What's that? An anime starring a psycho with a book that can kill people?... and it's intelligently written?... With plot twists I wont see coming a mile away? Looks good to me. The only thing that keeps this show from being super amazing is the fact that well... I just plain got bored of it. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it but my god sometimes it just felt like I was grinding through the episodes just to see how things turned out. Nothing was really making me watch it other than sheer curiosity of the plot. Also if Light really didn't want to be caught he may have wanted to make use of that rule in the book that says he can dictate how a person dies i.e. if the guy is in prison "Dude dies at 3:30 via Shank."
I saw the anime first and could tell that it was a man. Mainly because he looks a little less like a female. But what tipped you off of him being male?

Facial Structure, body structure (no breasts, broad shoulders that extend beyond the alignment of the hips) And that hair is supposed to be feminine? I've seen guys with hair like that in other things and in real life. I mean, heck, Skrimir has that hair style. BUT. When I saw the picture, it reminded me of one person in particular. "UWEE HEE HEE!"

Well he was wearing armor I'm not sure if I could say the first thing about body structure could be used. Well at least Skrimir hasn't been described as "Not looking like a man."
Yes he does although he seems to look more like a man to me more than Griffith does in the manga. Although the councilmen or minister I'm having trouble remebering which one and his name for that matter seems more...humane I gusse.

Armor has... ...absolutely nothing to do with it. Whoa, bullshit Skrimir has been described in the way you insinuate. If that's a direct quote from the game, then it was a reference to him being like a child, not looking like a woman.
...Well, Valtome wasn't designed to look pretty.

Huh? I think you miss read. I said "Well at least saying that Skimir hasn't been described as Not looking like a man." Meaning he does look like a male. Besides the qoute I made was from Berserk about Griffith.
Valtome thats it. I'm not sure what being pretty has to due with being humane but ya that can be agreed on. The "Uwee hee hee!" thing got real creepy after awhile. It always was it just seemed to get weirder since he kept doing it.

Nomad Rath Marshmallow Kitty battosai matt Well than I'm very right with Guts. Berserk premiered a prototype of Berserk in 1988. The first volume of the manga was published in 1990. So mybe it doesn't count. It is still going though. If you think those characters look uke I wonder what you'd call Griffith. He looks like a woman. Mostly in the manga ,but my god the first time you see him you'll think whose this girl? Yes this is a man. Wait theres a manga of FE? First I've heard of it. She looks like shes ten...wow that does sound like it'd be pretty bad artwork. Hey it could be worse. Maybe it's because I've seen bits of the show before, but Griffith looks like a dude to me. It's just the posture and facial structure, I think, despite the feminine lips and hair. From an unbiased perspective, I thought this was a man before reading any posts. Fair enough. I know a lot of artists trend towards bishie men, but it IS possible to draw a man with feminine features while still making him look entirely masculine. And Griffith just... looks like a dude. : P I still want to read/watch Berserk at some point.
