And so they went, with Keith more than happy to not have to deal with crappy whore Blair. Arriving at the top of the mountain, he smiled at what he saw. turned out he had guessed right and there was the last basket. However, inside it weren't chocolate eggs! They were Golden Eggs. Seven of them in fact. Now, the odds that there was one for every member of his team was only pure coincidence and hadn't been prearranged by the author. Nope, not at all.

Crimson lit another cigarette and glanced in Keith's direction as he heard him say something under his breath over there, he was sure it was some sort of obscenity. Not that it mattered, he placed his lighter back in his pocket and looked back up just in time to catch the golden egg that was flying at him. He looked into his hands once he had caught it, that didn't feel like any normal chocolate egg, even at its size. It was much heavier. He was quite surprised when he realized it was solid gold. These had to be worth a s**t ton. "Holy s**t!" He mumbled with his cigarette perched between his lips and walked closer to Keith, he glanced down at the little nesty/baskety thing and stood with his hands in his pockets dramatically. He looked up over the mountain, there was a great view from up here. But, it wasn't like that mattered. "Ay, now let's get out of here, mates." He started walking back down the hill, leaving the basket sitting there. He figured Freddy or Keith one would grab it, take it off of his hands. Even though he was captain, he still needed to watch his a**. He wouldn't let the rest of the team accuse him of losing/stealing their eggs. So, off he went, traveling back down the hill.

Treasure Hunt Year 5, Spring 27th Accepting people until sunday Ah, the treasure hunt. Of course Keith would be there, why wouldn't he? He was the best one at that festival! He liked to believe it was because he was awesome, but it could just be that everyone else were just morons. Either way, that was good enough for him. He liked to feel superior to people, and this was just the right place to be to feel like that. In a way, this was what he had the most in common with his mother, not that he would ever admit having anything in common with that b***h. Talking about Family, trailing behind him were John, Quentin and Wilhelm. Him and Conor really couldn't pass an occasion to just dump their kids unto someone else for the whole day. As for Wilhelm, well, when Yoakim learned that Keith was going to the festival and was bringing the kids with him, Yoakim just had to 'lend' them his own child too. All for having fun that day, of course, not to get rid of him to have some private time with Ellie, of course not.
Also at the festival, for the exact same reason as Keith, yet while being a bit delusional about her own abilities, was Lotte. Of course the local self proclaimed best treasure hunter on the island would be at that one peculiar festival. Hopefully this year, there wouldn't be any one stupid moron she had been paired up with last time. It was all because of them that she had lost! This year, she'd made sure to kill them before doing anything if she was paired with them once more. She couldn't let them sabotage her grand return to the hunt after a two year of preparation and careful study of the whole island!

Too bad Turner wasn't coming with her, but Talna still looked like she was ready to enjoy her day out! Turner was just too busy being the good farmer he was – it wasn't his fault if Talna had less to do and, thus, had time to go out treasure hunting. She carried a hand-woven basket on one arm to carry the eggs they were to find and, of course, some snacks for anyone who was gonna end up on her team. She was pretty glad Gladice wasn't going to participate, to be honest; that woman always outshined her in snacks..! But, without the woman, Talna was sure no one could complain about the little turnip shaped cookies she had baked early that morning when she finished the chores – after all, she had beat practically the whole town at the cooking competition. That showed she was better than most of them, though she wasn't going to shove it in anyone's faces. Oh, no, that wouldn't be what a humble housewife like her could do! She would just secretly be satisfied knowing she was doing better than them, is all. There wasn't anything wrong with having some pride, right?

Here for much more selfish reasons (and thankfully alone), was Benedikt! Well, of course he'd be here! After reading and asking around about it, he knew very well that the end prize was exactly what it sounded – a golden egg! Who would pass off a monetary aware like that?! He was sure he could manage a few cheesy riddles written by some disadvantaged mayor! He did have trust in his wit, after all~! So, yes, Benedikt had come in that spring day to the town square where all the hullabaloo was to happen. There weren't too many people there yet, but he figured that was because most had been dissuaded from failing – most of the NPCs he had asked seemed a little.. bitter over their losses. Benedikt could imagine; to lose to something the mayor came up with? That must have smarted like no tomorrow! But, Benedikt could only be happy at the result. After all, less competition for him~

Off following his daddy, John wasn't slacking in keeping up with the tall man's pace, being sure to stay just beside Quentin and Wilhelm so he didn't end up behind like he normally did whenever he went out with his dads. It wasn't his fault!! He just liked to hold the door open so people would thank him and.. and then he would end up standing there for a long time until he realized that dad and daddy had gone on ahead.. But! There wasn't a door to hold open that day! So, he was doing just fine in keeping up with them! He smiled as he walked, proud of himself for not getting lost~
Also quite happy that he wasn't lost was Ed Triggs, who was entering the square with a stroller too tall for him to comfortably push along, but he was somehow managing it. His father had seen the flier for the treasure hunt and automatically assumed that it was essentially free babysitting, so, without much hesitation, he gave Ed a map to memorize and head out with. Not that the kid could figure out the map; he just really ended up following the rest of the people. He stopped at a corner of the square with a bench, angling the stroller to face that before climbing atop it and looking inside at Vi, the little brunette staring dumbly back at him as she sucked her hand idly. Oh, just another day out for them, he supposed.
Who else was heading off to the town square? Well, Junior! He knew that Angelina sometimes participated in the event or.. or he hoped she would! If not her, then he was looking forward to maybe seeing Mitsukai or even Molly.. ...Wait, why was all of his friends girls? He frowned to himself as he walked hesitantly into the square, his eyes flicking from his feet to the few gathered nervously as he went. Maybe.. maybe Jacob was right.. He was pretty gay, what with how little male friends he had with him.. But, he didn't.. Oh, he didn't care! He just wanted friends – it wasn't his fault if none of the guys felt like playing with him! ...Okay, maybe it was a little.. or a lot.. Or.. He heaved a sigh. Maybe this wasn't a good day to go out..

If you asked her, Kotone could list ten reasons why coming to the treasure hunt was stupid. If you excluded the television shows, four. But four was still a decent number for someone like her! Normally, she would ignore the treasure hunt and continue doing what she did best, but she was bored locked up in the house with just Peter for company. So she decided to take him to the treasure hunt, where she could just dump him off with the other kids and halfass her way through the rest. Shinju should give her a present when she decided to stop being stupid and come home.
The short girl had her arms firmly crossed as she walked to the festival, with Peter trailing shortly behind. Every once in a while, she'd have to stop, because her son was so easily distracted by things. And so she was not in the greatest of moods, to say the least. And so when they reached their intended destination, she stopped to look around for a familiar face. Like Alanis, or the wizard! But of course, she didn't see anyone like that.
Peter, after being snapped at a few times, had decided to watch his feet as he stepped, swinging his arms in time with the rhythm of his movement. He was so focused on watching his feet that he kept on walking, even though his mother had stopped moments earlier. And neither Tamaki seemed to notice.

-Rune Vatonage, Julian Parker, Eet Alvey-Leblanc, & Lucia Woods-
Little Rune was at the hunt this year! She hadn't been in a while, and could only remember bits of being on top of a panda. Which only caused her to giggle at the memory. That had been a lot of fun, even if mommy had gotten crazy looking for her afterwards. This time however she would be close to her brother... well as close as she could get without him getting upset... which wasn't really that close...
While Rachel had decided to work today and keep watch over the festival, Julian was dropped off with the other children to take part in the hunt. His mother thought it would be fun for the little toddler, and hopefully it would be. Granted there wasn't much he could do aside from laugh... or cry if he was left behind...
A few feet away from Quentin, John, it's parents was Eet, trying to keep up with the bunch. Unfortunately the clothes that Eet wore usually had it tripping and falling on it's face more than it managed to run. Each time Eet's face scrunched up in slight pain before standing back up to go after them. Well... it would've cried... but somewhere along the lines it was stated that Eet's couldn't cry... Why? Good question...
"Now this is going to be fun" grinned Lucia as she came to the festival grounds. This time she dressed appropriately, or she'd like to think so. Well anything that didn't have her in her orange suit or white hood would probably be fine. Now... how did this go about again? She had kinda got lost on the other two festivals...

Una arrived with Integra to participate in the Treasure hunt. But upon arriving they realize.. just how many freaking children here were running around now. There were a few adults including themselves but...Alot of young tykes. Everyone had babies! They were everywhere! Well this would be interesting. ______ Aleksey, had, once again.. been wandering from his farm, on his own this time! No animal was following him, unless you counted the bee that was buzzing around his head, cause Aleksey smelled like a flower. He had been planting and tending to the sunflowers this morning when the Bee found him and started buzzing around his head. It was still there, no matter what Aleksey did, which was ignore it. Upon entering the area, Aleksey smiled brightly. Oh! It looked to be another gathering! Oooh what was it this time?!
