Suddenly, a lone blonde stepped forward, standing protectively above Kana. He held his staff out, one half an icy good and the other a fiery evil with a black talon sticking out.. It was Artemis Lylatt, and his eyes were locked fiercely on Azura. "Hold!" He shouted. "You will stay your hand, and back away! Death is no solution; she will simply continue to return. She must atone for her wrongdoings, and see the error in her waus. This is my decision on the matter, and I'll not hear your judgement on the matter! I shall take her into my custody, and you shall leave and say nothing more on the matter. Understood?" He stated firmly, his staff still held out, prepared for combat if that's what it came to.

At the sudden appearence of Artemis, and the fact that he was strangely protecting Kana, the wave that would have taken her out into the rip tide, stopped, just froze in mid-air. While the display was quite fastinating, that wasn't what she was going for. Hurting Artemis wasn't part of her plan. In seconds, the wave began to lower as well as the waters calmed. "What are you doing? You are protecting someone who has killed multiple times, sent me and my family into the Fire Lands, and continues to try and destroy it daily? I can't risk them because of her. She is evil, and will only get to you next. " Obviously, she didn't care about his 'commands'. He was in no position to tell her what she could and couldn't do, no matter who's son he was. Her life and family were far more important then the life of someone who would not hesitate to kill them just for the thrill. "You will only put your families lives in danger by aiding her. Are you up for that? "
Kana, meanwhile, for only a brief second could be seen smirking. This was different. But she would run with it, see where it got her.

Artemis' conviction never faltered, and his gaze remained stern and his staff high. "I have seen numerous siblings travel this path, only to end in ruin. My own twin brother once walked the same path. I shall not abandon a lost soul, and you shall not question my judgement. If you should decide to attack, I will give you fair warning; you shall not win." He had defeated every sibling of his that battled in sparring, except perhaps Balder. "I've no concern for my family; she'll not harm them." They weren't exactly weak after all, except maybe Sakura or Phoenix...

Your siblings may have over-come there wrong paths, Kana cannot..She will only continue to bloodshed path, rather you want to believe it or not.This had nothing to do with you, and I would appreciate you not talking down to me like that. You have no right. " How did this situation turn so against her? When did protecting her own family become a crime? Still though, she didn't make any other moves against Kana, for now.. "I have a feeling you will be regretting those words. Not everyone can be saved, I've tried many times and there will always be some that no matter how hard to try, nothing will remove their darkness. I am telling you, Kana will use you, she will corrupt you...Do you have any idea what she did to Kaden?! You are exactly what she targets." She sighed,He was so blind in his innocence nothing seemed to get through his mind and now she strangely had looked like the villain. What a wonderful feeling that was!.......not.
That was when Kana slooowly stood, she didn't intend to be caught by ether one of them.While her powers were still greatly weakened, there was two others who could get her out of this mess, just the question was, would they help. "Zenjiro. Get over here and get me the hell out of here..." "That goes for you too,Father.." All that appeared about five foot away was a darkly portal like formation, which she began to hurry to while the two were in their deep conversation.

Artemis shook his head. "Never have I looked down at anyone. You are mistaken, milady." At what she said next, he refused to waver. "Everyone is capable of change. If you had not experienced what you had with her, you would be on my side. So back down." Then, at Kana's little escape attempt, Artemis lowered his staff, stabbing the talon into the ground and a ripple sped toward the exit way, causing it to implode and vanish. Then swiftly, he went to her, placing the Holy side to her mid section, and she would feel a pulse through her body, before she would feel her amazing powers leave her, as if she'd been "grounded".

Azura didn't feel like standing there and aruging about that. To her, it did seem that way. But, that wasn't really important now. She would stand by all she said, as most everything was true but for the mystery of chance that Kana would change for the better.Very doubtful. Then, as the escape rout was destroyed,and Artemis did something she didn't actually understand with his staff, Kana seemed to be having a less then pleasent reaction to it.It was almost the same as Fenris used on her to take away her 'slaving' ability, that little power of hers was one of her more important ones, but it was gone now.Not even Azura knew that part. "...Did...you just take her powers away?" The confusion in her voice was obvious. "Wait..you can take powers away from our enemy's? But why couldn't you of done this before? " It was a good question!! So many things could have been avoided from happening, had she gotten her powers take away.
On her knees, Kana seemed to be going through what could only be explained as DT's! Well, something like it. Not AS bad, but still. She was not happy. "I'm...going....to....KILL YOU...You little b*****d!! When I get my powers back, GUESS WHAT! She was right..I'm going to murder you...But not just you, every little thing you hold dear...Everything....! "At this point, she just sounded really insane, and oh-so-angry. "Humiliating me like this.....I'm going to make sure you pay..I don't need powers to put your weakest, youngest siblings into a grinder. How will you deal with THAT! "

"Yes, I've had to discipline my younger siblings in similar ways before. This isn't much different," at her next question, he began lowering his staff, as it seemed this episode was beginning to come to close. "I cannot do it anytime, typically the target must be quite weakened before I can. Thanks to you, she is." Then he glanced at Kana, sighing softly. This would be a difficult and long road. "Now now, Kana, be a good girl or I may turn my back and allow this lovely maiden to do as she will." He wouldn't, of course, but it was a nice fear tactic. "I will return your powers when I deem you ready to use them once again."

"Gosh Nero and Phoenix.Don't you two even take care of your kids? I don't think it's Artemis's job to discipline..." It just seemed they didn't take the whole parenting job very seriously! And of course, that bothered her. But to avoid any magical appearing flying kick balls, she wouldn't say anything more, though one could tell she was sort of looking out for one or two. Nero paranoia, it couldn't be helped.
"Oh? Please do. My father will be here any time for me. So you best be going, little saint! " Only, he wasn't coming for her, nor was Zenjiro. Her only chance was that gate to hell, which was so easily destroyed moments ago. "Then when I get my powers back, I destroy you!! Slowly! Painfully! "

Seeings as Azura had no more to say, Artemis turned his focus solely to Kana, shaking his head. "No one is coming for you, milady, they have no interest in a weakling whose power was taken so easily," he was right, and she likely knew it just as well as he did. "Now come, we've much to do if we're to help you become a respectable lady." Oh, she would loooooove the sound of that! Taking her hand now, he began to attempt to pull her along with him...

 Scowling, the angry and greatly humiliated teen jerked her hand away from him. She looked as though she wanted to literally rip his head off at this point. "Drop dead! " This was like taking a great white shark, and hoping instantly it would be completely friendly and not have its tamer for lunch. If Artemis really thought he would get to her any time soon, or at all, he was more insane then she was. "Get the hell away from me. I don't do respectful, I don't do lady-like crap, and I will NEVER be a nice person. Don't try to change me, because I ain't changin' for nothin."

Artemis only chuckled lightly. That was about what he expected. Ah, why did he have to be such a kindred soul? "Now now, Kana, I think you've the potential to rival princesses in sheer beauty and grace. Of course, I see much more in you... You just need help getting there." And since she refused to go the easy way, he went old fashioned instead, simply reaching down and plucking her from the ground, in a princess carry manner. "Off we go then, ma dame." He said, beginning forward while carrying her! "I''m not changing for anything' is the proper grammatical way to state that. Oh, I've much work to do indeed..."

 "Ugh. You're making me sick just hearing you talk about such crap to me.NO. I am not changing. NO I will not go into some fantasy dream world of yours and be some kind of sappy,weakling pathetic princess.It isn't me and never will be. " She said, before looking up at him just in time to see him leaning down, and before she knew it, she was........in his arms, in the strangest way known to her. "P-Put me down....!!! You are REALLY pushing your luck! " Like she could do anything to him. Instead, she attempted to get away from him by means of struggling, maybe he would drop her, or she could just get free from his arms,ether one was fine with her as long as it meant freedom from Artemis. Meanwhile, Azura was standing back where he left her, trying to not laugh at the sad scene. But it was a failure, Kana was able to hear her giggling even from the small distance.."Yeah...you laugh now...! Your next after him, I will finish you..! "
Azura then just waved sarcastically at her before turning and walking off in another direction.

"Oh, 'tis no fantasy of mine. If I wished to see a helpless princess, I would simply look at my mother," Ohhhhhh, burn. "This is solely for your benefit. You are a princess, after all. 'Tis my honor to serve you." One had to wonder if he was being purposely a smart arse, or if he was serious. Though knowing the oh so innocent Artemis, it was likely the latter. "Now now milady, please halt your struggling, I am attempting to assist you..." He said pleasantly, clearly not allowing her to escape quite so easily.

Kana didn't say anything about his little comment about Phoenix, obviously she didn't care much for joking! For a moment, it seemed as though she were completely ignoring him as she continued to struggle. Boy, did she ever look pathetic. If only Azura had a camera to take a shot of this from the distance.There was a tree along the way, a smaller one but good enough for what she had in mind. "Yeah, there's only one problem... " She began, before reaching up just as he walked under it, and grabbed onto the branch above, pulling herself up and flipping right over it, getting getting to where she was now standing on the branch, and holding onto another as she climbed up a little higher to avoid him. "I'm not your typical, worthless goody-two-shoes princess! Give it up! I am not going along with your little weird attempt to make me change. Deal with it!" Snapping off a branch about four foot in length, she would use that as a weapon had she needed to!

Once she was up in her little safe tree, Artemis merely sighed, summoning his staff once more. "Come now Kana, I've spent days on end sitting on the ground in silence for the purpose of meditation; if you belive I'm going to simply scoff and walk away you are sorely mistaken." With that, he rose the corrupt side of his staff, using the talon to swiftly and fluidly cut off the branch she was standing on! Lowering his staff afterwards, he turned to her. "If you do not cooperate with me, I will stop your body's energy flow and paralyze you." Sad part was he was serious, he really could do that.
