Hal Jordan didn't have time to react. He was quite literally, just coming out of a black out. The next thing he knew, he'd heard a girl's voice, and he was being knocked into the floor. He gasped, his ring hand glowing on instinct, and looked down at his....attacker? A girl? Another Lantern.
Natalie stared down at the little reunion, kept her eyes fixed on them curiously for a moment, then looked up at Edel.
Edel now stood in the doorway, looking in with a small smile. Behind her, hiding behind her dark Victorian dress, was a bright mess of red hair, peeking into the room.

Carlie waited for her father to respond with an affectionate "C.J.!" like he always did, but when he didn't... She pulled away from him and frowned.
"Dad...?" she asked uncertainly, staring into his mask. "Are you okay? What are you doing here? Why aren't you in Coast City? And-- and this woman," she gestured to Edel, "is telling me there was some kind of... merging of universes or something? Where's Mom? Is she okay? She's still in Coast City too, isn't she?"

Hal stared back at the girl as his head tried to play catch-up with...well, everything. Last thing he honestly remembered was being...wait...where was he at last? The city right? No....the Satellite. He'd brought Deadpool up. Then he went....he didn't....he didn't remember. He was sleeping right? He'd been dreaming about...well, wait. Why was he in the middle of the room and in costume if he'd been sleeping.
Something was off. Very off. And why was this girl asking him -
He looked up at Edel, and locked eyes with her. In that brief second, something behind her eyes...clicked. And just as suddenly, he had no questions at all about why he was here or losing time.
With a frown, he looked back at the young girl. "Hang on, just calm down. I'm, I'm sorry but I don't know what you're talking about. Yes, the universal merging happened...months ago. I...haven't seen Coast City as of yet. I've been here and working with the others elsewhere." he replied.

When it became obvious that Hal didn't have a clue who she was, Carlie backed away, shock and horror on her face. But... this couldn't be true. He was her dad, had always been her dad... He just had amnesia. That had to be it. Right?
"Dad... It's-- It's me, Carlie. Your daughter, don't you remember? Carol Ferris is my mom, and you taught me how to be a Lantern..."
She frowned, and showed her ring. "This is your ring. You gave it to me on my sixteenth birthday after you retired from the Corps, and then you trained me for a month before I was inducted into the Corps..."

Hal looked back at her with his mouth gaping a bit. Daughter...? With Carol...? He looked down and brought up his hand to look at his ring. It was still there, still working. This...this couldn't be right. He wasn't that lost in time, was he? "I'm...sorry." He said, looking back up at her. "I'm not...Carol and I aren't even together anymore. I..." Don't know you." Was he really going to say that? It was the truth, but, it seemed like the last thing he should say right now.
Natalie looked between the two lanterns with a frown. The eye behind her dark hair flickering with a dim glow. The longer it went on, the more her frown fell.

"But..." she said softly; it was all she really could say at the moment. "I-I... I just saw you both this morning! Kissed you both goodbye as I went to school..."

"I'm sorry." Hal repeated. "I'm not who you're thinking I am. I've been here for months. I don't have a dau-" he began, before a hand on his shoulder drew his attention away. He looked back to find Natalie standing behind him. She looked up at him rather sadly, then looked over at C.J.
"Same one..." she said softly. "Different time..."
"Huh?' Hal asked.
"I think what my daughter is trying to say is..." Edel said, then paused for a moment. "You are the same Hal Jordan she knows. Just...a much earlier version. The events she knows of, have not happened yet for you. And won't for some time." she replied.
Hal blinked, then looked back at the young girl.
"My daughter has a gift of seeing into one's memories. And I can confirm the thoughts she's seeing...as well as the life signature you both share. Aura DNA if you will."

Carlie blinked once. "So... So I... Traveled back in time? How far back am I...?" she asked warily, feeling very confused-- just as confused as her father, if not more so.

"The nineteen fifties," a smooth female voice replied. The next moment, Black Cat stepped around the corner, mild amusement on her face. "You accidentally traveled back to your parent's senior prom, and now you have to somehow make it home at the exact moment when the clock tower is hit by lightning. Great Scott, so on and so forth."
Her eyes found Edel. "Sorry to interrupt. I actually wanted to ask if there is some sort of express lane to the Sanctum Sanctorum set up. I'd rather not go outside."

EDIT:
Edel opened her mouth to reply, but closed it once a new voice answered for her. She turned around to find her son's friend standing in the doorway. She smiled at her and nodded. "I can take you straight into the living room if you would like." Edel replied.

"... Huh? Oh, yeah... Back to the Future. Hurr durr..." Carlie said, waving her arms slightly and making an odd face. Then she looked to her father.
"Uh... I'm really, really sorry about this Dad. You did tell me once about how dangerous messing with time could be-- I mean, you will tell me, and-- Ugh, I hate time paradoxes... Am I gonna cause my own birth? Because... That's both completely awesome and totally freaky at the same time," Carlie said, rambling slightly, talking to no-one in particular now.

Cat's eyes were flicking over Hal Jordan with mild but undisguised interest, her mouth quirking upward slightly at the corners. After a moment, though she turned her attention back to the witch. "Good enough. Thank you. If... " What was she supposed to call him in front of other people? "...Reaper asks where I went, could you let him know? We got separated somehow."

Edel smiled a bit at Cat. "Of course. It is a rather large house if you begin wandering around. Quite easy to get lost in." she replied. ....actually....if Michael was wandering around...she would need to find him. Richard was still inside as well, after all. He was confined to only one room, but...fate being what it was, she didn't want to risk Michael bumping into his father. That she didn't want to deal with on top of everything else. "If we don't cross paths again, it was very nice meeting you." she continued.
With that the floor around Cat's feet began to glow. One envelope of light, and she'd fade out of the room and arrive in the Sanctum.
Hal had taken not of Cat as well, and returned the little grin. His attention quickly flipped back over to his daughter though. Luckily. "It's....um...It's alright. You're not the first person I've seen here that's from another point in time." he replied. Although...this was really...really....he didn't even know what to call it. This was his future daughter? With Carol? And he retired from the Corps? "How, ah...how old am I in your time?"

"Old," Carlie said jokingly as she watched the magical spell do its thing. "Nah, you're like... Forty-something, I think, by the time you retire. Like... Forty-four, I think. Yeah." she continued. Then she looked over at Hal.
"Hey, um... Again, I-I know this must be... difficult, meeting your future daughter. But I'm really just as confused as you are... If that helps. Which it probably doesn't. But, y'know, it's the thought that counts. Or something."
