Amelia Frances
With calm steps, as she knew she'd reach the class in time, Ammy walked down the corridor towards History. She was excited for this class, as a rumor had been spreading about the next lesson being on Quidditch. Ginelle teaching her how to fly a broom was amazing, and now she wanted to learn everything about the sport. Not that she was a sporty girl before. She ran track, as her father insisted she stayed in shape. But otherwise, she had no physical skill besides speed. She was too tiny to win a fight, so before Maggie, she'd run. Because when/if she was caught, weird things happened. Like when they pushed her face into the snow, and she couldn't breathe. She caught on fire, burning only their hands until they let go of her. She wasn't blamed, merely "reminded" by her father to avoid such rubbish. Still, it labeled her more of an outcast than ever before.

Ginelle was sitting in the class, just thinking. She was misisng home very much, and she hadn't wanted anything more than to get a letter from her mother. But, her mother had no way of contacting her. That was the hard thing about having a muggle family. She wouldn't wait for easter break, where she would go home and enjoy a chat with her mother. The good thing would be that her mother would be able to give her the presents she had gotten her for her birthday, but the best part was getting to see her other friends from the area who attended muggle school. Of course, she wouldn't tell them about magic, and she would tell them that she was accepted to a boarding school, but she would still get to see them, which was the best part.

"Thank you Miss Sparrow. I'm doing very well." Desiree now sat on the chest. There wasn't anything moving in it, surprisingly comfortable. She smiled at the three girls who entered her class. She was sure that some students might have recognized the kind of chest she sat on. Or maybe not. There was still some time left before the lesson.

Gryffindor Prefect Sparrow----Gryffindor ----3rdyear Gryffinclaw Quidditch Captain And Seeker Sparrow looked at the odd trunk that seemed familiar to her while she sat down. She pondered where she had seen something of the sorts before and then it came to her. It was a quidditch chest! Full of all the various wondrous balls, or so she thought. It wasn't moving which was odd especially since if there were balls in it bludgers are usually moving slightly no matter what. She then wondered if it was true that they were learning about quidditch history and that it was truly a quidditch chest. Her mind then wandered to the snitch she had in her room that she wasn't sure if she was allowed to have. She couldn't stand not knowing, so she said, "Professor, what might be in that chest of yours? I think I might know, but I would like to know if my assumption is correct." She then tried let a small smile appear on her face as she sat down and got out some parchment.

Amelia Frances
Amelia was mystified. To her, it was just a box. She couldn't tell anything distinguishing about it. Sure, it looked a little heavily latched, but some people are like that. And it probably was strongly built for a grown up to sit on it, but that's all she got. She sensed magic a little, but that was all over the school, it couldn't just be from the box. She shook her head, trying to think why they'd have something to show in history. Oh s**t. Dead people. What it be a skeleton that talked and moved, and told its past. Her eyes wide, Amelia inched away from the box.

"It's quidditch balls case, right?" Ginelle watched with curiosity. She stood up and moved her seat over by Amelia so she could see better. The case looked old, and the professor did mention something about starting a lesson on quidditch. Maybe it was an old quidditch set! She was very excited to start learning about the sport she just started playing.

Amelia sighed audibly in relief. That she could deal with, heck she could even get excited about that. She laughed at herself, at how she ignored the lesson plan and let her imagination run wild. Besides, it's doubtful skeletons got up and walked around after death, or that ghosts were real. Else they'd be in this old castle. There was a battle fought here. So obviously the afterlife, at least didn't continue in this world. She'd never really paid attention to what would happen after death. Her great aunt something died when she was five, but that's the closest to death she'd come. It wasn't something for a young girl like her to worry about.
In her mind, returning to the lesson, Amelia started naming the balls she knew about from Sparrow and Quidditch through the Ages. She hadn't seen them; Ginny had only showed her how to fly a broom, nothing else, so she truly was growing excited to know what each looked like.

Olli Hufflepuff ; Fifth YearOlli came racing through the door and quickly took a seat next to Amelia. "What did I miss?" she whispered. She had never actually been late to a class before, and she wondered what the teacher would do to her.

Amelia had been wondering where Olli was, she replied back in a hushed tone, "Not much--she's sitting on a Quidditch box." she informed her eagerly, wondering if the older girl had actually played the game or even seen it, a feat she hadn't yet accomplished. Turning to truly face her, as if before she was worried the professor and her next lesson would disappear, she asked, "What made you late? Oversleep?" she teased lightly, wishing for a moment that the two of them were in the same house so they could talk late at night too.

Ginelle liked the idea of being friends with Olli, because Olli was in the same house as the boy she liked. Although, she hadn't told anyone this, she seemed to like a boy in Hufflepuff. She was a year younger than him, but he seemed really nice. Being friends with another Hufflepuff brought her one step closer to him. Her face turned a bit pink thinking about it, but then she realized that it wasn't the only reason she was friends with Olli. Olli had been really nice to her, and she was an actual friend to Ginelle, unlike the people at her old school. She was a person she could relate to, although she was three years older than her, or even more than that. Olli was just a good person, and that made Ginelle want to strive to be like her.

((Aw! That was going to be Ammy's first crush! *sigh* There needs to be more guys in this guild. Maybe she'll be bi...))
Amelia too was grateful for her friendship with Olli. It didn't take a great deal of effort for her to become friends with her. Olli seemed to accept her without any of her antics, though the map quest was quite fun. But Ammy didn't have to show off to gain her friendship, and probable protection. She was fine the way she wanted to be. It was a marvelous feeling.

Olli Hufflepuff ; Fifth YearOlli nodded, having just spotted the teacher sitting on the box. Hearing Ammy's comment about her oversleeping, she smirked. "Maybe..." she said slowly, adding a suspiciously covered yawn for effect. She waved when she potted Ginny sitting nearby as well. "You're on the Quidditch team, aren't you?" she whispered to the Gryffindor. She was glad to have made friends so quickly, especially ones that were as genuinely kind as the ones surrounding her now.
[ Haha, the only good guys in the guild are all taken! Actually, now that I think about it, the only guys in the guild are taken. ]

Amelia laughed, poking her out of her yawn. She'd had so many late nights here, learning new spells she was starting to miss a good night's sleep. Tonight, she promised herself, she'd get one. She turned to greet Gin as well with a smile and a wave, already knowing her response, though listening quietly anyway.
((I think you're right.))

((I'll stay out thank you.)) ⒩⒜⒯⒣⒜⒩⒤⒠⒧ ⒲⒜⒭⒟ - 2nd year Nathaniel rushed into the class. "Hello professor." he mumbled before sitting on the closest desk to the wall. He almost tripped on the corner of the chest, escaping from utter embarrassment. History of magic started all over again. Nathaniel hoped that things would be more interesting now. The teacher looked loss in her thoughts. Sitting down, he noticed recurrent students. Ammy, Olli, Ginelle. They had lots of classes in common. He sketched a smile towards the girls.

Olli Hufflepuff ; Fifth YearOlli smiled and waved at Nathaniel before facing Ginny again in hopes of an answer. She had always wanted to play quidditch, but everywhere she went teams were always 'full'.
