Devlin smiled for a moment and chuckled to himself "Oh I feel bad for those boys their going to grow up with not just two but four sisters." He said laughing. "But on that same note I finally have my junior." He said chuckling. and then looking back at Emma he smiled and sighed "Wll yea there is that." he said shrugging least your all not part spider or we'd find quite a few more songs and daughters." He said chuckling.

Emma smiled. "Jeez dad. You're already going to be a grandfather and you want more feet. Aren't you and mom going to take are of Ana and Adam's baby. when they want some free time or Adam's at school and Ana at work." Emma commented. Her face suggest that she was a little jealous. Ray and her couldn't have children as easy as everyone else. They had even talked about having kids compared to Ana and her husband. "Watch this he'll make me pregnant again the day before he dies." Ginger commented.

He chuckled some more "And your point being, oh dear daughter of mine." He said grinning and then turned to Ginger frowning. "I wouldn't doubt it but who's to say I won't stick around to haunt the lot of ya?" he said chuckling darkly "Oh and to spoil all the grandchildren and newborns." He said almost as an afterthought. looking back over at Emma he cleared his throat and gave her a somewhat sympathetic look having an idea of her problem. "Hey emma let daddy fill you in on a secret for the longest time until I met your mother I thought I was firing off blanks don't feel bad about it." he said

Emma rolled her eyes. He didn't get it. "Had it isn't Ray trust me I can get him every night to do it. It's me who is holding him back. It's really a curse to be a linked twin. Both twins have to be ready for it and if Ana is on drugs then it'll affect my body. She doesn't think she wants a second child at least when the next five years. Yet Ray and I are ready." She told her father. It was really hard to do it. Both sisters had to have their bodies and minds ready. "Don't worry. Ana is easy to get to change her mind. Now to get her to have more than three kids will be hard." The woman added

Grinning like the slightly madman he was Devlin just shook his head for a moment "Well we are forgetting who daddies little girl is." he said grinning then frowned as he took a tentative sip of tea to make sure nothing happened where he'd waste the rest of it raising an eyebrow to both women in question as a question whether or not he could finish it. "But then again the key word here being girl might change things." he said thoughtfully.

Emma smiled. She wasn't going to worry about it for now. Even if she was jealous of her sister. "I wonder if getting her tubes tied would work. I should in theory." The older twin commented before her mothers phone rang. Ginger reached over and picked it up. "It's Ana." She commented before picking it up with a hello. "It's she due any minute now." Emma commented. "You are? Excuse me while I get to the car." The mother in the family said as she turned off her her phone. "Well I don't know about you, but I'm going to the hospital." The woman told her boyfriend and daughter.

Devlin stood up quickly finishing his cup of tea before grabbing his coat even though it was hot in the day. "Shall I drive you fine ladies?" he queried. raising an eyebrow inquisitively. as he went towards the door.

"Thanks Devlin." Ginger commented as she pulled over a light jacket. "Thanks Daddy." Emma told her father as she grabbed her purse that she had put down when she came in. "Grandbaby number one is coming." Ginger said in a happy sing-song voice.

Chuckling Devlin just sat the teacup on the saucer leaving it there for retrieval once they came back home. Grabbing the keys he walked outside leading the women to Gingers car, his own vehicles parked next to it. he turned the key in the ignition starting it and then waited for the women to settle themselves and get comfortable.

Ginger got in the front seat next to Devlin. Emma and her had an argument about who should get it and Ginger pulled the classic 'because I'm your mom' answer. Ginger put on her belt that had to be adjusted to make up for her growing belly. Emma did the same behind her father. "At least I get to be a back seat driver." Emma declared.

Devlin growled "For your information missy I'm an excellent driver. after all it takes skill to drive through a mortar strike and live to tell the tale." he said and began to drive off to the hospital minding any and all traffic laws and niceties.

(Much farther into the future)
Sitting in one of the chairs his mask lying next to him his coat hanging on the back of the chair he's sitting in. Devlin sat in his customary officer's uniform from the early 20th century being a mixture of several different uniforms with what he liked aesthetically. He smiled for a moment looking over at his family two of which out on their own being successful.
letting out a bit of a sigh and scratching at the back of his graying head. He smiled for a moment his scarred feature in stark contrast to the warm smile he wore at home. He felt old but he earned every grey and white hair few collectively which he was thankful for. He was in his late forties now and he felt it especially when he was playing with his sons and daughters. the youngest that is.
He counted himself lucky that he could patch things up with Ginger a couple years ago and settle down and begin the family proper late but he just shrugged that off. After all he was a successful prosthetic surgeon. and Professor of economics and politics at the local school. the bonus was he could come home to his family every night as compared to when he first started working their.
Giving another of his warm nicotine stained smile and whistled for a moment and held his hand out which his undeadish friend/butler/bodyguard Cody placed a saucer with a cup of tea presently waiting and steaming on it into his hand. "Spasibo friend." he said in his rough generally unused but warm voice.
Taking a sip he smiled indeed these days were the best especially the mornings before everything got busy and...weird.

"Grandpa." Called out Emma's twins, Nikki and Ray Jr, as they came running into the room. The made it important to hug the old man. It was clear that their mother was down stares helping Ginger out. After a hug the children ran to play with their uncles and aunts who were two years older then them. It wasn't long before Ginger came up to her husband. It wasn't long before she was in his lap and laying on his chest. "Hey their handsome." She teased him a little.

"Why hello my unaging mistress." he said with a smile his eyes showing their wrinkles as he did so giving him the look of the proverbial grandfather. even though he wasn't that old. Holding onto Ginger gently and lovingly he smiled still as he watched his kids and grandkids play with each other. chuckling at the irony that his grandkids were playing with their aunts and uncles and being so close in age.
taking another sip of his tea which he'd set it's saucer down on corner table next to his chair when he hugged the twins. Sighing contentedly after drinking his tea he chuckled to hismelf after a moment "Funny isn't it how most of my life I could have enjoyed this kind of peacefulness yet my youth wasted it and constantly wanted to move around." he said sadly but then sighed. "But then again Ginger I wouldn't be the man I am now unless I did. I in a way had to grow to appreciate the silence of a nice and quiet life." he said.

Ginger looked at him and smiled. She would on day die, but She could have five more of him before she was gone. "I like the you now. Think about how it could been. What if you had stayed with the girls and me. I would have been unhappy. I wasn't ready to be a wife, being a mother comes naturally compared to be a wife." She was happy the ways she was now. She wrapped her arms around her husbands neck and leaned against his chest. "Ana is coming over with her girls." She warned him.
