Opening her eyes, she submerged from the water and splashed Strength, "I kind of saw that coming, pay back," she stated before splashing him again.

Even if she wasn't pulled in, she felt anxiety when she realized Strength had grabbed her ankle, it what the thing.. er, dead chick, had done at the lake but she let it slip, she would never blow her composure now. At least not in public. Not really knowing how to respond, she went rigid before managing to break the grasp on her ankle and going underwater, staring directly at Strength with a devilish smirk, she would get him back somehow...

強さ ▂▃▅▆↕☆↕▆▅▃▂ 勇気 Strength released Vegas' ankle when he felt her taking it back. His grey eyes looked back into her jade eyes, and blinked. Aw, crud. he knew that look, and he had something coming. It worried him in the joking/playful way. After a few seconds, Strength felt the last of his air supply leave him, and he surfaced the water, gasping for air. His hair was sopping, and clung to his head and face. He raked his hand through it, and shook it out, sending water flying in all different directions. He stopped, with his hair sitting on his head messily, and still very wet.孤独 恐れ

Sinking lower and lower, she tried to look as if she'd fainted, she was pretty good at that due to the fact it was her excuse out of almost everything. She couldn't help but wonder how long she could stay underwater without needing to breath...

強さ ▂▃▅▆↕☆↕▆▅▃▂ 勇気 Strength felt something on his leg and jumped a little. He waited for Vegas to pop up somewhere, but didn't see her. "Oi." he called. He submerged back into the water to see the ginger sinking. "Mrrrph!" was pretty much what came out, after all, he was underwater. If he wasn't, it still probably wound't be any words, just "Gah!"
Strength got a fresh breath of air and then dove after her, grabbing her arm and pulling her to the surface. When they hit the top, he muttered, "Smooth going..."孤独 恐れ

She took a deep breath, "Feels good to breathe again..." she declared.

He lifted his hand and half pat-half hit Vegas on the head, but there was little to no pressure behind it, anyway. He slipped his feet up and floated on his back, staring into the sky again. A cloud had moved over the sun, so a light shade was covering the pool, which Strength felt a lot more comfortable in than the direct light.孤独 恐れ

I mean... I've raised dead people before only she was more of a zombie... Maybe I should practice.. no.. that screams bad idea,' she thought, shaking her head and trying to push the thoughts away, raising dead people would make people suspicious. "Today was a.. weird day," Vegas declared quite spontaneously, she sighed let herself float.

The sun had returned, so it was very warm out... perfect for sleeping! He lay back down onto his chair on his stomach, and closed his eyes, quickly drifting off.孤独 恐れ ((It's 2:30am.. XD I think I should be getting to sleep! I'll come on in the morning, but after that Strength may as well be at the docks ;] Gone 'till Friday! Cya! ))

┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛『xxMood: Lazy.xxThoughts: Need a job ~xxStatus: Alive.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx』 Vegas yawned, the heat made her lazier than she usually was, applying another coat of sunscreen, she wrapped her towel around her body, closed her eyes and laid down on her chair again. After moments of bizarre musings, her breaths become slower and slower, she was getting sleepy, 'I wonder if Strength will still be here when I wake up.. highly doubt it, I could sleep forever but hey, maybe this is one of my dreams ~' she thought before finally drifting off into a quiet, undisturbed slumber and a land of vivid, realistic dreams. With a yawn, Vegas stretched her arms high above her head, looking over to the chair beside her, she realized that she had been right, there was no Strength there, not even a slight hint that he had maybe been there. 'Maybe he was a dream...' she mused, but the thought made her frown. She grabbed her clothing and went to change, she needed to find a job or at least someone to hang out with.
