Jacob walked past the many cells and hummed peacefully to himself.
"So what are you really doing here Jacob? What does the ministry want now?" A voice called out from behind him.
Jacob grinned, "I'm no longer an auror Drago. I'm a guard here...remember you hired me?"
Dragonus walked out of the shadows and observed Jacob coldly. "But last time I saw you..I recall you being loyal to the ministry. Why the sudden job change?"
Jacob sighed, "I'm still loyal....I just got tired of it is all...I..I don't know alright..Why all this suspicion? You act as if I'm against you."
"I've learned to be cautious towards people..and give trust sparringly."
"Same old Drago..Never going to relax are you?" He chuckled.
"So...What of Theolus? He has said nothing about ending his career as an auror."
"It's because he hasn't.." Jacob answered quietly.
"Now that's a bit of a surprise. I thought you two were conjoined at the hip."
"We have our differences but our friendship has not been altered because of it...You don't give me and Theo enough credit..."
"No..I give you two too much.." Dragonus turned and walked down the corridor ending the conversation.

Vavane walked in to do her routes, but saw Jacob standing there, not moving, so she ran over to him. "Jacob, are you alright?"

Jacob looked down at Vavane, "Oh..." he put on a smile. "Yeah i'm fine. Just a bit of a talk with Dragonus. You know how itimidating he can be sometimes." He chuckled softly. "How's rounds going?"

Vavane put her hand on his shoulder. "I understand..I suppose...just leave him alone...he is a great leader, but needs some socail skills," She laughed, trying to cheer him up. "Oh...my rounds..fine I guess."

He returned the smile, "Me and Dragonus..well we'll always be me and Dragonus so I think i'd have a heart attack if anything changed. My rounds are fine, No real trouble. I have yet to run into the girl I was warned about."
