Arielle Shore
Arielle had woken up in the middle of the night, the sound of thunder seeming to wake her up. That, or her need to use the restroom. It didn't bother her much, but she did sit up. What time was it? Only ten till five? Perfect, she could have gotten more sleep, but her brain was somehow more wide awake than usual. Not really caring, she decided that she could make some breakfast before getting ready for school. Looking through the fridge, Arielle had absolutely no idea what to make for breakfast, but she believed that french toast and eggs would be fine. Without another thought, she took out the things she needed to make breakfast and continued with her small early task.
((Sorry about the wait and it's sucky quality XP.))

Kedrick Suwa
Kedrick sat up, rubbing the heels of his palms against his closed eyes. "Mmmmmm..." He groaned softly, shaking his head. Kedrick dropped his legs over the side of his bed, then stood up and got changed, pulling on a green T-shirt, simple brown jacket and jeans. He went to walk downstairs, but paused in the doorway. "wait..." He mumbled. "wasn't there something important I told myself I'd do today?" He pondered this for a moment, mulling over the possibility's in his mind. "uhh... buy grocerys?... nah, did that yesterday....clean my room..." He glanced around at his messy space. "uhhh...yuck... I'll do it tomorrow... That's it!" He cried victoriously. "History test!...oh...yuck...history test...." As he walked down the stairs the thought of telling Arielle he loved her completely slipped his mind. "Arielle?" He called, peeking into the kitchen. "You there? you awake?"

Arielle Shore
Arielle was halfway through breakfast, the food turning out just well. She started singing to herself, feeling that would wake her up completely. She sang "I Could Have Danced All Night", a personal favorite from one of her all-time favorite musicals. She remembered how hard it used to be to try and match the key, but now she could sing it without ease. As she had finished with the plates she heard footsteps and turned to see Kedrick peek his head in. She smiled and then realized she was still in her pajamas. Her smile became small and nervous, but it was a smile all the same. "Morning, Kedrick. Breakfast's ready."

Kedrick Suwa
He smiled at her a shy look on his face. "G'morning." He said sheepishly, stepping into the kitchen, his socked feet slipping slightly on the tile. Kedrick had heard her singing to herself as he had approched the door, he wished she wouldn't have stopped. Kedrick liked to listen to her sing. Though he knew from experience that he himself normally felt self conscious whenever he sang in front of other people. Kedrick sat down in the chair he had pulled out for himself, and looked up, smiling at Arielle in a dreamy, half-awake sort of way."I like your pajamas, you look nice." He said, obviously not quite awake yet.

"Oh, thanks. They aren't that special," Arielle replied with another small smile. She made a plate for Kedrick and handed it to him with a glass of juice. "How was studying for your History test? I hope it wasn't too hard." She made a plate for herself and sat it down, then got some silverware for the two of them before sitting down.

"studying wasn't to hard," Kedrick replied, picking up his fork. "but I still get jittery before tests, it's an unavoidable, not to mention unpleasant, fact of life...." He looked up smiling at her, trying a bit harder to wake himself up. Kedricks eyes wandered past Arielle to the clock. 'it's later than I thought...I need to get moving....' Kedirck though. "uh...oh boy, I've got to go, I'm gonna be late!" He snarffed the rest of his breakfast. " thanks for the food Arielle it was great." He said, tugging on his shoes. " He paused at the door a moment. "Arielle!..." He called to get her attention " I lov....I mean.. I'll uh.. see you after class." He said finishing in a mumble before he ran out the door.

Arielle Shore
Arielle nodded and listened to Kedrick, not knowing what to say. The food was good, and it woke her up a little. When he scarfed down the rest of his breakfast and left, Arielle thought he was going to say something but had stopped and said that he would see her after class. She wondered if that was what he actually had to say, but looking at the clock, she knew she too had to hurry to get ready for school. Finishing the last bite on her plate, she quickly rinsed off the dishes, deciding to clean them up as soon as she got home. She then ran up to her room, took a quick shower, threw on something comfortable and left the house, making sure that the door was locked, and headed to school.

Kedrick Suwa
School seemed to take forever for Kedrick, the classed just never seemed to end. He looked up at the clock, grateful to see that it was almost dismissal time. Finally the bell rang and Kedrick walked out into the school yard."Hey," Kedrick's friend Dimitri said, dropping an arm around his shoulder. "Hey Dimitri," He said with a smile, then quickly frowned, noting the sly look on his friends face. "what?" He asked suspiciously. "Oh, nothing," Dimitri replied innocently. " I just herd, from someone...that you have a girl staying at your place!" He said, smiling broadly. Kedrick shoved him away. "It's not like that with Arielle!" He objected. "she just a good friend of mine, she's helping me keep the place in order!" Dimitri's grin widened."riiiiight....." Kedrick shot him a death-glare. "okay, okay!" Dimitri surrendered, holding his hands up. "so there's nothing going on between you and this Arielle girl, so....why don't you take me to meet her?" He suggested. Now, just to fill you in, Dimitri had a reputation as the most out-going flirt in the school, and had dated most every girl his age in the town. "No, I don't think that's a good idea...." Kedrick said. "oh, I see, you're trying to keep the fair beauty all to yourself hm?" Dimitri accused. "NO!" Kedrick said. In the end, Dimitri harassed him into taking him to meet Arielle. "come on..." Kedrick mumbled, grabbing Dimitri by the arm and dragging him off. "we'll meet her on the crossroad between our two schools." and so the two of them stood, and waited for her.

Arielle Shore
There was no greater sound then that of the school bell. The day seemed to have dragged on, but once it was over, Arielle celebrated in her mind. Walking to her locker, Arielle grabbed her things that she needed for tonight. A few of her friends came by and asked her if she had wanted to come with them to watch the boy's practice football. She only declined with a small smile. She wasn't much of a football fan and didn't really want to watch the boy's practice. The only thing her friends would do was spazz about which boy was the cutest and who they should ask to the Harvest Dance, even though it was mainly a guy ask girl dance. Saying goodbye to her friends, Arielle left the building in a good mood. The workload was light and she was just feeling in a good mood. When she reached the crossroads, she was surprised to run into Kedrick and someone else. She walked up to them and smiled. "Hey there, Kedrick. Who's your friend?"

Kedrick Suwa
Kedrick looked embarrassed, looking down and rubbing the back of his neck. "ah, uh...Arielle, Dimitri." He said, motioning with one hand to Arielle and then back at his friend. " Dimitri...Arielle..." Dimitri's face split into a grin, and he walked over, dropping his arm around her shoulder as if they had known each other for forever. "wow, you're even cuter than Kedrick described." He said, beginning to trace a figure-eight pattern on her shoulder with his finger-tip. "you know," He whispered in her ear, his hand sliding down to her back. "if you're not busy on Friday night I know a wonderful, romantic..." Kedrick cut him off in mid-sentence, grabbing his shoulders and guiding him away. "Good bye Dimitri." He said firmly. "awww, don't be a party-pooper Kedrick!" He cried, then added with a sly smile. "I was just getting started, and if there's really nothing going on between you and Arielle then...." "Good bye Dimitri!" He emphasized, giving him another shove. "okay, okay fine..." Dimitri sulked, walking off, but not without a final jab. as he walked away they heard him singing just loud enough for them to hear. "there may be trouble ahead! for when there's music and moon light and love and romance!" Kedrick winced as Dimitri's voice faded away. "I'm really, really sorry about that..." He apologized, looking horribly embarrassed.

Arielle Shore
Arielle noticed the embarrassed look that Kedrick had. Before Arielle could say anything back to the introduction, Dimitri had walked over to her and draped his arm around her. The comment he said made her blush. Kedrick talked about her to his friends? Well, she had told her one friend about him, but didn't expect that. She could barely get a small thank you out when she felt him do a figure-eight pattern on her shoulder. Her small blush grew even more. His hand sliding down her back made the blush worse, her whole entire face was hot. She was glad when Kedrick moved him away from her, she felt like her face would be as warm as if she had a fever. She felt surprised about Dimitri's statement. If there was nothing going on then why...? She shook the thought of her head and felt even more embarrassed about the line his friend had sung before he left. She only laughed nervously when Kedrick apologized and pushed some hair back. "Oh don't worry, my friend would probably do the same thing. She just loves embarrassing me. Besides, I've met guys like Dimitri before." Another small nervous laugh escaped Arielle and she could only think about how the school's quarterback had tried asking her out many times. With a small sigh, Arielle started heading home, trying to calm down to some extent.

"still, I feel really bad, This was my fault." He apologized. "I should have know Dimitri would act like that, he really is a nice guy he just has a week spot for..well, you know...girls..." Kedrick looked down at his shoes and she slid into step next to her.'how am I supposed to tell her that I like her after something like that?!' Kedrick wondered, he felt his cheeks heating up at the though. Dimitri was persistent, under normal circumstances, he wouldn't have let up until Arielle agreed to go out with him.

"It's alright Kedrick. I'm fine, seriously," Arielle said, turning to face Kedrick and grin like it was nothing, "Besides, I feel like every guy has a weakness to girls or something. It's nothing to blame yourself for." She only grinned and felt a blank go through her mind. She didn't know what to say since her brain was still in a daze until it hit her. "S-So. How was school today?"

"uh.. it was good...." Kedrick said, "very long, but good...I suppose...at least I did okay on my history test" Kedrick felt the intense urge to apologize again for Dimitri's behavior, but pressed his lips together, remembering he had apologized twice already for the same incident. He stuffed his hands into the pockets of his jeans and tipped his head back to look at the sky, wondering what else could go wrong in one afternoon.
((really short...sorry...))

Arielle Shore
"That's good," Ariell stated, not knowing what else to say. Why did the walk home seem so awkward all of a sudden? Was it because of what Dimitri had said? She sighed quietly to herself and started playing with her fingers. The memory of the Harvest Dance popped into her mind but she didn't know if bringing him would be a good idea. She opened her mouth, only to close it yet again. This is so embarrassing.
