 Christen took a deep breath and went on."Well about halfway through the alley Mark's friend thought it's be good to go through with the little plan he'd been thinking through for about a week. He jumped me and Mark and was actually going for Mar. I got infront of him and he stabbed me in the shoulder. He stabbed me in alot of other places too, thinking I was Mark...." Christen explained.

Jacob listened ut had a dazed look in his eyes. He insticntively grabbed his hand, squeezing it.

A few tears rn down Christen's face."Mark got away but not far before his friend killed him....and I couldn't do anything about it...." He said. He sniffled and dried his eyes.

Jacob held Christen tighter and rocked him. He was a little devastated that those words fell out of his mouth, but it wasnt directed at him. He pushed those feelings aside and rubbed Christen's head trying to relax him.

Christen nodded."Not after he killed a few more of my friends...." He said. "I was all alone those few years ago...I was the only one who survived the mass murder...but I was still a vampire...so I couldn't die...if only I could've changed him...." Christen's eyes went wide as one of Itsuki's orders ran through his mind.

"Probly moved somewhere after he finished his college 4th year of college...he was 23 you know...acted like a 16 year old though..." Christen laughed slightly."He was alot like you...very kind and caring....always trying to make me smile or happy...." Christen closed his eyes.

Jacob pulled away and looked at him devastated. "Im sure that you miss him dearly and would like to go back to him if you could...." Jacob looked away.
