 Callysto Volkova | Language Master | Head of Slytherin Callysto hung outside the doors of Hogwarts infirmary looking slightly green. She didn't know how the birthing process went, so was quite worried for her friend. She wasn't sure if she should enter or not, Aludra and herself had been friends since her own second-year, Aludra's first. Callysto certainly considered the girl to be her best friend but did Aludra think the same? If she didn't she most definitely didn't belong in the hospital room. She paced quietly and frantically, debating with herself.

 ((I'm sorry--we had a thunderstorm last night and it killed my internet. It'll take a day for it to fully recover, so Friday is good for me too.))
Amelia leaned forward, placing her small hand on Aludra's stomach. Though she'd been able to see the auras of all three of them at first sight, the twins had been blurred. Now they were perfectly clear within her mind and she nodded to herself. Keeping her voice gentle, she whispered to the expectant mother, "They are sensing your fear, but turning it into excitement. Since they do not know what fear is. You must stay calm or they will come before the others are ready for it." She stroked her arm carefully. "Your body knows what to do--it will do it on its own, only during the true labor do you need to participate. Right now you just need to relax. You can sing right? Tell me your favorite song." She kept touching her, trying to press her calm aura into her. She wasn't sure why, but she felt she needed to be there to help. It was as if her powers demanded it; as if they knew they could help Aludra, so Amelia had to try. Otherwise she'd never forgive herself for betraying both her new friend and herself.

Aludra Yvette... Slowly, the pain died down as she came to the end of another contraction. They were begining to come at regular intervals now which could only mean it was time for the twins to make their way into the world. She hadn't even considered on names yet, but hell, she didnt even know what the babies sex were. If anything her and Kenneth would need to wait a little while before naming them. Speaking of Kenneth, fear flooded her. He was sitting in a daze-like state next to her through this whole process. Her screams and wails didnt seem to go noticed. Kenneth had been so excited when she first mentioned the news of the twins to him, but during the months after he had seemed... distant. She honestly didnt know what to think. The worst thoughts began to pop into her mind of his denying the twins, him feeling obligated to marry her because of the babies, and other heart breaking reason popped into her mind as she thought. Aludra pulled her hand away from Kenneth's and she buried her face into her hands sobbing. Her body hurt, her mind felt like it was going to collaspe on itseld, and all the while people were telling her what they thought she should be doing. This was being all too much for her to bare.
All of a sudden she felt a tiny hand on her arm, stroking it back and forth in a calm, almost mother-like, motion. Aludra lifted her head up from her hands and saw Amelia next to her. She was trying to soothe her so that she didnt feel as afraid but Aludra couldnt help it. She felt afraid, sad, happy, and miserable all at the same time. Afraid of the pain that was going to come, sad for thinking of Kenneth, happy that her babies were finally going to come into the world, and miserable for everthing else that was going on. Aludra sniffled her nose and wiped away the tears that were coming to her eyes as she leaned back onto the pillows for support. "Belle. From Notre Dame, not that silly muggle movie." She couldnt help but smile at how the muggles could think of such stupid childrens tales, but none the less they were the stories she would raise her children on. ...7th Year Slytherin ((Whenever you guys are ready, LETS DO THIS!))

Amelia smiled, nodding encouragingly. "Belle." she paused a second, to locate the music. the hint of the Notre Dame was a helpful one, though it took her a moment to remember. "From the musical?" she leaned forward and asked softly, "Do you know it in English? I can play it." It was one thing that she loved about music, the universality of it. She glanced down, unable to help herself to see the auras of the children. They both were strong, beautiful auras. Brave too, they weren't worried at all. She could tell the boy was the strongest, his sister relied on him to stay calm and excited about this new experience.
She continued her stroking, keeping her voice calm. She only knew how to transfer her energy through either music or touch. Since music hadn't worked, she was trying touch. She knew if she left any calmness Aludra had gotten from her would leave with her.

Kenneth felt his hand empty, he looked down and true enough Aludra had pulled her hand away. He didn't know why, he was just setting next to her with no idea what so ever on what he was suppose to be doing. Sitting here in the chair wasn't something he could much longer, if he did he surely would go crazy. So he stood up and started to pace back and forth along the side of Aludra's bed.

Ayamae was glad that Amelia had taken charge and was calming Aludra down. She herself had no idea what to do. She'd never had siblings, never been a mother...closest thing to the birth of twins she'd been was the letter from her Uncle Max to her grandparents saying that she now had twin cousins, Jeremiah and Jason. And a letter sure as hell didn't help her in this situation. She wished that she had seen a muggle movie, or at least read more on the subject. What little she had read was to concoct the numbing potion for Aludra, and all that entailed was when to give the potion...
She lounged in her chair, trying to think of some way to help Aludra stay calm, when her eyes rested on Kenneth. He had begun to pace. She smiled to herself. "Expectant daddy looks like he could use a drink..." she thought.

Lillian rushed in just in time...the baby would be born fairly soon. (In a little while, since I know we had said same time before and it was 9pm, right now it's only 6)
She waited and stood by the side of Aludra that Kenneth wasn't on. She looked across from her, to Kenneth, and smiled. He would make a wonderful father.
