Well....I've been working on improving my art skills as well...maybe there's a shop (I'm pretty sure there is) that's been put up for artists to help raise funds?

*is very mad* OK, for whatever reason I never got the announcement for the room host app threadapparently they made guild announcements notices and I never noticed because I don't look at them on the My Gaia page and turned notices off ages ago, and I was told it wasn't happening until like November so I wasn't on the lookout for it, and I never got to apply.....
......stuff is just moving way to fast in the guild, I think everyone's getting way ahead of themselves.........

BTW, if anyone was wondering why I'm not really doing anything for the ball even though I'm a committee co-whatever, it's because I have no artistic talent so I can't do an art or graphics shop, and I can't open a fundraiser/ball awareness thread like I'd originally planned on spending lots of time on because someone already opened one. stressed It's great you guys are on top of it and stuff, just thought you ought to know...

The only artist I know who would do that just quit gaia, and I just don't have time at the moment to go recruit a bunch of people I don't know into it.

Honestly, I'm a bit unprepared right now to do anything useful other than apply for a position that involves me doing stuff for the ball later, which as I mentioned, I've missed out on.

I really was hoping to be on a different committee or head a different kind of fund raising project until they picked room hosts, and then we'd shut down committees and it would but up to hosts, but that scenario was also based off the idea that hosts wouldn't be picked until later.

It's fine! Everyone has crises (Crisises?) and here's the best spot when you need some sympathy. I know I sound like a stupid kindergarten teacher, but it's really fine. I think.

Thanks cozork. I feel really bad, this crap keeps coming up for me and making me feel completely ineffective as a leader. sad At least I've got a great team.

Yeah, the water's down now, Luna Verto, thank god. It's not really raining anymore, but there's another storm coming at us this weekend. Because it would be far too easy just to have one. *eye roll* Also, a Harry Potter reference makes everything better. heehee.

HUMOROUS STORY TIEMS::

We're doing biography speeches in class, and we're doing it from first person, and I'm Princess Diana (has nothing to do with the story but she rocked), and this one kid was John McCain, he put on a fake accent, and his speech sounded like,

"Hello, My friends, my name is John McCain, and I was born, my friends, in the great country of America, my friends, in 19__, in __, on __/__/__. My parents, my friends, were ______ and _______ McCain. I had __ siblings, my friends, and grew up very poor....I served our country, my friends, for many years, my friends, and was kidnapped while serving our country, my friends....my friends, I began my political career in 19__. My friends, I was dedicated to helping our great country of America move forward, my friends, in a progressive way, my friends."


......I think you get the point. lol
