Haikimaru Taninaka made a handsome smile. "Divine." The teenager commented. It seemed that he was reliving his memories of the hot springs and soaking in them right now. "On cold nights there is nothing better than crawling into a hot spring to warm up."

Haikimaru smiled. "I would make it at the top of your list. I say it's a must do." He told the Dryad.

Haikimaru smiled at the woman. He was happy to sit and chat with her. "It was my pleasure I was happy to do it for you. Just please come and talk with me and not be afraid to talk."

Tai hobbled his way into the cafe, and closed the door behind him. His legs were already starting to become sore. "Outta shape, somewhat outta style loser... yep, I hear the nicknames already.." He muttered to himself. Straightening up, he smiled at the front desk lady (wearing a maid outfit,) "Uh... hi... can I get a table for two?" He asked.

She nodded, making idle chatter with him as she directed him to a table. As she walked off, Tai noticed a slip of paper on the table, and swept it off to the side, noticing a number on it. He looked at it befuddled. It was a ten digit code with two dashes to seperate parts of the code... he stared at it for a bit. He began looking at it, trying to break the code, whatever it was. The enigma code... no, that followed a different pattern. A type of morse code, perhaps? He tapped it out on the desk, finding that it really didn't spell anything of importance... but, that may be apart of the code, the weird word he got.

Taking out a slip of paper himself, he began writing on it.

Tai nodded up at her, his paper he had almost completely turned black by the ink scribbles he had made. Nothing he had made any sense... whatever the number was trying to tell him, he couldn't figure it out.

Tai sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Well, it's supposed to help me keep my thoughts organized while I figure stuff out. This time, I'm using it to crack a code." He picked up the smaller slip of paper with the ten digit code on it. "This thing right here has me entirely stumped. The lady at the front desk left it, I think. She may be trying to tell me something, but I'm not entirely sure what it is... everything comes up as something that doesn't make sense, or it comes out as simply numbers on paper..."

Without any further clues, and his mind entirely stumped, he scribbled everything out on his paper. "I can't figure it out... you think you might know what it is?" He asked.

Tai tilted his head in confusion. "Number?" He repeated. Sure, he knew that people often gave people each others number for business purposes, sometimes if they wanted to be friends. "Well, I..." Tai blushed in embarrassment. Here he was trying to figure out some super secret message, and all it was; was a simple number. Taking the piece of paper he had done scratch work on, he simply took it into his hand and folded it neatly, focusing on that task. Clearing his throat, he tried to fill the silence with a feasable excuse. "I... thought she was trying to tell me something else, like... the soup special... or..." He paused for a second, slipping the paper into his pocket. "Or... the price for coffee, or a winning lottery number... or..." He hid his face behind his hand, laughing at himself, "Or... there's no real reason I should have figured that ten digit number could be much more than a phone number..."

He looked up at her, trying to keep the embarrassment from staining his cheeks anymore than it already had. "This is really sad... I can't believe I tried to get a secret code out of that..."

((OOC: Glad you caught onto it. biggrin It was really hard for me to find the proper clues and not make it a dead give away to what it was.))

Tai laughed and shook his head. "I don't think I'd make a good spy. If this morning was a reference to my physical prowess, I'd be captured pretty quickly." He looked back at the front desk lady, and she managed to lock eyes with him for a brief moment, but, he shook his head. The moment she realized just how weird he was, she'd probably never talk to him again, so, he took the short cut, and took the paper, pretending to put it in his pocket, but instead, dropped it on the floor. That way, feelings wouldn't be hurt when he didn't call... if that were her real number at all. It wouldn't be the first time a girl gave him a false number.

When the waitress arrived, and Bellatrix had made her order, he did the same. "I'll take a triple shot cappucino." The waitress nodded and said she'd be right back. Tai thought for a second, and wondered to himself if they had anything worth eating... he flipped through the first few pages, and saw that, surprisingly, the stuff wasn't too terribly expensive. He could easily pay for both he and Bellatrix... not that money was an issue, he'd offer to buy regardless of price. "Say, Bellatrix..." He began, "Would you like anything to eat? I'll buy."

"Ah, okay." He replied, deciding it would be best if he too, did not eat in front of Bellatrix. He had noticed he had a really bad habit of making a mess of himself when he ate... and he often times became uncivilized when he ate, perhaps even inhuman. "I... had... something small to eat as well." His stomach growled lowly, and he tried to hide the sound by clearing his throat. "I'll just... get something from the school vendors later." He looked up at her, his blue eyes locking with her green ones. A green that easily cold've been mistaken as emerald spheres. He also had to admit she had a rather beautiful smile to compliment her eyes...

Realizing where his train of thought was going, he turned a tint pink, and tried to suppress the blush as it tried to slip out and onto his cheeks.

When his drink arrived, he felt a bit of relief to take his mind off of the fine lady in front of him, and place it onto something else. He also thanked the waitress and took a sniff if his drink, and the hot mug that would have burned him had he not remembered the cleverly placed handle on the side. Trying to silently slurp the drink, he nodded. "My drink is very good. Yours?" He asked.
