Dannie looked up at Cam and held back her tears. She didn't like it when he was like this. She shook her head in frustration. "He's not my boyfriend. He's my best friend. And he always will be. Because I don't want him the way I want you." she said as she could feel the blush creeping over her face. She stared up at him with her bright green eyes and hoped she didn't screw things up for them.

Cameron blinked several times before a look of recognition crossed his face, along with the color of bright red. "Really? Hm..." He couldn't help but grin, giving her a gentle squeeze. "Good." He bent down and kissed her forehead, smiling.

Dannie smiled at him and laughed happily. Now all she had to worry about was telling Chris. She hoped he would be ok with this. She looked up at Cam and pulled him toward her as she kissed him passionately. She felt all of her troubles and worries disappear in that moment and she felt absolutely wonderful.

Cameron wrapped his arms protectively and secrely around her frail body. He pulled away momentarily, smiling, and kissed her cheek gently.

Dannie just laughed and smiled brightly. "You know, if it weren't for you I'd probably hate it here. I mean, you turn this whole horrible nightmare into this amazing dream." she said as she giggled and looked down as her blush returned. "When I first found out that I was stuck here, I didn't really know what to think. But now, I'm kind of glad that I'm here." she said as she held onto his hand.

Cameron smiled at her. "I'm glad to hear that. It's really not that bad here. I mean, not everyone is nice, but not everyone is mean either. Just depends." he shrugged and gave her delicate hand a squeeze, kissing one of her pink cheeks.

Dannie nodded as her cheeks became redder. You could even hear how fast her heart was beating. "Yeah, I know that now." she said as she smiled at him. "Do you think we should go back?" she asked as she pointed toward the circus.

Cameron's smiled faded. She seemed nervous. "We should head back, but not yet." He took both her hands in his, tilting his head slightly. "Are you okay, Dannie? You seem tense, nervous or somethin'," he murmured worriedly, concern in his eyes.

Dannie looked at Cameron and she simply laughed as she shook her head. "I'm fine. Really. It's just that, I've never really felt like this before. I guess that's why people make such a big deal about being in love." she said as she rolled her eyes and blushed even more.

Cameron's eyes got big and his eyebrows went skyward. His face turned as red as hers. "L-love?" he stuttered in awe, too dumbstruck to actually form that word into a sentence. Sure, he'd been in love before, but he didn't think anyone had ever felt that strongly about him- except ...her..., of course.

Dannie nodded as she giggled slightly. "Well yeah! I think that's what I'm feeling. I don't know. All I know is that my heart feels like it's about to just beat out of my chest. Can't you hear it?" she asked him even though she felt a little embarassed. She turned her hand over so her palm was facing up and she moved one of hid fingers so he could feel her pulse. It was beating like a thousand beats in a second.
