he looks at the other and nods "ya... that would be good.." he gets some stuff they needed for eating and sets it all down as he sits.

Drake had gone outside, gathering sticks and kindling and an armful of rocks. He went back inside and set the rocks in a circle on the dirt floor and then placed the kindling inside his makeshift fireplace. he organzing the sticks about that and used some matched to light it. He brought the small blaze up to a good size, "there we are"

he wastches the other work looking him over as the fire was built and all. he gets the food ready and sets it onto the fire to warm up.

"well thank you. Yours is very pleasing as well" Drake stared at the fire for a time, "I'm sorry...about when I told you that i wanted you for nothing more than a quick lay"

They startd tearing into his skin...right there" he stopped as he felt tears threaten to fall. He was silent until he composed himself once more, "I didn't want to get attached because i don't want to be hurt again in that happens to someone I know..."

he touches the others back "I lost my family.. all of them to the war.. never seen someone died before me.. I am sorry.." he pulls the other close hugging him.

Drake hugged him back tightly. Squeezing his eyes shut to stop any tears from escaping, "thank you..." he breathed softly

Drake reluctantly pulled away, drawing in a shaky breath, he turned to face the fire, poking at the sticks and ashes
