Inka Hizara
xxxx˪ ˲ 'It was all useless! It couldn't save her! Useless!'

Inka was late. He knew he was. The genin had timed his departure from his apartment so he would arrive at the school on time. But Inka had to suddenly take the long way to his destination. The main road Inka needed to take was blocked by certain individuals he had to avoid. He just had to. But Inka didn't let it deter his good mood. It was rare for Inka to wake just content, and he wasn't going to let it be ruined by anyone. Reaching the school, Inka entered and started walking through it, looking for his teacher. It took him a few minutes, but he eventually found her in the backyard, sitting on a small boulder. The genin didn't actually recognise her at first, and he still wasn't sure even now, because of the change of outfit. "Sensei." He spoke, standing to her left.

Breathing in & out, the time was passing slowly, but Nekita couldn't tell. Nudged out of the meditation by a single word, 'Sensei', her eyes came a flutter while a yawn escaped passed her covered lips. Stretching, she replied, "Good morning, Inka. Glad to see that you've arrived! I hope you were able to rest well." Nodding to the med-nin, he casually strode over with the 4th stage of Juurai scroll-bound in his hands. After delivering it, he backed off to his resting tree, keeping an eye on the situation as the first jutsu would be the deadliest. Nekita would wait for an excuse for being late before nodding in an understanding, moving on to start the last available stage. She had prepared for teaching it by changing her normal teacher's outfit to that of one with more mobility. Everything else, such as the slight hair color, was merely for cosmetic's sake. "This is the highest level that you're allowed to learn, currently. And it starts by..."

[ Ooc: Wow.. extremely long wait.. sorry emotion_facepalm ]

So a fight it was! This would actually be pretty useful in the future, as Kamishiro was sure he would be fighting those higher ups soon. Maybe not too soon, or soon at all he guessed, but soon enough? His short katana would be swiftly released released as he followed the monk. "Work together? Sure." A devilish smile grew on his face as the katana would be extended towards the ground at his side. He was ready to sprint forward, but would not do so yet. That would only draw attention to himself, which he did not want right now. If he had to fight with nothing, he would use nothing smart. "I'm ready~"

xxxx˪ ˲ 'Bang!'

Inka nodded in return to Nekita's greeting, face basically impassive except for a cheeky smirk on his thin lips, feeling more himself after a good night's rest. "Positively dreamy." He replied, the corny comment coming almost naturally. The genin was fine to just get along with his training, but he noticed that his teacher stood, as though waiting for something. He raised an eyebrow, his smirk melting into a frown. What did she want now? An excuse? "Tsk, the road was blocked." He spoke. It wasn't a lie, not really. It was blocked for him, just probably not anyone else. But Nekita nodded and went along with the training. Inka pouted his lips, not amused by how quickly Nekita seems to just jump about topics so easily.

But the genin stood and listened intently, face serious when he learned how deadly the technique truly is. Jeez, if the wind turns against him, it could kill him as well. What a deadly skill to learn - it doesn't leave much time for fleeing, getting to a hospital, and then being administered the antidote if exposed for too long. [1/6] Inka wasn't sure about using this kind of smoke bomb - he'd really need to concentrate and be absolutely sure when using this. It was a damn good thing that Nekita managed to snag a medic ninja to oversee the procedures. Inka still didn't like the idea of holding something so deadly on his person. Still, he held the deadly pellets in his hand, dark red eyes inspecting it hesitantly. Yeah, he'll definitely need to grow some confidence with practice for this technique [2/6].

He looked up at Nekita briefly before closing his hand around the purple spheres and looking around the area, noticing it was devoid of people. Perfect. Inka held one ball in his free hand, rolling it gently, not wanting it to explode before he was ready. But, first, he needed to see how big these things can explode - what was the radius of the boom, in other words. [3/6] Spotting a target, Inka aligned his body into getting ready to throw the pellet. Shoulders back, knees bent, dark eyes narrowed before Inka finally threw the pellet. Aim true, the purple ball struck a large rock and exploded into a cloud. The genin crouched down and watched, trying to figure out how long the cloud would last before dissolving into the air and becoming harmless. [4/6] It was thick, heavy, and it stayed en mass for quite a while, but its density kept it a little small, meaning more than one pellet was needed to - ah~ Inka suddenly had an idea and smiled, thin lips twisted, cheeky, toying, and dark.

The genin could combine the purple pellets with regular smoke bombs to mask the poison, but Inka could also mask them with chilli pepper bombs obtained from his teacher, and the latter would mask the poison even better. But it would also force the attacker to back away and out of the poison as well, meaning a waster of the poisonous technique... unless he used the chilli to force the opponent into the masked poisonous cloud... [5/6] Inka suddenly thought to himself that he was having a little too much fun with concocting schemes and moves to go along with this new technique.

The genin stood and faced his teacher, still smiling, hands behind his back. He felt a little more confident knowing that the smoke pellets were only as effective as the length of time that they are breathed in. It definitely needs some cunning in their use, however. [6/6] Cunning was something Inka always tried to be his best in - what else did he have to work with? Muscle? Not likely. Hmm, maybe he should get a mask or something? Then he could work inside the smoke without choking or dying - how fun. Or he could just trap them.

Inka dropped a pellet, and black smoke enveloped him. The second he found he could no longer see his teacher, Inka threw out a net of wire [Juu Kousen no Hitojichi [ Hostage of Ten Steel Wires ]] to ensnare his teacher, along with two pellets, one ahead of the other; a normal smoke bomb and a poisoned one. The latter to be masked by the former. Inka briefly wondered if there was a taste or smell to the purple sphere that would mark it out from regular bombs.

It was already a point, where the two of them were just sitting and staring. He'd yet to even do anything to even remotely impress them. The monk leaped back, not more than four paces, but it was enough to coerce a little bit of thought between the pair of genin. Shrugging, Alzayr decided it would be of more use to actually lead off somehow. With the range he'd given himself, the instructor withdrew from his sash a pair of shuriken. Practice in the Honshi Arts gave him an edge, sending the two shuriken flying under the use of the Bent Arsenal. The first flying level with Kamishiro's eyes. Of course, that was angling exponentially downward for the young man's foot.

Having dramatized the first swing, he did much the same for the second shuriken. This one soared along near the ground, arcing upward toward Akira's shoulder. These theatrical tactics were simple enough. His hand went for the long sword over his shoulder, drawing the sacred sword, letting flow his chakra into the sword. He made certain not to draw it, and reveal its blue coloration.

[i'll put in my chakra amoutn in the next post after clarifying the usage.]

Akira drew one of his blades when Alzayr increased his distance from him and Kamishiro. He brought his blade and let it just before his shoulder, noting the shuriken thrown at him, he had to think someone at Alzary's level had something up his sleeve, he slashed downward sending chakra thru his sword, creating a spiraling chakra at the shuriken, however due to the size the spiraling chakra kept going towards Alzayr after knocking the projectile away. He wasn't sure it would be as easy as he originally thought to make a spar, however he wouldn't himself make it easy.

As Inka's poison ball struck the rock off in the distance, the med-nin shifted his eyes quickly from the two of us to the rock. He scanned the area for pedestrians & wind patterns, taking note of who was where & what the smoke was doing. Relaxing, he leaned back onto the tree as Inka went into deep thought mode. Nekita took heed as the Genin surrounded himself in smoke, going on guard by popping out her 'newest' practice fan, it in the same old beat up shape as the last. The med-nin straightened up as well, but took no action as the smoke didn't seem to be the poisonous kind. When a sudden action came flying forth, Nekita leaned back in hesitation, falling over with feet high in the air. The net wrapped about her guarded legs & forced her to roll backwards more into a sitting position just as the pellets exploded overhead. On cue, the med-nin dashed over & through the smoke, tackling Nekita to out of the way. Immediately, he started the extraction process for the poison, readily drawing it out as she coughed. "That's not funny, young man," he sternly commented as the poison blob formed outside of Nekita's body. Tossing it aside, he pulled out a surgical knife, cutting away the nets before turning the poison extraction jutsu onto himself.

Sliding out from under the medical shinobi, Nekita glared at Inka.
"Jeez you're feisty." She had known about the dangers of the training, which is why she had managed to bring along the helper, & only a few more jutsus remained for the level. Dusting herself off as the man tossed his poison blob to the side, Nekita steered clear of the smoke, not sure entirely of which one was the poisonous version, & settling by a support post to the building. Now the entirety of the backyard was available, both her & the med-nin currently not sitting in the middle of it. "Ahem... the next jutsu is... and requires no chakra..." There was plenty of forest space to Inka's left, & several large rocks dotted the open green space in front of him. To his right sat the building and its walkways, & that was where his teacher and the medical assistant stood leaning.

Inka Hizara
xxxx˪ ˲ 'Bang!'

Inka stepped out of the smoke after he had thrown the net, watching to see what had happened, a small smirk still in place that was only reinforced by the sight of his ensnared teacher on the ground. Hand in his pockets he watched the entire scene unfold without aid from his behalf. Inka shrugged when reprimanded by the medic and his smirk grew even further at his teacher's glare. "How do you two expect me to learn, huh? Just think about using it? After all, that's why you got the medic. Might as well take that to my advantage." He turned to his right to face his teacher.

But Inka settled and listened, the clouds of smoke and poison both slowly disintegrating in the air with the breeze around him as he took in what Nekita had to say about the next technique he was going to learn. So far, Inka was finding the Bukijutsu to be really useful - perhaps even more so than any previous techniques he had learned. They all gave him options and strategies to subdue and out-do his opponent. This new technique would also be one that he could twist and implement with his cunning - and to also end a fight [1/6]. So, Inka would need to conceal his position. Well, that could be fun to implement depending on the environment. Like now; how could Inka conceal himself here? Do some hop-and-skips around the boulders, throwing smoke bombs as distractions? He could do the same with the trees. But Nekita isn't in either environment, and such a plan sounded boring. Inka needed some innovation here. Ah. Innovation; v - a V-formation attack. [2/6]

Inka pulled out two smoke bombs and turned away from his teacher, signalling with body language that he wasn't ready to attack. Inka knew he'd need to practice technique he was hoping to implement here, so he picked a rock as his target and rolled the smoke pellets in his hand. Gripping the pellets so they lined up his palm, Inka threw them, a flick of the wrist down, palm up, propelling the pellets forward. They landed close together and Inka frowned, repeating the process but spacing the pellets out in his hand further and flicking his wrist harder. The smoke bombs landed more spaced out this time and Inka proceeded to the next phase of his plan; three pellets. However, the three pellets landed in a group, and Inka frowned, thinking he might have to throw them differently - he certainly couldn't space them out any further in his hand. Inka tried something different, throwing the balls sideways, and then with a pellet between the fingers, before finally settling with a underhand throw getting the best results that Inka was looking for. Deciding that, the genin continued pracising with the throw until he was satisfied with it with both hands. [3/6]

Inka stood, waiting for all the smoke to clear, playing with the smoke pellets in both hands, the dagger he used for close-combat holstered on his right hip while his bullroarer was hooked snugly on its latch on his left. Area clear, Inka's stance changed, getting ready to dash forward, hands holding the smoke bombs behind his back. Eyes focused on his target, Inka's muscles tensed, getting ready. [4/6] The genin threw the pellets, and they exploded out like a v - starting from the base where Inka stood. Three were thrown from each hand, and Inka dashed forward up one of the lines, being sure to stay out and behind the smoke, his original position having been masked by the closest exploding pellets. He stayed behind the smoke as if awaiting the appearance of thrown projectiles. [5/6] Reaching the end of the smoke, Inka dashed in like a U-turn, coming at the targeted rock from behind

The genin had to be careful here not to just end up ramming into the rock himself nor miss, overshoot, or even undershoot his attack. So Inka was careful to count his steps, having kept a mind's map on where the rock should still be. Dashing through the smoke, dagger in hand, Inka launched a fist holding the weapon, fingers opening just before he would strike the rock, not wanting to either crush his fingers or blunt his weapon needlessly. His hand struck the rock and he smiled, knowing his aim had been true. [6/6]

Dark eyes turned to look through the slowly disappearing smoke, waiting for a few seconds, holstering his dagger and pulling out three more pellets. Inka dashed forward and out of the smoke, waiting until he was the right length away before throwing the smoke bombs, skidding to a stop before his now free hands went through hand signs, but this was hidden by the smoke. He used Aseru [ To Fade ] to disappear and reappear behind a column in the walkway right behind Nekita. Again keeping a mental map of how many steps to take, Inka was quick to launch himself, dagger in hand, and strike out at his teacher's back, both her and the med surrounded by smoke from the pellets. Inka didn't attack with the blade of his weapon though, instead aiming to strike with the butt of its hilt.

Both shinobi watched on precariously as Inka continued to advance his skills to higher & higher degrees. Nekita hadn't sheathed her fan from the previous drawing, & was leaning there against the post as the genin worked upon his V-Attack, a foot braced up at knee heighth. Fanning herself lightly as the warmth of the day drew nearer, she glanced over as the familiar click of dagger sheathing sounded, a smile creeping to her lips. That meant this was feisty time once again, since Inka had finished perfecting Funkei no Jutsu. As he threw down several pellets, she took no chances that it could have been the poisonous kind. Kicking off of the post, she dashed forwards & opened her hand fan, waving it upwards from her waist towards the edge of the obscuring clouds. A wind having been summoned, the trees beyond rustled as the temperature plummeted from the channeled Suiton, a wide swath cutting through the smoke to reveal no Inka. [ Elemental Burst ] Spinning about, she checked the area towards the open dojo, the main backyard, & then finally over near where she just was, spotting a blurry Inka shoulder behind her resting post. "All clear," the med-nin announced. "I need to invest in a rebreather mask," Nekita sighed, keeping her fan up still. Snapping it shut, it slid into her sleeve as she took residence in front of the first trees of the forest. "I have a feeling that Zanzou no Jutsu will be useful if anyone can actually spot you, Inka. I'm having troubles just as is!"

A wide smile broke into the face of the boy once the battle had begun. Both his teammate and sensei had started their assaults and so Kamishiro would do the same. Almost as if disregarding the thrown shiruken, the boy rushed forward, his katana dragging along the ground and leaving a line in it's wake. Upon arrival of the dastardly range weapon, the boy would bring his katana upwards to perform an uppercut type motion that would knock the thrown weapon up into the air. Even with the drop that the genin did not even notice, it would still be smacked away from him. Quickly, he would bring the sword below his feet and plant it within the ground for him to stand on. Bringing his hands together in a praying motion, he would lower his head in the typical short bow.

Inka Hizara
xxxx˪ ˲ 'Bang!'

Inka stood, leaning against the pillar that Nekita had been resting against just seconds ago. Hands were in his pockets, the dagger sheathed once more once he realized he had failed at landing a blow. "Yeah, well, you can only blame yourself for that." Inka teased with a small smirk, a double meaning behind his words, implying that Nekita was either not good enough to keep up, or her training was too good for even her.

Inka didn't move from his position leaning against the support column the entire time that Nekita explained the jutsu. Zanzou no Jutsu [ Afterimage Technique ] seemed to require a different form of concentration than the rest of the jutsu - moving while also performing the technique. And how would it work, would the clones move as one, like a blurry image, or could he use a single one to trail behind him, draw the attention of the opponent while Inka came in from behind? [1/6] Thinking aside, Inka still had to figure out how to activate it before he could learn how to use it. The genin shifted, moving so his back was pressed completely against the column, dark eyes closed and hands still in his pant's pockets. Comfortable in the uncommonly comfortable position, he concentrated inward on his chakra.

Inka focused on the core of his being, feeling the chakra flowing through it through its channels throughout his entire body. He paid particular attention to how his chakra was moving through his body, making himself a plan in his head on how to use his chakra in order to activate the jutsu. [2/6] Concentrating it into his core wouldn't work - would it? No, he'd need to spread it out, so his chakra could take on his image completely. Concentrating it in his core is quick for dispatch but it could risk not taking on a complete image of himself - or so Inka reasoned. The genin's face was completely impassive during the entire time that he was playing with his chakra, spreading it out through his body to the tips of his being, playing with it, trying to see how fast he could get with it. After a number of attempts and quite a few minutes of the genin simply not moving, he finally started to stir. [3/6]

Dark eyes opened slowly, used to the pitch black behind his eyes instead of the bright light from the sun. Even after the minutes of concentration, Inka had not forgotten the hand signs required to activate the jutsu. Looking down to his hands, he slowly worked through the required signs, fingers getting used to the combinations from practice, only pausing briefly at the end of the sequence before repeating it over once more. Inka's goal here was to become quick and adept at these signs to allow quicker activation of the jutsu. [4/6] Inka liked being fast and agile, it made for his lack of brawn and pessimistic disposition. Injuries hinder his thinking, so he does his best to avoid obtaining them.

Finally standing up from the column, Inka stretches his back and neck, the muscles, eased by yesterday's long submersion in the hot springs, came loose easily. The genin's body had been trained from a young age into becoming flexible and building muscles in areas to help him in running and hauling only his own body weight. Inka leaped forward, intending to practice spreading his chakra through his body when he was concentrating on making quick movements. Inka performed a Tabi Koutai [ Tabi Shift ] focusing on his chakra as he did so, feet sliding on the ground as his course suddenly changed. The genin felt the chakra spread through him, but he felt the timing was a little off, so he tried again, repeating the process a further four times until he felt it timed to his liking. [5/6]

Inka skidded into a u-turn to stop, his chest rising and falling calmly. Fingers twitching slightly, his mind quickly going over the hand signs before he lurched forward once more, ready. Inka used Tabi Koutai [ Tabi Shift ] and his body slid in a sharp, almost unrealistic right-turn. As his body did this, Inka's hands went through the signs as chakra pulsed through him. The chakra was sapped from him and an image of himself flickered into life behind him, following the actions he had just taken, following him even as he leaped up and jumped off from the trunk of a tree. [My apologies, but life has interfered some. For the time being, I must interrupt our spar, and instead I'll be making use of some of the free time to think of something a spot more interesting.]

The very fact that the two were so daring in their avoidance of the projectiles, despite the aerial curve. It was fairly bothersome, but all the while, there seemed a shiver down his spine. Perhaps there was something else he was supposed to be off doing? With the students though... He couldn't think of what he should do. He inhaled a moment, feeling the very state of his being. Control. The boy had released raw chakra, but it wasn't anything of true note. His own sword lashed out, releasing a crescent of chakra of his own. Shunkan no Hagane's Offense of Steel, hurtling forward between the two of the genin. A simple show of power, cutting into the dojo's floor.

"I'm afraid I can't do this just today, fellas," the monk spoke ever so simply, "It's a shame, but we'll have to put this on the back burner." The sword was sheathed once more, and shook his crimson mane.

Nearly done, Inka had grown by leaps & bounds, & now he was even able to make more of himself! Pulling up the tail end of the scroll, its tassles swung back & forth as if in eagerness. Could its swinging signal a first master to the style, within all of Kirigakure's history? Only one known level was left, & Inka would need the advantages of being a Chuunin to discover its wealth of knowledge and deep pools of respect. "This is the last technique for the level... the Art of Camouflage. We'll have to see about available missions after this, to allow us to grow more. Ready?"

Gisou no Waza [ Art of Camouflage ]
Complex :: Rank B
The user will begin by drawing a trio of smoke pellets from his person, and tossing them against the ground. As the smokescreen rises, the user performs a string of handsigns and allows his chakra to lie dormant. As the smokescreen dissipates, the user will have seemingly faded. His chakra signature, and his very being seemingly gone in a poof of smoke. For a short amount of time, the user is free to move in an active camouflage style of stealth.

[ Ooc: No problem~ I myself am tied up here and there. ]

Perched atop his sword, the boy would watch in awe as the crescent slash of chakra was flung in between him and his "partner." Kamishiro always loved to see new things. If he had never seen something before, it interested him. The boy would not only want to see more of it, but more new things with it. Seeing the same old tricks would grow boring, which was something the young genin would never want to happen. Boredom kills nowadays. "Whaaa?" He softly whined as he jumped down from his position. To stop the fight that only just began, it was crazy! "Then what else are we supposed to do!?"[ The child did not relatively care that he would come off as annoying or needy. Something interesting appeared and now it was slowly leaving.

Inka nodded, weapons holstered and hands in his pockets once again as he awaited the instructions and descriptions for the last jutsu. The last one, he thought, a little glad. It was fun to learn new things, but he'd learned so much and has had little time to come up with combinations or chances of implementations with other jutsu. And the genin loved to come up with schemes. Inka listened, dark eyes watching carefully as the hand signs were shown to him. Raising his own, the self-renounced Shakuton clan member stretched his hands and rubbed them together, getting ready to go over the signs himself. [1/6]

Inka took his time the first few rounds, trying to find a rhythm and flow between the signs. After each cycle, Inka would pause, a physical reminder where the signs would stop. The last thing he needed was to add a few extra signs in the heat of the moment. He knew it could cost him dearly if he messed up. [2/6] After a few tries Inka was finally starting to get into a smooth transition between signs and his speed was beginning to pick up as a result. He still took the same amount of time between each bout of signs, however, as a safety precaution. Over and over, Inka's hands worked, his eyes watching the way his fingers moved, slowly working through any snags until his digits began to get used to and avoid any collisions. [3/6]

When the genin found himself able to get through the entire sequence on hand signs without trip, stutter, or hesitation, he stopped. Leaning back against a tree Inka tilted his head back and his posture sunk until he was comfortable, knees slightly bent. Dark, bloody-red eyes closed, Inka went through the signs again, to see if he could do them without looking. His hands were dangling at his sides before snapping up and running through the signs without problem. [4/6] Satisfied, Inka moved on to the next step - still without looking Inka's hands began to run through cycles for other jutsu. He went through jutsu he'd just learned and some he'd known for months, going through several before finally rerunning through the sequence for Gisou no Waza [ Art of Camouflage ]. Letting out a sigh, Inka stood from the tree, stretching his neck and rolling his shoulders, but eyes staying closed.

Having finished with hand signs, and proving he could still recall newly learned techniques as well, Inka moved his focus inward. [5/6] He slowed and controlled his breathing, narrowing his attention to the core of his being, and the core of his body's chakra system. There, he felt out the veins stemming from the bud, feeling each one as chakra pulsed through them, reaching out into the corners of his body. Breathing slow, the genin's hands moved, coming together once again. One held two smoke pellets. They spheres were dropped and Inka's hands went into action. Traversing the sequence, Inka focused on his chakra, drawing it in towards his core as he attempted to activate the jutsu, imagining the core as a dam. [6/6]

The jutsu activated and aided Inka in his focus on his chakra, draining a bit to seep through his body and halt the pulsing beats of the genin's core. Eyes opening Inka moved, testing to see how well his chakra remained still inside of him. First he flexed and stretched before finally leaping backwards, twirling around and hiding behind the trunk of the tree he had been resting against.
