saix stoped looking up at the sky as he had seen enough, he shook his head from side to side a bit, a odd yet strange feeling wash's over him, saix looks around and then gets up and runs at fullspeed, in the blink of an eye he is long gone and invisible...

Having chosen to escape her room now that she was unpacked, the girl moved about the campus with an oddly high amount of caution. She was careful to avoid groups of people, and always seemed drawn in the direction she couldn't hear voices. She came to a stop beneath a tall tree, glancing up at it's branches from her position on the ground. It was a very nice tree, and certainly very old to have grown so large. Looking at the ground, she kicks at it to ensure that it was, indeed, just grass. Ciel yawned, raising a hand to cover her mouth in an attempt to stifle it. She was tired, the boat ride there had been terrifying and hadn't been able to sleep. Moving to sit beneath the tree, she leans her back against it before unceremoniously falling asleep.

"Hullo, my name is Lorina Jinn"A certain calico cat, which was no more than two feet in length, was precariously perched upon a branch, her tail swaying with indignation at a bird who'd decided to fly away from her claws. The cat fussed over the loss for a moment, before suantering across the tree's limb to her owner. There, she began to bat at a sleeping figure's hair until accidentally running the pad of her paw against her cheek, sparking a cry of surprise from the girl. It seemed that the animal had its claws out enough to scratch her skin. "Gah! What the hell?" Unfortunately, during her state of grogginess, she lost her balance, and unceremoniously fell from the tree. A short string of muttered curses followed, accompanied by threats of making the cat into a stew for her friend's dog. Propping herself up and onto her elbow, she glanced up with just enough time to see said cat leap graciously onto the grass beside her. "Stupid show-off."

Stirring slightly at the sound of a voice from above, the shifter beneath the tree jumped as someone came crashing down to the ground. Automatically, she leapt to her feet with her hands out in front of her as if to defend herself. Spotting that the one had fallen from the tree, not jumped as if for some sort of ambush, she moved closer to investigate. "Are you okay?" she questioned, keeping a few steps away.

"Hullo, my name is Lorina Jinn"After a few moments of glaring at her cat, Lorina looked up at the sound of another voice. "What? Oh, yeah, I'm fine." Scrambling to stand, she brushed off her jeans and shirt, noting happily that she was correct, and only a bruise or two would form later; nothing serious. Straightening, she eyed the girl for a second before speaking again. "I just...well, I fell. My cat startled me." She flashed a smile, placing her hands on her hips as she felt the calico wind itself around her feet. Great, now she feels bad. Sighing at her animal's sudden kindness, she spared a glance around; by all appearances, it seemed that this girl was here alone. Honestly, Lorina would be surprised if more than a handful of people knew about this location.

Glad that the girl seemed to be all right, the girl relaxed only slightly. "You fell from up there?" she looked up, eyeing the branches high above. "And you're sure you're okay?" she questioned again, reaching up to brush a stray strand of lilac-colored hair from her face. Moving her hands to her pockets, she resists the strong urges to flee. No, she wasn't going to allow paranoia ruin her life. She was at a school of other magical beings, and surely she had nothing to fear from others who had probably endured something similar if they had lived in the human world as she and her family had. Glancing down to see the cat that had been mentioned, the girl tilted her head slightly. Was it a cat or was it something pretending to be a cat? She couldn't really tell, but she supposed it didn't really matter so long as it was friendly.

"Hullo, my name is Lorina Jinn"Shrugging, Lorina leaned down to pick up the calico, if only to stop the cat from batting at her shoelaces. "Yeah, only a bruise or two for later." She smiled again, althouh it faded slightly when she noticed the girl's reactions. She seemed rather...tense. "I'm Lorina, by the way. Lorina Jinn." she stated awkwardly. There wasn't much to say when you just fell from a tree and in front of a stranger. Yet, she didn't mind trying to lighten the atmoshpere with words. "How about you? Did an acorn fall on you or something?" Granted, the tree was quite obviously without acorns, but it didn't defer her thought; maybe a squirrel got lost.

Trying her best to remain calm, and avoid the desire to run away, the girl simply nodded as the other student introduced herself. "I'm Ciel. Ciel Galahad." she returned, knowing quite well that not introducing herself in return could be taken as rude. Wanting to avoid such, she did her best to relax. Raising an eyebrow at the question, Ciel shook her head. "I don't think this tree even has acorns, actually." the girl responded, looking up just to be sure. "Why do you ask?" it seemed like an odd question to her, not quite understanding where such a question had come from.

Absently, she ran her hand across the cat's head, knowing how silly her thought was. "I take it you're fine, then?" While she wanted that to be the truth, then she would be left without an explanation of Ciel's uneasiness. Resigning herself, she chose not to pry; the girl was probably stressed over an exam. "But can I ask what you were doing out here?"

Maybe she wasn't as good at hiding her uneasiness as she had originally thought. Doing her best to relax, she does manage to appear slightly less tense. She nodded at the question, giving it the short reassurance that it would require. As for why she was out here, she wasn't quite sure how to explain. Should she tell the girl she had been avoiding other students? "My brother and I just arrived here this morning. I was exploring when I decided it was a nice day for a nap outside." it was best not to say that she had gone out of her way to avoid other students, as that would surely create an awkward moment. Even though her attempts had failed, she didn't mind all that much; Lorina seemed to be a nice sort of person, and so she didn't feel the need to stay completely on guard.

"Hullo, my name is Lorina Jinn"Raising her eyebrows at the girl's response, Lorina spoke more enthusiastically. "Oh! So, you're new?" Of course, she'd already been given that answer, but it was asked automatically. Really, for a student who'd spent two years at the school, she would have expected to notice a new arrival; especially one that had purple hair. However, that was clearly not the case. "It is a nice day, though. I'd had the same intentions of sleeping all afternoon." That was before she'd fallen out of the tree, but she refrained from mentioning something that she found obvious, and though she would be hard-pressed to admit, embarressing. Letting the cat jump from her arms, she continued lightly, clearly feeling more casual now that she had a topic to follow. "You know, if you ever need help finding something, I have a friend who's been here for like, seven years. He knows this campus better than any teacher. His name is Rich Lawrence." Smiling, she placed her thumbs through the loops of her jeans as she offered, "And if you can't find him, just come get me and I'm sure Patches, my cat, would be able to help." The calico in question simply continued its work on her shoes, seemingly ignorant of being granted any knowledge; however Patches was a smart cookie, if Lorina said so herself. Twice, the cat was able to keep her from getting lost.
