"Just stay still," he said as the Leviathan growled and moved towards the Doctor, "he's only a child. He won't attack you if you don't scare him."
Several of the creatures had climbed atop the ancient apple trees. One of them leaned out too far and collapsed with a surprised squeak. The creature sniffing the Doctor turned and hissed while the spots on his back flashed randomly.
"Ah see that?" the Doctor asked with a smile, "Those spots... that's how they talk. Photopatterns. See all of them are dim, meaning they're keeping their voice down. You lot are hiding aren't you?"
The same Leviathan stared at the Doctor with a cold reptilian stare.
"It's okay... we're not here to hurt you..." he said slowly reaching out a hand towards the small draconian child. "How old are you?"
The Leviathan tasted the air with its multi-forked tongue and hesitated.

Ally watched him and the creatures. She was uneasy as he tried to make contact with the Leviathan. She hopped that he knew what he was doing.

"Hello there," the Doctor continued speaking in soft tones, "you're a beautiful young drake aren't you? Where's your mother? Hmm?"
The Leviathan tilted his head and seemed to consider. It then cheeped and the swarm of hatchlings poured forward hissing and growling.
"WHOA!" the Doctor yelped as sharp claws grabbed a hold of him and carried him off. Like fading mist, the swarm ran off into the orchard with their prey leaving Ally behind.

Ally just stood there with her head tilted to the side while comprehending all that happened. Then after taking it all in she ran after the creatures and the Doctor. She slid to a stop and hid behind a tree as she saw a empty circle with a giant creature in the middle. While he was dropped in front of the big Leviathan she searched her pockets looking for something handy.

The Doctor stumbled a bit but managed to catch himself before crashing against the gigantic monster in front of him.
"Oh, you're a big one aren't you?" he chuckled nervously as he stared at the beast who could easily eat him in one bite. "So this is mum, so nice to meet you, you've a very lovely... um... swarm."
The Leviathan rasped out a hoarse growl, as its body flashed a sequence of weak lights. All at once the fear drained out of the Doctor and it was replaced with an all too familiar pain. The creature was dying. The same hatchling that had approached him now wailed, his spots glowing brightly. With a desperate motion, the little creature headbutted the Doctor towards its mother. The light flashing what could only be the sequence for 'fix'.
"I...I'm sorry..." the Doctor replied as he saw the wide slash on the mother's side which was bleeding a glowing fluid. "I'm so sorry..."

Ally watched from a distance not really sure what was going on. She had found a small weapon in her pocket that she would be able to use if nessacary. She then realized she was in a dark area. She turned around suddenly as she heard some sounds behind her. She stayed close to the tree, having a hard time since she could not see in the dark.

The creatures in the shadows were BatWolves, not the sweet couple they had met, but scarred vicious-looking creatures. One of them held a large harpoon dotted with Leviathan blood. < > one of them asked.
<> there was a whoosh of air and a black furred BatWolf landed beside Ally. <> He asked her while his milky white eyes seemed to stare into her soul.
<>
<> O'rsle commanded before leaping into the night sky.
All at once nets began falling from the skies, trapping the hatchlings in the clearing. The Doctor spun around as the panicking swarm wailed pitifully.
"Who's there?!" he demanded drawing out his sonic screwdriver.

Ally stared out at the attacking BatWolves. She ran out and took out her device which burned the nets. She glared at the BatWolves. "Who gave you the permission to do this?"

I'vao landed in front of the Doctor with a snarl. He was a full head taller than him and his white pointed fangs were bared menacingly.
<>
"These are not your orchards. They belong to Th'ang," the Doctor said coldly the young Leviathan hid behind him trembling. "Why are you attacking these creatures?"
<> I'vao sneered. <>
O'rsle swooped down and seized Ally's wrist in his claw. <>
The other BatWolf nodded and unsheathed something that looked like a cross between a spear and a cattle prod. It crackled with electricity.
<> I'vao smirked.
The Doctor barred his way. "No, you're not harming them. I'm warning you... you'll not touch them."

Ally growled at O'rsle as he grabbed her wrist. "It dosen't matter who's land or sky this is, these helpless creatures that your just going to kill without caring." she said while she pulled her wrist away. Her eye's moved to the Doctor. "It won't be to pretty if you don't listen to what he says."

O'rsle snarled and snapped his jaws at Ally.
<> he snarled. <>
I'vao cracked his lance towards the nearest hatchling but the Doctor shot out an arm and blocked it. He gritted his teeth as several thousand volts of current shot through him.
"I said... no," he rumbled murderously and lit up his sonic screwdriver. A high pitched sound blasted through the air forcing the BatWolves to cover their ears.

Taking this chance Ally ran towards the Doctor. She gave him a knowing look that a fight was on it's way.

The Doctor braced himself as the terrified youngsters huddled behind their two protectors. "I understand you have suffered a great loss," the Doctor said patiently, "but you can't take out your anger on these little ones. You've already taken their mother, just leave them be." It was O'rsle who recovered first. His lips were curled back in a snarl as his hackles rose. < > The BatWolf growled.
<> I'vao taunted as he rose behind O'rsle. <>
The Doctor's gaze turned grim. "Then if you know what I am, you should also know who I am... I am the Doctor, I am the last Lord of Time, and I am far from compassionate."

Ally felt uneasy when the other said they would be a good meal. She looked over at the Doctor "Keep them safe." she said while taking out her device again and pointed it to the BatWolves and walked in front of the Doctor "if you know who I am then you know what I'm capable of" she said with a serious look on her face

<> O'rsle grinned his tail swishing the air.
"No," the Doctor said through clenched teeth placing a restraining hand on Ally, "you musn't do this. The BatWolves fight to the death."
<> the other laughed. <>
I'vao gave a wolfish smile. <>
The Doctor looked taken aback but quickly composed himself.
"Be that as it may," he said quietly, "we cannot allow you to continue..."
