Nicolas kept his arms around Jamie, holding her close to him, with intentions that seemed as though he never wished to let her go. His kiss was one of a silent promise. The elf could never change his ways, but this bond with Jamie was something he shared with no other woman on the ship. Dispite his longing stares and hungry looks, he could not ache for any woman besides the one he had such a great deal of trouble having. Perhaps it was the adventure between the two of them that kept whatever Nicolas felt, alive. Where Jamie found their constant seperations as a sign of bad fortune, the pirate elf took it as a reason to pursue the gypsy further.
There would be a time in which the two could have one another in complete bliss, but even those moments would surely be scarce. His dreams were to become a great captain and though he could have whatever women he wished at that point, he would have important matters to constantly attend to. The growing attachment between the two of them was something for sure, but it was something that seemed almost doomed from the start. If Jamie Gallows wished for complete devotion and affection, this man was not the one who could provide that for her. By the ring on her finger, Nicolas knew to take care of Jamie, but what he was doing was the best he could.
Pulling back slowly and reluctantly, the man kept Jamie close and smirked faintly. The same charming glint he usually carried returned to his eyes and face.

Nicolas was different from any other man Jamie had encountered. It was not becuase he was not human. It was his personality. He was like a fire. Uncontrolable and fierce. Any other man was plain and predictable. Even her ex fiance. Sure, he had been the man that had turned her pirate. Therefore he had the ache for adventure. But he didnt have the heart of an untameable animal. He had been willing to give up everything for her. That was the one trait that got him killed. Jamie saw that beast in Nicolas. It was what seemed to attract her so.
Her arms wrapped around his neck as she embraced him more forcefully. That was how their relationship had been from the beginning. It was firey. It was passion and feelings. The silent promise had been made and the young gypsy could feel it. Her heart skipped a beat in slight panic. She wasn't one to depend on anyone, but she could see that Nicolas wa snot like the other man.
It was like a constant chase after one another, though she usually took the role of the mouse. And that was the way Jamie preferred it. She knew Nicolas could never settle down. he was not the type to give up his life for her and change himself. No, that's why he was perfect. She could still depend on herself.
With a soft whine the woman allowed Nicolas to pull back and she slowly dropped her arms down to his sides. It was that smile, that charm. There it was, replacing the upset Nicolas from moments before. Her sky blue eyes stared up at him as a small smile settled on her own lips. Jamie felt content where she was. Settled in Nicolas's arms.

Keeping her close to him, the man took a deep breath of the wonderful scent that was Jamie's. Inhaling with a grin and lifting a pale hand to brush her bangs from her eyes, he spoke in a whisper, "...if Katherine so much as lays a finger on you in my presense I will lose the positions you have risked so boldly to achieve for both you and I.." Though quietly spoken, the elf's tone was still firm as if there were to be no questioning to his reasoning. Slightly soothed at the moment, the man knew the site of the captain so much as patting Jamie's form would send him into a rare of jealousy once again.
With a great longing now for both the woman in his arms as well as the position of fighter, Nicolas could feel himself aching. With even just one step above a great deal of his other crew mates, he knew he would be given just an inch more respect. That same inch would save his sanity and keep himself more at ease. Too close had he come to being beaten or even thrown overboard. His awful pride and arrogance was something that needed to be worked with, though he cared little of changing it.
Looking back down to Jamie, he spoke again, this time slightly louder, "..Tonight.. return to my chambers once you are finished...?" Though it was said as a statement, he left the end of his phrase somewhat open as though Jamie had a choice to choose what she wished to do. Unlike his other orders and demands moments ago, he was not forcing anything on the gypsy at the moment. He wished she would agree, but understood if she felt it would be better to stay or simply felt no need to return to the elf at all.

Jamie nodded as Nicolas whispered to her. It would be wise to stay away from Katherine when Nicolas was present or everything she would be working for would fall apart. She was pleased, ont he other hand, that he had come to realise the good that it would get the two of them if she were to succeed. " Understood. " The small female replied to the pirate whom held her, nodding her head as she watched the male think.
He soon returned his gaze to her and she smirked, tilting her cheek towards his hand as he had brushed her bangs from her eyes. The woma payed attention, seeing that he had something to say. She prayed that he would not begin to grow angry once more. It was the last thing she needed. Instead he asked, instead of ordered, her to return to his chamers if the Captain ended up calling her to her cabin.
A shiver ran down the female's spine as her mind wandered to the night after Captain Kruel with Nicolas in his room. A sly smile then spread across her features and she gave Nicolas an inviting expression. Her playful side seemed to have been sparked by the male's request. " The odds look good, Mr. Morgan. " The gypsy almost purred, bangs slightly concealing her eyes.

Sapphire eyes searched about the coordidore that the two of them had been conversing in. It was impressive that nothing they had said could, or was, overheard by anyone else. With a slight relief, the man turned on his heal and began out towards the center, or outer sides, of the ship once again. "It would be best for you to find miss Katherine then, ai?" He did not face Jamie when he spoke and he hid the jealousy he was still feeling for the plan. The way Nicolas say it now, however, was the sooner the captain was satisfied, the sooner he could take Jamie back into his arms and clean her of the filth the b*****d Katherine left upon her!

The gypsy woman's grin faded as quickly as it had appeared as she watched him back up, turn on his heel and walk away. He spoke to her with his back turned and she glared at his back, pained by the sudden change in mood once more. He had been holding her as though he were never going to let go and then he turned away, unable to even look her in the eye or speak to her face.
"Aye." Jamie answered lowly as she turned on her own heels and headed in the opposite direction. Her high heeled boots clicked as she walked briskly away, feet slamming into the wooden floor due to her annoyance, anger and guilt. She let out a rough breath and crossed her arms over her breasts as she exited the corridore and made her way back onto the main deck.
Closing her eyes momentarily she tried to allow all her worries to be pushed away for the time being. She needed to focus upon her current situation, and Nicolas was not a part of it. Jamie opened her sky blues eyes and stretched, hands in the air, hips tilted, and yawning. It had been awhile since she had been able to rest. Rest didn't really seem possible on a pirate ship, though. There was always something to be done. The young woman made her way towards the area of the deck that everyone had been unloading the boats at, hoping to catch sight of the captain.

Rachel sheathes her blade, and throws it in the corner, "Bah, worthless hunk of blunt metal!" she yells at the blade them falls onto her bed. She closed her eyes and quickly drifted off to sleep, as small chunks of wood litter the floor. The remaining stump from the dummy in the middle of the room.
She tosses and turns in her sleep, falling to the hard wooden floor. She didn't wake, her chest was no longer moving, she seemed to have stopped breathing! A faint sound of trickling liquid could be hard if one was in the room, the wood near Rachel's head slowly started turning red...
Gabriel watches the monkey bounce around like mad, where did it get all it's energy? Just watching the little animal hop around made Gabriel tired. He sat down in a chair and closed his eyes. He would just have a short nap, the monkey should be tired byt the time he awakens.
They monkey continued to bounce around, slower and slower it went until it hopped onto Gabriel's head and fell asleep. The two looked very peaceful as they slept, it would be a shame if something, or someone heppened to wake them.

Hours after arriving on the Dementia, Katherine was finally able to obtain a small bowl of the new water supplies to clean the dirt of the island off. She usually wasn't much given to cleanliness, but Daria told her it was an essential part of wooing anyone, man or woman. And Katherine had quite a bit of charming to do tonight, if the gyspy wench proved to be game.
Slipping into a luxurious new coat, the captain stalked over to her map table and lifted her hat, checking on the angry bird beneath it. It had nodded off some time during Katherine's bath, so she gently placed the hat back down, careful not to disturb the parrot for fear of restarting the squawking that had been kept up for hours.
Feeling slightly underdressed without her hat, Katherine nevertheless strode proudly out onto the deck, deciding that if her prey would not come to her she'd damn well go and hunt it down herself. Spotting said prey near the quarterdeck, the captain summoned a devious smirk to her face and headed directly for the dark haired woman.

Rachel opens her eyes, as the feeling came back to her body, a sharp pain came from the back of her head, "Damn it all, what the bloody hell happened? Did some crazy little Ship's Boy come into my room and smack me in the head with a wooden plank?" She rubs the back of her head. The back of her head felt wet with a rather warm liquid.
She looks at her hand to see that is was red with blood, most likely her own blood. She looks around for a moment, and notices she was on the floor, last thing she remembered was she fell asleep on her bed. She got back onto her feet then attempted to walk to the small glass rum bottle that was full of water, wobbling slightly on her way. She picks up the bottle and pulls one of the pieces of cloth tied to her sword's sheath.
"Who ever attacked me is going to be loosing more blood than I have..." She wets the cloth with the water and presses it against her head, attempting to clean the cut so it could heal quicker. She places the bottle down on a table and grabs the sword. Putting the sword back onto her back, she kicks her door open and walks onto the deck.

Nicolas could hear Jamie walk away and only briefly shut his eyes to imagine the few moments the two had spent with one another. If all went well, their plan would be worth it in the end, but it would not keep the man from becoming incredibly jealous. If ever there was a time in which Nicolas stood at equal ground with Katherine, he would be certain to set her straight. He would allow Katherine to share his feelings and be sure to return the favor of complete distrust and disgust.
Continuing on, the man reached the edge of the ship and looked over, eyes slightly weary and face already hardened from years of mental abuse given by both himself as well as his father. Nicolas had been both born and raised into the life of being a pirate and nearly every bone in his body screamed for him to battle, take over other ships and small islands and eventually become a captain, himself. Little sleep could be found when he was constantly preparing himself for an attack. Rarely would the elf allow himself to be surprised.
Almost lost in his own thought, the man could barely hear the angry master-at-arms step onto the deck. When heavy steps neared him, however, he could not help but turn and catch her stare. With a c**k of his brow, the elf tried to determine what it was that might have upset her too much. Last he had heard, she was heading off to rest.

Jamie allowed herself to twirl on the heel of her boots after catching the sound of a familiar confidant stride approuching her. Tossing all doubting thoughts out of her mind the woman placed a devious smile on her tanned features as she faced the Captain. Her sky blue eyes scanned the captains form very quickly and she tilted her head to the side in a satisfied manner. Her bangs fell out from behind her ears and sheilded an eye from veiw as she then placed her hands on her hips.
" I apologize, Captain. " Jamie Gallows began, raising a brow to her superior. " I haven't had the chance to find some water to bathe in. So, excuse the filth, if you please. " The young woman then took a step towards the taller woman, placing herself before the captain of the Dementia.
Grinning up at the Captain, Jamie gave a small purr. " So, are we going to start out on the deck, or move to more private quarters? " A feminine laugh sounded as she took another step nearer the captain. " Actually.. " Jamie reconsidered. " The deck looks slightly welcoming."
Dancing or entertaining in public was something Jamie had never been one to shy away from. As a child and growing up it was the way she had made the money to feed herself and her family. Now, on the deck of a pirate ship, would be no different. With that thought the woman rose a dainty hand and ran it down the Captains chest, starting fromt he lower neck and ending before the start of cleavage.
" What say you?"

Rachel grumbles at first sight of the Elf. She was almost ready to draw her blade and slash the Elf's head off, but with the voices near-by it could cause more of a problem than the pathetic Elf was worth in the first place. She walks away from the Elf, continuing to clean the cut until she threw the cloth onto the deck.
The cloth was fairly red by then, but it seemed as if the cut stopped bleeding, at least for now. She placed a finger on her amulet, wondering what happened to it within that old temple. Why was it on that altar after two of the orbs were taken? Why did it seem that it was given some sort of powers? And, why didn't she have a third question to make this moment seem eerie!
She traces her finger around the symbol in the amulet, and sighs. She sits down and gazes at the flowing ocean water. "At least there is something that can make me happy..."
Meanwhile...
Gabriel and his monkey continue to sleep...

Katherine raised a brow at the forward attitude of the gypsy girl. Few would dare approach a captain in such a way, and Katherine admired the boldness of the girl for doing so. She liked a little fire in all her conquests, it made it that much more enjoyable to possess them.
Looking down into the blue eyes filled with suggestion, Katherine let a smirk spread across her own face as she reached up to rest a gloved hand on top of the one on her chest. "I enjoy a public show as much as anyone else." She said, pulling the hand down slightly. "But this one, I think, shall be much more... exciting in private."
With that, she gave Jamie's hand a brief squeeze and let it drop, sauntering back to her cabin. When she reached the door, Katherine cast an inviting look back over her shoulder at the gypsy, letting her heated gaze speak the command to follow for her. Without waiting to see if Jamie would take the hint, the captain walked confidently into her cabin.

Nicolas was not surprised by the response that he had gotten from Rachel. Not once, it seemed, had the two shared a pleasing moment and now would be no different. Turning around to watch her as she walked away, the pirate male was still somewhat confused. Something had certainly upset her more than just her bitter hatred of the elf himself. As he got a better look to Rachel's turned form, he noticed that there seemed to be a slight red on the back of her head. Blue eyes followed the rag, wound and then floor as the rag was tossed down.
With a shake of his head, he tried to brush the thoughts from his mind. Afterall, Nicolas Morgan was not one to care for the stingy woman on deck. If she had been wounded somehow in her chambers, it was not something to concern him. As he could not keep himself from looking again, he was shocked to see that the wound had stopped bleeding. With somewhat wide eyes, he tried to step up a few steps to get a better look without being too obvious. Any wound given to such a vulnerable spot on the body would surely take a bit longer to heal. How had....?Katherine raised a brow at the forward attitude of the gypsy girl. Few would dare approach a captain in such a way, and Katherine admired the boldness of the girl for doing so. Rachel continues to play with the pendant, the more she moved it around in her hand, the better she began to feel. The soothing sound of the ocean made her smile, not really caring about her head being hurt anymore. She stands up and turns around, "I should clean those wood chippings from my quarters, I'll store them with the not so broken training dummies..." She noticed that the Elf was watching her.
"Your name is Nicolas, right?" She asks the Elf, "Why have you been watching me?" The man had no reason to be anywhere near her. They weren't friends as far as Rachel knew, unless he enjoyed being treated like the bottom-feeding urchin he was. Could he have been planning to attack her while her guard was down? Was he just a curious Elf, and actually ment no harm for once in his time on the Dementia?
And little Gabriel continued to sleep soundly with his monkey...
