her upon a stage. Indeed, all the world was a stage to this Pokemon, every battle a performance.
">Sorry lil'miss, I don't dance with amateurs; even the pretty ones!<" Requiem declared with a playful wink, a roguish smile forever on his muzzle.
Nodding his head faintly, the Zorua's tail would flick in harmony with the sway of the rest of his body. Closing his eyes momentarily, the small black fox would open his mouth and begin to howl, the sound both eerie and beautiful as he began to slowly form words. He was feeling the beat, and soon the little rocker would be singing, performing a full blown Round![Song]

She felt the blood rush to her face at the comment. She would have swoon if the smell of blood on the boy didn't remind her constantly of her fate if she fell. It was strong, that copper scent ...and she knew the scent of her own kind. He would kill her ...even if the little fox had no intention of it. She couldn't afford to die ...as she would leap try and protect herself from that sound with all of her might. Pressing her ears down, trying to hum to herself, anything to keep out that sound that would bring about her death.

(9 - 4) + (6 - 7) = 4 DMGBe it that the note was too high, or the Rattata's movements too slow, the results would prove to be the same. Blood would flow freely from the Pokemon's ear as one of her eardrums burst beneath the Zorua's musical torment. A song capable of causing pain and joy in one fell swoop.
His voice dropping in pitch, Requiem would once again begin to dance about the 'stage' closing his maw and humming the chorus as he waited for the appropriate time to start singing again. Of course most of the music remained in the confines of his own head; but that mattered relatively little to the black fox. His only goal aside from victory, was to make this world rock just that much more!

The pain flared even further in her ....as she would in her own defense charge forward. Her ears down .....as she felt the blood oozing from them ....her hearing at that moment was impaired ...a fact that would become a problem for the Zorua if he choose to continue that round of attack as he would come forward swiftly. Fast, swift, a blind charge .....she would try and hit him with tackle.
She was losing so much ground, if this continued she knew...she would die.

((Would there be any repercussions to Raven stepping out to take Requiem to the PokemonCenter after I finish murdering this Rattata?))An animal once cornered is at it's most dangerous, and a mother's will to protect her young can shatter steel; never were such words so true before now, as Requiem was slammed into the wall, his small black body leaving a solid imprint in his wake. A single strike would down the fox, but only barely.
Briefly Raven would cluck his tongue in irritation. given the Zorua's past exploits he'd hoped for better from him. No matter...the Dark-Type was young once more, still not quite use to his weaker form one would imagine.
Reaching to his belt, the child would recall Requiem, and in the same breath he would call out something far more intimidating. With a loud caw which echoed down the passage, his steely wings scraping against the metal walls as he rose to his full height. Crowe had defeated two of the rodents this day...and it would seem it was time for a third!

Bio: Crowe was first encountered upon the second ring of Beginner Island amidst a crater. With wings that shimmered like steel, the bird no less landed upon the ground and challenged Raven to a duel directly. Battle fiercely against Genn, the conflict seemed to take an eternity as the two near immovable objects clashed. With a swift hand, Raven was able to throw a single PokeBall and capture the bird...with a slight chase soon to follow. Struck by the ball in the air, the capsule soon flew over the side of the crater, forcing Raven to pursue it by sliding down the side upon Genn's back. During the process of which the boy encountered a Sneasel...and soon both he and it were hanging off the crater by a branch. After a struggle and much dramatics, Raven was able to retrieve the ball, and save the little Dark-Type he had accidentally placed in a perilous situation. Since then Crowe has shown a strong sense of honour, reacting to nearly every battle as if it were a duel with that very thing on the line.
Shortly after the elimination of the Strike Student Trix's Meinfoo, Crowe too met oblivion at the hands of the girl's Magmar. His body burned down to cinders, an egg would form from the ashes due to the ability of Team Legacy's Guard Student. Reborn from the egg soon after, Raven gave him the same name he'd held in his previous life. Yet the experience of his death has changed the Skarmory. The memory haunts him, sending chills down his spine...the Skarmory has rarely spoken since the initial squawks at his rebirth.

IT happened all at once, she hit him ...and it was hard as she watches him go down. The imprint of his collusion was enough to bend the walls just a bit ...as she smiles happily.
She was free to go home now. That was her thought, but then suddenly another flash of red that came after the one that reclaimed the Zorua. Her ears went down and she looked quite scared.
The Rattata took one look at the Skarmory and she squeaked loudly.
There was already blood coming from her ears which was enough to set her on end, and she had her tail curled up and around her paws in a stance that was nothing more than looking cowardly.
Why? She had never hurt anyone, so why did they want to kill her?
She whimpered lightly before she would uncurl slowly. She had to stand her ground. She couldn't fall now ...as she open her maw wide and gave a loud Screech at him.

"One's way of life cannot always coexist with others. Harm can be done in many forms" Raven would state calmly, crossing his arms as he set eyes upon the Rattata. He couldn't read minds, but he'd seen that look before, recognized that glance which simply said 'why?'. The answer was simple. What the Rattata did to survive conflicted with that of the Academy. Such reasons were the truth behind any war.
While the boy simply stood there, the Skarmory was met with problems off his own. Still fighting in such a cramped space, his options were few and far between. Attempting to evade the sound by retreating out of range wasn't one of them.
Left with few alternatives, the Skarmory would bring his break against the nearest wall, tilting it, and then scraping it against the side. The sound produced would likely be shear agony. Like rusty nails on a chalkboard. The idea behind it was quite simple. He was trying to drown out the rodent's Screech, as well as distract her.

Though in this case, it was a foolish attempt ..the sounds would blend together instead of making it weaker ...it would become stronger ...much fuller sound. Rebounding over and over, becoming stronger with each of those rebounds ....as the screech would do it's job and drop his defense .....even as the Rattata decided to risk everything. She would counter-attack then as she rushes at him with her shoulder straight.
He was cramped in this space, and she was free. She didn't have to think twice about her choices.

"She's already weak, end this fight with Peck!" Raven commanded, gesturing with one arm at the oncoming Rattata. A dramatic and unnecessary gesture on his own part, but the loud shout and movement might be enough to distract a naturally skittish rodent. At least, so he hoped.
Flaring his wings, sending sparks as the metals scraped against one another, the Skarmory would snap his beak shut tight and lunge forward, aiming for the same location he had so many times previously. The middle of a Rattata's head had revealed itself to be an oddly vulnerable location to strike...

Blood would spread across the floor ...as her body drops limp to the ground as more seem to curl from underneath it. That beak had gone through the top of her head and into her brain ....as her eyes looked beyond dully. There was nothing else in them....she could see nothing else ...nor would she ever.
Her last thoughts were that of her children ...dying of starvation or becoming the meal of another rat. She had failed them ......as she died.
(15 - 3 + 8 - 7 = 13 X2 =26DMG)

The scurrying of feet would have a Rattata crossing over their head. Eyes narrowed, he was watching them, but he was currently keeping out of reach of them ...as he moved about the pipeline. If done currently there was a way to bring this pokemon down as it crosses each of the pipe walkways ...tail flicking from one side to another.
