Derek reached out and grasped the tears, the dampness staining his hands. The spell had been broken, with that, as another tear dripped into his hand. "Everything... is scary..." He eventually murmered. He turned around and began walking down the hallway, back to his own dorm. "Maybe... I should never have come." He whispered. His heart ached, telling him to go back and talk to her more, but in the same instance, her anger... He just wanted to leave her to her own space. The rain soon stopped as Derek became secluded in himself, each step becoming more of a sleepwalk, rather then just a walk to a dorm.

Something bumped into him and wrapped its arm around his waist. There was a wait on his upper back between his shoulder blades, "Derek..." Aya's soft, choked and watery voice drifted to his ears, "...I'm sorry." She whispered, her arms tightening around his waist.

Derek paused in his step, his body tensing a little bit. He soon relaxed and turned around, taking Aya up into a hug. Tears fell more freely from him. The hug would last as long as Aya wanted it to. Everything was up to her, at that point, he thought.

His clothes soaked up all her tears and smothered the sound of her crying but when she lifted her head her nose was all red and tears gleamed on her cheeks, "What am I supposed to do? Mother never taught me....never told me what to do! She didn't have time...." She said, her voice thick and wet with her tears.

"Shhh..." Derek coaxed, using his thumb to gently wipe off the tears from her cheeks. He didnt mind the dampness on his shirt. All he cared about was the girl in his arms. He didnt like to see her so upset, but he, too, was never told what to do, so all he did was try to calm her down as he pulled her into a closer hug.

She rested her head on his chest until seh had calmed down. She hiccuped instead, sniffling periodically. At one point she sniffled adn hicupped at the same time causing her to burp. She started laughing, covering her mouth, "'Scuse me!" She said.

Derek smiled and pat Aya on the back gently. A small chuckle came from him as well. With his hands still around her waist, he pushed her away slighty, so they could talk more. "How are you doing?" He asked softly, hoping that she was feeling better and wouldnt yell at him again.

Aya nodded and smiled, "I think I'll be okay...I'll have to write my mother." She frowned, looking away, "I didn't mean to yell...I was scared...I know from what my mother said that this type of love is very serious. And so many boys and girls use it frivilously, but that's all she really told me about it. I never expected anyone to be interested in me, is all..."

"Well, that wasnt very smart thinking." Derek murmered, smiling slightly at her. "Who wouldnt fall in love with the prettiest girl in the world?" He asked, pulling her gently close to him again. "If... If anything happens, or you need anything... I'm here for you." He said.
Linx turned up back in dance class, the clumsy boy making a fool of himself again. He heard a whisper about him, and that seemed to change his whole attitude. He began doing everything everyone did, clumsiness not included. He even did his own solo at the end of class that made the teacher very happy. Feeling slightly positive about himself, Linx walked up to Dorian. "I... I won a competition for dance and music... At first, that was the only reason why Dr. Bloor kept me in here...." His voice trailed off and he headed for his next class.

Dorian caught his arm before he got far, "Linx." He said then stopped and looked away, "Good job." He finally said brusquely before releasing Linx and walking away to gather his things for the next class.
Aya blushed and looked down, "Likewise." She replied. She started when she heard the bell, "We'll be late." She pulled away, "Let me get my things and i'll meet you in class." She trotted away, turning back to grin at him then she was gone.

She smiled at Linx before going to her next class. She entered the bustling hallways to go to Chorus class.

Derek smiled feintly back at her, still upset at being yelled at. He then ran to his dorm to get his things, and headed for class. He started feeling alot better, knowing that lunch was next. His stomach growled slightly, reminding him that he hadnt eaten much that morning.
Linx stared after Dorian for a moment, then got caught up in the bustle and was half-pushed to his next class. He made a good impression on the orchestra teacher with a small violin solo. He wanted to impress the teacher since he hadnt been in class the day before. the tune echoed through the hallways, a sweet melody making the cold place seem almost friendly.

((What?))
Aya plopped herself next to Derek in their next class, humming softly to herself as she put her things on her desk.

Derek smiled at Aya, then continued working on his clay figure. He paused for a moment. "I didnt know you were in this class." He whispered, but smiled anyway, giving her some of his clay. The teacher didnt seem to mind, nor the students. Derek's figure of the red king was looking more and more like the painting in the Kings Room, but it still would need work. When the lunch bell rang, he set it on the counter and washed his hands, then waited for Aya.
((Lunch time, peoples!))
