Rachel jumped slighty, hearing the voice from the doorway. She moved in front of the painting, blocking his view. "Oh.. Just another project.. But you can't see it.." she said in her soft voice, her gaze fixating on his. "It's nothing really.." she said, her voice sweet.

Mirror nodded silently. Dragons could always tell what other dragons were thinking or feeling or so he'd learned that was true from his mother. His eyes shifted down at his feet. "I wanted to return home, but now if my parents find out that I've been put up as a slave, I might be disowned and my clan will die out, leaving only the next strongest clan to take over and they're a bunch of a**wipes. Now I feel like I'm missing part of myself that doesn't want to admit to how I truly feel," Mirror mumbled lifting his hand up in front of his face for a second only to drop it again.
"I already saw it. Who is it?" Laren asked sitting down in the doorway.

Rachel shook her head slightly. "I cant tell you." she said softly, looking down at the ground, being careful to cover the painting. She looked back up at him, her deep eyes cautious.

"I'm sorry. We could always create a clan. Just kidding," Mirror chuckled attempting to get her to smile.
"Yea you can. Who is it? A lover? A family member? A fantasy lover?" Laren smiled lightly.

Rachel bit her lip, as if debating to tell him the slightest detail. "It's.. Someone close to me." she said, turning the painting around swiftly, so he could not see anything but the easel and the back of the painting. She watched him, her gaze cautious.

"Someone close to you. What part of I've already seen it didn't you understand? It's fine. Keep your secrets. I'll keep quiet about it. I've gotta go save Nakoma," Laren smiled lightly standing up and taking a step away from the door before stopping. "You can tell us anything and if you need help, we're always there to help. Just letting you know."

 Rachel sighed lightly, moving over to her window and looking out upon her garden. He couldn't have seen who it was.. she had only just finished it.. and he had only caught a glimpse. That was right, she told herself. He hadn't seen who it was, and she was going to keep it hidden for a while, until the right time. She didn't know if Laren had already left yet, and she didn't look to see. Instead, she kept her eyes on her garden, and then decided, it was time she took a visit to it once again.

"That was a really bad joke... I'm surprised you even laughed at it. I mean if we were to make our own clan, we'd have to mate to keep it going," Mirror sighed hitting his head against his knees. "Worst part about that is I'm the only male dragon here and I'd have to choose between you and Demotta. Not a hard choice really, but I'd rather not get one woman mad at me for choosing the other."
Laden knocked on Nakoma's bedroom door and waited for a reply.

Rachel moved out of her bedroom, shutting the door behind her. She moved down the hallway, her eyes alert and focused, tuning out everything else in the world. She moved down several stair cases and then went to the back door, tugging it open softly, and moving out into the fresh night air. Inhaling deeply, a soft smile crossed her pale lips, and she pulled the door shut behind her. Moving through the darkness, and into the moonlight, she twirled a piece of her light brown hair around her finger, her gaze staying at the garden which was before her. Stepping into the flower-filled area, her smile grew, and her face was at peace. She moved off the the side gracefully, and sat down on the path, facing her lilies. Taking one in her hand, she held it under her nose, the flower's sweet smell filling her.

"That may be true, but I've met several female dragons who fought over my dad before he was clan leader. It gets scary when women get mad," Mirror smiled lightly while poking Gan on the arm. "My choice would've been you though."
"Howdy!" Len smiled sitting down next to Rachel. He had dirt smudges over his face, arms and clothes.

I would've just gotten over it."She said. "In my clan there were no disputes when it came to mates. At birth our mate was chosen out of a batch of eggs. Though if there were any arguments or fights then well they brought the two together even though it seemed like the two couldn't stand each other at first." She looked to the ground and closed her eyes, remembering her soon to be mate, he had such gorgeous midnight blue eyes, hair of black and silvers colors and was the nicest and kindest one she had ever met.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Trembling, crawling across my skin.

"In my clan, we were able to choose our mates. I never got the chance to choose... Who was your mate?" Mirror replied softly. He shifted his locket in his hand carefully as he began flipping through scenes he could see in reflective surfaces everywhere. "Maybe I could find him..."
