It didn't surprise Dakota as the female literally jumped back from him and across the small cage - as if it would really even do any good. The imprisoned girl was still close to him, and if he really wanted he could reach out and touch her although she was across the cage. Their prison's were not that big, even though some of the smaller creatures received bigger cages with pillows and things. Did they behave better? If Dakota ran this place, nobody would get rewards. If they behaved, they were left alone. If they misbehaved, they were beaten. But then again... the way Dakota's mind worked was not like others. He very rarely felt remorse or guilt from what he did. Really, he had no problem with striking someone or tearing them down emotionally and/or mentally. That was just how this lycan worked - he was manipulative and would pick apart someone until they finally crumbled.
Her explanation of what she was made the lycan c**k his head to the side, blue eyes studying her curiously. Them? They? Someone seemed to edit her DNA as if she were some sort of computer? Any type of technical things like computers or biology or whatever never really interested him. It really never caught his attention long enough for him to understand it - so what was the point on attempting to learn? The basics were said: someone changed her DNA to where she had become a shapeshifter. That was enough to satisfy Dakota, seeing as a smirk slowly crossed his lips again. "Shapeshifter, yeah? Sounds good." A large hand went forward, long fingers wrapping around one of the bars on her cage as he seemed to steady himself a bit more, then relaxed. This place was cold, and Dakota shifted his shoulders just a bit to shrug his jacket closed more so the freezing wind wouldn't be coming straight at him and beneath his coat. "You cold, girlie?" And once again the male cocked his head to the side while watching her. The question was pretty stupid, but there seemed to be something else behind it. It was as if he were expecting something... like her to beg or something! Clearly he wouldn't expect her to beg him, right? Or would he use the freezing temperatures against her to make her wish she were in a warmer place? It was hard to tell with him - for one minute he would be completely calm, and the next he would be screaming his head off or saying something that would severely hurt someone's feelings. Everything was unexpected.

Quite shocked at what she had done, again, Lillium backed away from the cage bars a bit when the eyepatch man came closer. She watched him study her chalkboard before speaking to her. Oh, he liked her eye, that was nice. A conflict started in the electrical systems in her mind, like she was trying to figure out if she liked him or not. 'But i barely know him.' She reasoned, and the logic out-weighted the conflict, her mind clearing. Her seller peeked over his newspaper, an amused grin on his face, Lillium really was quite vocal today. Flicking a page, he went back to reading while the man talked to his sales item. Pink eye flicking up occasionally to look at the man before her, his blood smelt quite odd to her vampiric senses, some form of demon? Clearing her throat, she stayed at the back of her cage a bit but managed to form a slight smile. "Lillium. O-Or just Lily." Yet again, Lillium was fully expecting this eye patched man to not be interested and to simply just have a conversation and walk away. The Bio-Engineered Vampire didn't really have much of an expectation of herself when there were neko slaves, demon slaves and some really different creatures she had never seen or heard of in her life. She was quite fascinated by the market to tell the truth.
Coming out of the shadows a bit, Lily stepped closer to the cage, quite sure the man would have some follow up questions, but just as she did, a young adolescent came up to her cage and she jumped right back again, staring at this boy. He had a much more interesting blood scent, almost ethereal... Celestial? No, that was way out there, but she didn't throw it aside. Calming down from the shock of seeing the boy, she took a deep breath and took a few steps forward, bending at her knees to bob to the boy's height. "He-Hey there." She replied, trying to sound alot less shy than what she was, when in fact, she was almost trembling. Was this fear? A grown man who she couldn't identify the blood smell and a young male that was of some form of celestial blood, well that was a first for her. Even her seller had dropped the top of his paper to stare at the cage he was looking over, his gaze looking around for a moment to see if anyone else was going to come up and see Lillium, and maybe the father, brother, sister, mother... Guardian of the young boy nearby him. It was most certainly an eventful day for the half mechanical vampiress. Gimme gimme sweet things to eat! After the veggies and the meat!
His fingers brushed those feathers but in clear childish fashion he pulled them a little before blinking they were real! Was she an angel? His eyes opened wide at Ivy and he tilted his head to the side. His mouth opened and he sucked on the top of his hand in a nervous gesture. Looking between the two be smiled brightly though. "Ivy and Addy" He pointed between the two satisfied with his nickname of the other girl and bounced up and down.
At the others declaration to buy him his eyes widened and his tail curled up over his head in happiness. " A POOL and a room all for me?" He mewled at the thought of getting food. It was then that the flamboyant seller came buy and smiled at the two woman. "You interested in little Cinna here, it's his first time at the market. You'll treat him nice won't you?" He asked obviously concerned but Cinna looked at him and shook his finger berating him.
"Don't be a meanie, Ivy said she will give me a room and toys and food and a pool and Addy will be there!" He smiled brightly at the two women and the Seller turned to smile at them as well. He would miss Cinna, but as long as he was going to a good home. "Well that settles it then. For you, he will be only one thousand just treat him right."

 Ivy Chattoway
Ivy loved how excited Cinnamon seemed about going home with her and Adeline. Turning towards the seller, Ivy said "I plan on taking the best care of Cinna. I promise, he'll be very happy with me. A thousand it is." Ivy pulled out enough coins to pay for Cinna, filled out the paperwork, and unlocked the boy's cage. "When we get home, I'll make sure you get your favorite food, alright Little Man?" Ivy took hold of Adeline and the little boy's hands and started leading the way towards her limo waiting outside.
Ivy let the two slide into the limo before her and then she followed. "Alright Clyde, home we go." Ivy settled into her seat and sighed. This trip couldn't have gone any better.

"I am warm in your summer,me upon And cool in my winter, But, you've trapped me upon the land, So that I've lost control..."
Saiyuri continued to study the human male in front of her. he seemed of no great, or consequential value to herself. He was a mere mortal, meant to live his days out, trying to reached some promised land, that would never come. No. Saiyuri knew the truth. She knew what happened once her children moved to the other side, and she assumed it was the same for her sister's children.
Hearing that the male wanted nothing but someone to help raise his daughters, she looked to him fiercely. Children? She was to be a mother? Surely there was some mistake. he could not know that she had wanted children of her own, but could not bear them, other then the cycle of life that happened within her, that was no more in her control then the growing of trees upon her sister. She shook her head, and backed slightly. Why would he want her? Was he trying to toy with her so that she would bend to his will, and then he would do something unspeakable to her? She didn't have much of a chance to find out. She wanted out of her prison.
'if I am to leave with you, will you free me of my prisons?" Her gaze was unflinching as it watched him. She would not be moved as a pawn in one of his silly games. She was the sea, and all that was wet. Water. Something pure, and mischievous. Grand and conniving. She was purely a free spirit trapped with a shell she could not break from on her own.

x x x x x x x x xHelp me find who I used to be... Anistasia Whyte ... And save me from what I have become Anistasia glance up at him, watching as smirk spread across his features, frowning a bit. She wasn't going to like this man soon but then again, Anistasia never liked anybody. Hearing the question he relaxed a bit. Had he seen the little stutter? The girl forced the yellow from her eyes, not looking up until she'd pushed away the need to kill. "Sure... I guess," Anistasia said. To tell the truth the girl hadn't realized how cold it was in here until now. Sighing after a while she crossed her legs, picking at the hem of the dress. Was he just going to stand there and stare? It wouldn't be long before she tried to attack someone. The man might as well buy her while she was slightly in control of herself. Anistasia looked up at him, frowning a little. "Are you going to get me out of this cage?" she growled impatiently before looking up at him. Anistasia didn't like the cramped space. Even though she pressed herself against the back of the cage, there wasn't a lot of space between them. If he was going to hit her for asking the question, she'd be able to put up with it. Even though she would be stronger than any average human something told her that she didn't want to anger this man. It would be hard not to. Anistasia hardly had control of herself most of the time. She was either cuddling against you or trying to kill you. It wouldn't be able to get Anistasia to like you though. If the master hadn't noticed by, now the girl didn't like anyone. To tell the truth, the best way to get her to like you would be to keep her disciplined. There was no way Anistasia would listen to anyone though.

Reika Valkyrie Black I'll be a servant in your dreams Cutting some paper into shapes I will try to behave To be quite perfect In every way, honestly Mistress Reika pumped her wings and she flew through the sky until a gust caught under her wings and she coasted she looked down to make sure he'd follow, although she wasn't high in the air and wasn't hard to miss, and focused again on the direction she was headed in. Her brother liked a certain strip bar that had little care for its performers. The whole district was sketchy and no one would miss a few girls that had no family or anyone to go home to. Reika smiled to her self and she twisted in the air and preformed a flip, maybe she would get to have her fun too. Her feathers shuddered as she thought of killing something. Of tearing into soft flesh. Female flesh. Reika held back a cry of anger. Women were bane to her. She hated any female that wasn't herself or her mother. Women had taken her brothers attention away from her. Women would steal any male in her life. She hated them. So the thought of ripping one to pieces and hearing her cries for mercy was delightful. The innocent looking girl betrayed none of the turbulence inside of her. She didn't show her savage wants on her features. She held a serene and calm expression for the world to see. Soft , downcast eyes of a timid subservient girl. But she was still a monster.
Yeah, I really thought you were aware
That I could be your worst nightmare
Say a prayer, you don't wanna hate me

MѦ₮RɨЖ It doesn’t matter where I come from. I go though forests, towns, and cities, looking for one thing. Matrix sat on the floor of the cell that he had been thrown in fuming in hatred and rage. The scar across his left eye itched more than it ever had since he received it but he remained still, not moving a hand up to scratch. He was almost too still for how anger he was for allowing himself to be captured alive, and by normal slavers at that. He managed to take a fair chunk of them down forever but it had seemed that they were expecting his attack and had more slavers there than they could make a decent profit from the village they had been in.
So, instead of Matrix being able to go in, kill the slavers and get out before any reinforcements if any could show up, he was clobbered over the head with something that had been bloody heavy and knocked him out cold. He had regain consciousness when he felt himself hitting cold bars followed very quickly by a cold floor. He was getting to his knees, getting ready to lunge out of the cage as the cell door slammed shut, locking him inside. After punching the bars a couple of times, noticing that it was doing very little he sighed and sat down in the middle of the cage.
That was where he stayed, only moving to slightly eat when he absolutely needed to, not even to scratch his scar. As Matrix sat still he thought about how he was going to escape this foul place he was now in. He could feel something around his neck… a collar maybe with a couple of things hanging off of it, clicking together when ever he actually moved and he knew that it was going to be hard to get it off of his neck. He could see what little damage he caused the bars of the cells and figured that the collar was probably made from the same thing. So instead of wasting energy trying to escape from the cage, he rationed what he had, using very little and waiting for the perfect moment to act. The one moment that he would use to escape from this place and continuing what he did best, killing slavers. My sole purpose, to hunt slavers. Kill to defend others. Is it revenge, I think not, but lets find out…

He pushed up his glasses as he walked through the row after row of cages. Lukas was a tall and fairly skinny man, and actually quite pale in the skin. Many have mistaken the demon as a malnourished man, but Lukas would, heatedly, disagree. Lukas hates the human's.. disdainful food. And that's saying it nicely. But being as blunt as Lukas usually is, he'd tell it lie it is, saying sometimes to people's faces that their food resembles their personalities. Boring and makes him feel as if he's going to be sick. It may make people hate Lukas, but he's used to it by now. Once you know that people whom you trust have been after you life, nothing really surprises you anymore.
Lukas walked over to the side of an empty cage. He didn't really lean on it. He had, self proclaimed, OCD, and was a bit of a neat freak. That's why he literally had to force himself to come to the slave market. It wasn't because he thought hat the slaves were inadequate, but the way they lied, it disgusted Lukas.
So, of course there are a few reason's why Lukas is here. He wasn't a slave who will keep him entertained. He had escaped from Hell to be up here, but so many centuries have passed, that he feels as if he can either go back, or find something else that can peak his interest. Besides, he also needs something to feed on. No, Lukas isn't a vampire or anything. He doesn't need blood to sustain himself, but it is one of his guilty pleasures. Lukas lives off the energy that humans give off, they just feel a bit tired after Lukas feeds off them. Lucky for him, Earth is enriched with so many things that give off a life force, that he doesn't have to have one thing get tired to the point of collapse.
Lukas pushed up his glasses once more and continued through the cages. He poked his head through most of them. If the thing inside didn't seem too alive, he would just continue on walking. If what ever was inside seemed dirty and didn't move much, he wouldn't even bother to look at the thing.

Proven Insanity █ █ █ █ Its my life █ █ █ █ It's now or never I ain't gonna live forever I just want to live while I'm alive
My heart is like an open highway Like Frankie said I did it my way I just want to live while I'm alive █ █ █ █ 'Cause it's my life █ █ █ █ TomasWolf◄◄◄◄ Tomas circled around and around his cage in his wolf phase. The light brown wolf was growing and more and more agitated by the day, he had been banned from leaving his cage which meant he was unable to exercise and being a Skinwalker it was very dangerous if he received no exercise. No one had gone near him because of it. He would lash out at them and bare his teeth, his ears pressed back against his skull in disturbance and his tail tucked in between his legs.
This was not normal behavior for Tomas Wolf, who was usually a calm and docile creature. But you see, wild animals are not meant to be in small cages. Wild animals are meant to roam freely or at least have a larger cage. In his cage Tomas could not run, he desperately desired to at least be let out on a leash so he could stretch his legs. Whenever a potential customer would approach his cage, he would snarl softly in warning. He was warning them that he was not to be approached now, not until he was let out to exercise. But of course, the customers always took it the wrong way and reported him as being an aggressive beast. He was really just trying to protect them. He didn’t want to hurt anyone without a viable reason to.

Why yes, Henri, I do believe in monsters Not the kind with leathery scales Bloodshot eyes or lizard tailsLark made his way through the slave market, his head down and hsi cloak up. His need for companionship drove him to this strange bazaar, but he didn't like it, not one bit. When he looked to his left, he saw pathetic slaves, begging for their lives, and when he looked right, there was always a perverted master, bargaining for the slave's lives. It was despicable...but...was he any better? 'I suppose not.' he concluded, then shook his head. It all felt so wrong, though he didn't exactly have a strong moral fiber. In fact, many called him a sociopathic monster, comparing him to the Phantom, just because he was horribly disfigured. That, and he spent much of his time in his catacombs. Was he a sociopath? He didn't think so, but he did think himself a monster, inside and out.
As Lark passed through the bazaar, many tried to look at him, seeing his pale skin and sharp, golden fingernails. He kept his head down, however. If it were up to him, he would wear a mask, but his maids had encouraged him to go without. He was already regretting it as he walked through the market, looking at each slave with his strange, daunting eyes. He remembered that when he could see the slaves, they could see him, and all he had to hide behind was a dark cloak. 'Best just get this over with...' Not the ones with razor claws Yellow fangs or gaping jaws No, I don’t believe in those monsters at all

The child let out a high pitched squeal when the male shouted and jumped ecstatically. She herself had tumbled backward and off the top of the cage. Before she hit the floor, large warm hands caught her little ones and he hair brushed the dirty floor. She was staring wide eyed at a pair of legs. "Too close, Mimi. You scared him." Mimi blinked and looked as she was pulled up back into the position she had been in before. Only now she was being lifted off the cage and set on her feet on the floor. She looked sheepish as she turned around to look at her older brother, Alex. "Ah... sorry. But, he was huddled in the corner so I didn't think he'd--" the small girl was cut off when she heard the strange male speak again. She frowned childishly and plopped down onto her knees again, only now she was on the floor. "But I don't want to go away~" Alex chuckled behind her, waving at the blue haired male as he walked off.
A little ways away, Angel blinked as she saw a smile appear on the blond male's face. He was so beautiful; how could he have possibly gotten caught, Angel wondered. The child smiled when he answered her in an equally silky tone as her own, with the tune of his own vocal chords. Angl lifted her head as she watched him begin to shift, watching the chains drag as he moved to... stand? Her violet eyes flickered to the dust that was brushed off the man's clothing, blinking as it drifted to the floor. However, her focus changed when she saw a long golden braid of silky hair. The question Oliver asked registered in her head as she gazed at that long pretty hair, watching it disappear over the man's shoulder. "A-ah um, Angel; my name is Angel." the child said, blinking and stepping back to curtsy. Her eyes traveled back up to his face, and she looked at his lovely pair of green eyes. "Mister Oliver; I hope you don't mind me asking, but did your life begin in a century that was before the 20th one?" Angel hated to be rude, but she was oh-so-curious. Men didn't always have hair like her brothers' hair. But as she had gazed upon Oliver's, it had been longer than even her Alex or Yuki. And his attire looked from half a Milena previous.
Now across the store, the previously said brothers stood in front of the Bio-engineered Vampire's cage. And she did look oh-so-innocent standing nervously in that cage. Yuki was afraid he had frightened the poor female, startled her at the very least. But nonetheless, the female did manage to come back forward and greet him, bending her knees just a little bit so she was the same height as him. Alex set his hands on his little brother's shoulders and leaned down, a gentle smile on his face. "Now, out of all the beings in this market, you pick this pale little female here? What strange taste you have. No, offense, young lady." Yuki looked sheepish as he looked away from his older brother and back at the technical vampire. The warm hands slid of the boy's shoulders and Alex walked away to check on his other little sister, Angel. Yuki blinked and straightened his posture, focusing on the bio-engineered vampire again. "Ah.. Sorry about that, miss."

That Lillium was a delicate being at these weaker times, curiosity getting the best of her. She would probably open up later on, but as she stepped out, a young man came up. Ah, this was interesting. It seemed she could catch anyone's eye pretty easily.
He had a feeling that his presence wasn't needed at the cage anymore. Perhaps she had a better chance of getting into some home with this young man, for he was just glad to have been able to talk with someone. She wasn't what he was particularly looking for. Pierce decided to leave things as is. Or in this case, just leave. He left without a word, but a small goodbye wave to Lillium before going back to walk the aisles and look around for a slave that he might be interested in. Curled in a large cat bed, fluttering black hair moved with each breath from the Spliced human, soft fluffy cat ears flicking in it's sleep. Within a few minutes the woman awoke, giving a large very cat-like yawn, feline fangs showing before her large chocolate brown eyes fluttered open. Not much had changed since she'd been in the cage, the market was still the same, the vendor was still shouting out to get peoples attention to buy her and her toys were scattered over the floor near their box. Rolling to lie flat on her belly, a long black and very fluffy tail slowly whipped around as she arched her back and stretched, a loose fit grey shirt hung off the lithe body of the cat woman, the material gently flowing over her large chest. The man that originally had her had at least had the decency to teach the girl about underwear, and the strap of her plain black bra showed on her left shoulder as the loose neck of the shirt fell down her arm. Sitting cross-legged, she wore only a simple pair of blank shorts under the shirt, almost hidden by it's length. Spying one of her favourite toys, Rayne's tail flicked and without much warning for the feathered bird toy, she pounced on it, giving a happy mewing noise
Rayne moved with a cat-like grace and agility, her movements very feline as she went from toy to toy, most of the shinier ones scattered around herself. Bored now, she yawned again and stood up, her long limbs almost perfectly proportioned with her stream lined figure as she went to the bars of her cage. Tail lazily brushing her bare legs, their lovely creamy skin tone almost hidden behind layers of dirt, the same layer on her arms, she watched the people passing by, her large orbs spotting anything and everything shiny. Then she saw him; a man with very nice shiny objects on his face. Eyes widening, a smile came to her face as she thrust her right arm out her cage, the left gripping a bar near her head as she tried so hard to reach out for the man that was very far out of reach. color=#7D0541]"Nyao~ Shiny!! Whether or not she wanted to kill, Dakota did not care. If she were to attack him, he would attack her right back until she either backed down or killed him. If he let her out, that would give her a chance to attack and run - but it would not be so easy. Sure, she could go for his throat and attempt to tear it out, but he was ready for an attack such as that. Being a lycanthrope allowed one to get used to the fact of throats being bitten and mauled. So if she was out and ready to attack, she would likely have to find another way to get to him. But then again, he could always shift into his lycan form and chase her down. And in his lycan form, his body was bigger and stronger. It was the type of halfhuman halfwolf - the type where he had hands, but also claws and fur and a tail. Running on hind legs with thick, strong legs would be an easy way to start... but then it would eventually escalate to where he used all fours and chased after her that way. Surely she didn't want that, right?
"Impatient, are we?" The male cocked his head to the side, eyes still studying her as the smirk broadened on his face. "You know, I'm not quite sure I'm wanting to buy you. I mean you're not really what I'm looking for. Besides I have no need to worry about you here... you don't seem to mind the freezing temperatures. Night has yet to come, and surely they will drop drastically, but you still seem to do just fine right now. I only hope you can keep yourself warm without a blanket, because tonight will be colder than most." The lycan shifted his balance some, but still watched every reaction she was making. "Did they mention it was going to snow? And I know they don't pull the cages indoors even in temperatures such as that. So that means you'll be stuck out here during the entire snowy night. But you'll do just fine, right?" Perhaps this was his way of wanting her to collapse - wanting her to cave to him and ask him to buy her. The lycan had his own ways of making things happen, and he would rather enjoy if she were to ask or even beg him to help her. Somehow, though, he knew that her begging would not come. No, he knew there was much more to it than this... that he would have to try a lot harder to get his way with her.
