Reaper just stared at the other man, his hair standing on standing on end and his arms curled back as though he were ready to spring off of the table. Not that he could...not with the tube still in his chest and the restraints on his legs. But he was more than eager to go.
But...he just stared. Then let out a very low, very shaky breath. He didn't answer Cat, but he nodded his head. His shaky hands move towards the straps on his legs.
Rapture's grin curled farther. "Aw...that's right little Myers boy. Hurry up and get out of here so you can run crying to mommy. Maybe she'll actually do something this time." he purred.
If he couldn't get in to Reaper...then he'd try to have Reaper come to him.

"YOU SON OF A-" Cat snarled, taking a step towards him before she could think better of it. His hands on her waist, wrapped in tentacles, couldn't move, his breath on her neck, and now he was bringing up...
Making a visible effort to control herself, she turned and started ripping at the straps more violently than was absolutely necessary. Some role model she was. Under her breath, she started calculating prime numbers, just to give herself something to think about that didn't involve eviscerating the man on the other side of the door. "...One... Two... Three... Five... Seven... Eleven... Thirteen..."

Rapture laughed out loud at her. "My, my. You are a feisty one." he purred, his grin taking on a more sinister glint. "I'm going to have fun with you..."
Reaper stopped pulling apart the straps around his legs and shot the man a lethal glare. He growled. A very audible, dangerous, inhuman growl.
Rapture's smirk fell a bit, and his expression became curious. "Really now? Not a thing about running home to your **** of a mother, but you get mad when I turn my attention onto your friend?"
"Enough." Xion commanded. "I've had as much of your perverse nature than I can stand."

Cat just gritted her teeth and kept ripping at the restraints. Running out of time... "...23... 29... 31...37...31... 43..." She was getting him out of here even if she had to drag him, kicking and screaming. She remembered where the museum entrance was, and as this... god... thing... seemed to be preoccupied with keeping the other man out of trouble, maybe he would stay out of their hair.

Soon the leg restraints were gone, leaving only the tubes coming out of Reaper's chest. Reaper put his hand around the base of it, but was rather hesitant to do anything to it. He didn't want....if it was attached to his heart, like it had been before...and Rapture was here and waiting. He didn't let anything show on his face though. Just kept his eyes trained on the other man.
"Unlikely." Xion said out loud...to seemingly no one in particular.

Cat had been staring at the tubes in Reaper's chest with much the same expression that he had. She didn't know enough about medicine to feel comfortable trying anything...
However, at the stranger's words, she turned around and stared at him. That was right... He could probably read minds, seeing as that was how he'd communicated before. Well, that idea was out the window then; it was teleportation or nothing.
After a moment of intense thought, she jumped up, the movement smooth and graceful as something out of Circe De Sole, and started disconnecting the tubes from their source in the ceiling. It still wasn't exactly safe, but it was better than trying to pull the other ends out of his chest; they could teleport out of here with the things still attached, and sort everything out (meaning major surgery?) back in the relative safety of the Sanctum.

((I'm actually sort of surprised that he let it get this far, to be honest. ^^
Whatever you think. The only reason that I could think of for him to leave them alone is for him to sense the new, very Dr Strange like person and decide to go and check it out... although he really could just wait to do that. /shrug. So... yeah. ))

// Alrighty, he's unfortunately been too busy to notice what's going on in NYC. He might if he goes after Gold Star though. I will try to have him live up to his namesake. ^^ ///
The being glanced back into the room, then gave a little sigh. "You're wasting your energy. Weather this building is powered or not...he's not going anywhere."
Rapture glanced back up at the man. "....so you're not helping them get away?"
"No." he replied simply. "I was simply told not to let you into the room. For some reason, the woman believes that you'll only help destroy what's left of the building."
Rapture stared at him a moment, then grinned and looked back into the room. "Well then...if I can't have Blackstone, can I at least have a new pet?" he asked, eyeing Cat.

Cat, who had just finished disconnecting the last of the tubes, immediately jumped down and backed up, her expression defiant... and subtly afraid in a way that it hadn't been since Azazel had last been a real, present threat. She had failed to get Reaper out. Her jawline hardened, and she glanced over at him. ... Dammit. And now...? No way in hell was she going to be anyone's... pet, not if she had a damn thing to say about it.

Reaper slid off the table, trying to make sure that the wires didn't get damaged, and tried to place himself between Cat and Rapture. He stared the other man down, trying hard not to let his Blood form show. There was no point in it. Not if...this X character wasn't going to let them go. Most he could do was try to fight off Rapture if he came inside.
"You're not letting me go. Then what about her?" he said quietly.
"I was more than willing to let her leave before. But...after that little display on our building, I'm afraid I can't let her leave now." Xion replied.
Rapture grinned. "Fine by me."
Reaper growled again.

"When Doctor Strange gets back," Cat spat, her whole body tense with too many emotions to count--all of them of the extremely negative variety. "You are all going to be incredibly unhappy. I'd almost feel sorry for you if I weren't so busy hating your guts."
She wasn't sorry that she'd stayed behind. If this stranger's reaction was anything to go by, getting other people wouldn't have done anything. At least this way, she'd set their project back. She couldn't even imagine how much money she'd just cost them, and she was fairly certain she'd cost them a substantial investment of TIME as well. Maybe she'd bought the other heroes enough time to figure something out, or enough time for Strange to get his a** back to their dimension. She couldn't regret that.
Plus... she'd suggested this. It was her fault that Reaper was in here. She'd felt like... well, like she couldn't leave without at least trying to get him out of the mess she'd gotten him into.

Xion visibly tensed after Cat had mentioned Strang.
Rapture's smile grew. "Aw, that hurts. Perhaps after we spend some quality time together, you'll--* " he began, then suddenly found it impossible to speak.
Xion, now looking more and more like X with his little 'do I really have to put up with this' expression, glanced down at Rapture. "You're thoughts are quite distasteful enough without you voicing them."
Rapture glared at him.
Xion kept his gaze on the man for a moment, then turned and started into the room. "Now then...what to do with you two."

Cat took an automatic step backward, and then forced herself to stop. This man was the definition of intimidating... although she had noticed his reaction to Strange's name. It seemed to imply that he was worried about the possibility of the sorcerer's return, which was something of a comfort. She didn't say anything, though; it wasn't as though her input on this subject was going to make any difference.

Reaper tensed and tried to get into a bit of a better defensive position.
Xion walked up towards the two, then stopped as he got closer to Reaper. He looked at him thoughtfully for a moment. Then gave a little shrug. "What the hell. The woman's destroyed half of the building anyway." he said quietly.
The wires in Reapers heart disintegrated, and the hole in his chest slowly sealed itself up. Reaper looked a little stunned at first, then he noticed the look in the man's eye.
"Now then...what is that little trick X liked to do? Ah, yes. This."
Reaper's eyes widened, and he jerked back, letting out a scream as he crumpled to the ground.
