Attention Trainers. I bring news of an In-Store Distribution Event. The details are as follows:
-For those in the US, you can receive a Lv15 Keldeo at GameStop stores between August 27th (today) and October 6th.
-For those in Europe, this Keldeo will be available at various stores from September 1st (this coming Saturday) to October 11th
-For those in Australia, the Keldeo can be picked up at EB Games stores between September 15th to October 10th
I would have one already, but the wireless was apparently broken at the GameStop closest to me, so I'll have to try again at a different one. rolleyes

I also just found out that another Pokemon Tournament is scheduled to start in the next couple weeks for non-Japanese gamers. The Autumn Friendly will be accepting registrations at 00:00 UTC on September 6th, and the tournament itself will run from September 14th through to the 17th. Format is Double Battles, with the following Pokemon excluded: Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Chatot, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem and Keldeo Bapp, I know you mentioned you wanted to try your hand at a tournament, so this may be a good one to start with. The Registration Period for the tournament is now underway. If you are going to participate, please sign into the Pokemon Global Link site and register by next Thursday.
I have already registered my team, and (as always) will report the more entertaining battles as I go.

It has begun. I've already got ~20 battles in, and some of them were pretty epic. (One had an enemy Garchomp with a pair of Minimize uses Baton Passed to it, making it much harder to hit; eventually nailed it with an Electivire Ice Punch)

Also, a release announcement: Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 are being released in the US tomorrow. Alongside it, there is a WiFi promotion to go along with it:
Genesect is scheduled to be available for download from release day until November 12th. It will be at Lv15 and know the moves Techno Blast, Magnet Bomb, SolarBeam and Signal Beam.

Unfortunately, my information says it's only available for BW2. It can be traded to BW1, but not downloaded.

It has been a while, but since Gen 6 is already in full swing...
How many of you guys (who still come around to the guild) have Pokemon X or Pokemon Y?
For those of you interested, there's a WiFi distribution on X/Y that will continue for the next month or so. You probably heard about it already, but you can get a free Torchic with its hidden ability Speed Boost holding the exclusive item Blazikenite. It will be available until January 14th.
