Someone explain to me how this is balanced. Okay, the best response I know of to a Protoss FFE is to take a fast third. I get attacked at 9:35 with two Void Rays with more on the way and six or seven Zealots. My third had just barely finished, what the ******** am I supposed to defend with? This build is broken, it is too high a reward for so VERY little risk. What the hell could I have done better?
And I swear to god, if I get another wall of text analysis I'mma beat you.

The guy was diamond, right? He probably knows how complacent zergs have become with FFE counter and wanted to put some pressure on you. You just weren't prepared because most toss at gold-plat are content to turtle in their base until they have some unstoppable death ball.
Moar invasive scouting seems to be the answer here (dunno if you saw that probe or not, but that should've been a red flag). You could've held off if you had had a minute to prepare in advance.
And ideally, if you're going for Stephano's 12 min max out, you should already have your bases and drones at ~8:00 min. Ideally.
Actually, looking at liquipedia, what you experienced isn't an atypical response to fast third. I'm gonna post a quote from the board:

ZvZ on Newkirk Precinct TE Normally I despise ZvZ because every game is that stale muta/ling and whoever gets mutas out first wins. This guy's muta count was epic compared to mine but he must have been timid or something because he never really pushed in even though he could have won. In the end I got fed up trading mutas with him and just swarmed him with 3/3 cracklings.
